Fantastic experience: Great day doing my CBT with Don at B-Bikers Newport. Was nervous beforehand but Don was very supportive and made the day really enjoyable. Learnt a lot of tips and tricks that will make my life as a biker more cost effective and fun, too. Looks like the hire machines are really well kept, and the facilities are of a good standard (including compost eco loo!). Will definitely come back for the big bike test!

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t going to leave a review until I got my license, but honestly I don’t want to wait to share my experience so far. From Try-Ride, through CBT to Experience Day, Corinna, Don & Nate were absolutely amazing. They’re really patient and supportive, making the learning process so much easier, and they’re sharing lots of tips and tricks to help you get better at riding. I could not recommend them enough! Can’t wait for my next step in getting my license!

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience with completing or rather not completing my CBT course with B - Bikers Caerphilly. Firstly this location should not be open as it is registered under a different name “riding training Wales” when we booked with B - Bikers therefore making it difficult to find but not only that the facilities were terrible the surface area was extremely uneven and had a lot of pot holes not great for a beginner! It looks like it was plonked there to make some extra cash in a random location. Secondly the two trainers were so rude! Very unprofessional, very judgmental and very bad communicators. They were on their phones, smoking and generally didn’t seem bothered to be there. They picked apart everything about me and the other people there from the gear to our appearance. Myself and my boyfriend had the correct gear but still criticised us. As beginners we did our best be being prepared and getting the correct gear before hand. There were some comments made by the man there in particular that I would consider disrespectful and his attitude was disgusting! Clearly no patience for beginners with ZERO experience riding. The woman on the other had was slightly kinder in her demeanour but still had no patience and they both made us feel stupid for needing extra help or explaining things further. Genuinely they were acting as if we should know everything already. In my honest opinion the fact no refund is available allows them to give terrible service and get away with it without consequences. We both left early for these reasons and more. It would have made a world of a difference if the trainers were kinder and more considerate. I was extremely anxious and like a NORMAL person made mistakes and didn’t understand things. We both made excuses as to why we left because we’re not horrible and didn’t want to hurt their feelings even though they hurt ours. One thing I will not tolerate is rude people. I was really looking forward to the CBT and I went away feeling really upset and regretful. Thankfully I’m not put off learning because I know other places will provide better services. Also talking badly about previous learners is not professional. Overall bad vibes not what I expected from the biking community.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my CBT after not riding for faaaaaarrr too long... and in fact forgetting how too, but now I'm pushing for my full bike license. Have to say it was a laugh. Corinna and Don were fantastic instructors. Yard work was a good introduction to the bikes for anyone who has never ridden (or forgot how to). Friendly, fun atmosphere, however they know when to get serious on the road. At the end of the day, they're just trying to keep you safe and that really shows. They have a policy of 2 per instructor while out on the road which just works so much better than the last time I did it. Seriously if you're looking for a riding school, I recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: Have had 2 try before you ride with Pete and really wasn't keen on doing it as I don't like to be in new or test type environments but didn't feel like that at all. Was just two people at a time doing basics on bikes to see if it's something you want to pursue. Pete was very calming and supportive that confidence came a lot quicker than expected. Would highly recommend to anyone curious about motorbikes give this a try for an hour and you'll soon figure out if it's for you. Fantastic experience: For years I've wanted to ride a motorcycle and for my 35th birthday I decided to bite the bullet and start learning. From the start of my CBT with Corina, my assessment with Pete and mod1 and mod2 with Mark and even Kathryn in admin making everything easy to book, I can't fault what they do. They make things easy to learn and remember, insightful and friendly which really helped to build my confidence on a bike. Anyone looking to start their journey I couldn't recommend a better place to start, what you waiting for give them a call and they'll help in anyway they can.

Fantastic experience: I went to B-Bikers for a 125 experience day. I hadn't ridden for 10 years and I want to push for my full license rather than purchase a 125. Mark, my instructor was fantastic, great at explaining concepts in a way that even I could understand. Highly recommend if you're new to riding or if you want a refresher if you haven't ridden for a while.

Fantastic experience: I went to B-Bikers have a go day January 2022. Went back In January 2023 and done my CBT after a few months I couldn't stick riding a 125cc and finally booked my DAS MOD1 & MOD2 March & April 2024... passed with only 2 Minors over both tests, Mark was an absolutely brilliant instructor, ( Dont expect him to buy you a bacon role though) 1 star off for that. the whole team at B-Bikers are superb. These are the people to get you through it.

Fantastic experience: Before my CBT I had never ridden a motorcycle. A couple of months later and I sailed through my MOD2 with 3 rider faults - not too bad considering! Great experience with b-bikers, friendly and professional instructors who make the courses interesting and rewarding. Very supportive and great instruction to get me to a point where I am now a fully qualified biker. As a female with no previous biking experience other than my CBT and a few rides out on my own 125 I can highly recommend both Pete and Mark who will make you feel very much at ease and get you to the standard required to pass. No question feels like a stupid question and they only run training with a maximum of 2 people so you feel safe and looked after.

Fantastic experience: A Great Way to Kick Start your Biking Career As a woman of mature years with a personal goal of learning to ride a motorcycle I confess that I was a little apprehensive & wondered if I could achieve it . In my research I was really pleased to discover the ‘ try a ride’ scheme & having had a very positive experience embarked on a journey to gain my CBT certificate. From the start my instructor Mark was really supportive and helped me to become more confident. From the training in the yard to the on the road experience Mark helped and encouraged me every step of the way. He made me feel able to ask questions & talk easily about various aspects of bike riding.

As someone that has adhd I struggle to learn in the conventional sense so when I told them of this half way through my first day they took the time to help me the way I needed. The quality of riding instructors here is top notch. Big thanks to Ali who got me started and introduced me to the fundamentals of riding during my CBT, Pete who got me through my module 1 with zero faults and a special mention to Mark who has been world class from the start of my journey to the very end. Made us feel comfortable as soon as we got there. They took their time with me on the control’s which made me feel more confident. My partner was on a sinis and I was on a Yamaha z125. Lovely range of bikes to choose from. We both passed our CBT’s and we are over the moon ♥️

Fantastic experience: Attended my first CBT 27.09.23 with these guys, me and one other on the day, learning made simple, appropriate run time through the day, decent bikes and training yard, had Dom on the day, very good instructor , no question unanswered and no direction unclear! Shortly after completion, even offered to come back for an hour on a day of my choosing to have experience on a 650cc bike, as i would like to go for my full license. Highlyyy recommend

Negative experience: Really poor experience at Bristol. If you can’t speak English fluently, be careful. If someone needs a little help understanding things, they claimed a safety issue rather than taking time and being flexible and helpful. There was only 2 people per instructor, so it was possible to do. But, Course cancelled within 2 hours, with no refund option. Called helpline to provide feedback on the instructors, and they just didn’t want to know. Went to another company in the meantime, and difference was night and day. B Bikers Bristol would provide a better service with a bit more time taken to help some people.

Positive experience: Beware if you have disability and doing your cbt and don't understand what they are saying as the gentleman training and doing the test just brushes it off, yet the female who is just as bad as the other learner but without a disability gets laughed and joked with when doing something wrong, she passes he don't, I understand you want them to be safe but if you are told they have disability then offer extra help.

Fantastic experience: The best training I've ever received for being on the road - I've done almost ever type of car / racecar tuition over the last twenty years and these guys are the best instructors I've ever had - you / we are lucky to have people so good to teach as I feel they are wasted teaching CBT's & bike tests lol - I wouldn't go anywhere else to complete my full license. Fantastic experience: Can not recommend B-Bikers enough. Dad and I decided we wanted to learn to ride and booked our CBT end of January. B-Bikers took us from no previous experience whatsoever to, as of June, being fully fledged “novice” riders with full A licences. Handy noting it only took an extra bit of time due my poorly timed holidaying. Brilliant experience throughout, learned loads with the team and enjoyed every minute of it. Worth mentioning too that as the training school is right next to the test centre pretty much all the practise you do with these guys will double up as familiarising the test routes. Special thanks to Mark and Peter who managed to guide us through our Mod 1 and 2. Excellent instructors and great fun to ride with aswell. If you are thinking about it, these are the guys you should do it with! Neil and Jack

Fantastic experience: I'd previously done 5 or so CBTs before trying B-Bikers and had become fussy about the quality of the training, the "feel of the place" and how skilled the instructors were in adapting their approach to you and your skills/mindset. After all the experiences I've had, B-Bikers were far and away the best motorcycle training centre I've ever used - get in touch with them and get booking, I can't recommend them enough!! This time, following another CBT renewal, I even carried on with the training and achieved my full licence. That was all thanks to the excellent training/instructors, ease of booking, responsiveness to emails/queries and costs. A huge thank you to everyone at B-Bikers!

Fantastic experience: Great CBTs, absolutely no chance you won’t be able to know what you’re doing by the end of it. Very clear instructions and they 100% know what they’re doing. If you’re having any problems riding they’ll be able to tell you what it is you’re doing wrong and help you fix it. Did some training with Corinna and someone else (sorry mate can’t remember your name) and had my road ride with Corinna too, she noticed everything I was doing wrong even when I was behind her and every minute felt like I was getting better. The ride was absolutely brilliant. Properly friendly but still clear at the same time. I came up from Bristol and it was worth the journey and more than worth the money, 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’m a bit late leaving a review, having done my test back in 2022, but I done my course with Corinna in Newport and she’s an amazing instructor, very knowledgeable and friendly. Puts you at ease without issue and makes you feel comfortable as a learner.

Fantastic experience: Delighted to have passed my CBT with B-Bikers Newport today. I was fairly nervous at the outset but the lovely instructors, Don & Corinna, soon put me at ease. I completed my training on an auto bike (easy to ride, zero stress!) under the expert guidance of Don, who was both patient & reassuring; I felt completely safe with him & really enjoyed the day. Thanks B-Bikers & I’ll definitely be back for more training towards my full licence P.S. Don - I owe you a CMC coffee!

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT with B-bikers Newport. What can I say, fab day! They made me and the others feel at ease from the get go. Plenty of humour and jokes whilst also delivering the serious and import parts in a proper manner. Kit provided was of really high standard and there was a variety of bikes. There was 3 instructors on the day, aswel as 3 of us taking the CBT. During the day we were all together, doing the lessons etc. Those lessons were very in depth, we were continously reassured, given further instruction/advice and given all the time we needed to feel comfortable with each exercise. When it come to the road portion, I went with Alan, great guy, very dry humour but made me completely at ease. We went shortly around quieter roads and car parks, before discussing, moving on, with myself being comfortable and him feeling I'm able to handle more busy or more difficult roads. I took the lead shortly after this, with Alan directing via radio. We took a great route then, going through different types of traffic, roads and road conditions. We stopped half way through this part to discuss how things were going. Which were all very good. I asked to try out the bike Alan was on (still a 125cc) as this was more my kinda bike but wasnt the one i had trained on, but Alan was more then happy to swap and explained the minor differences. We had some really bad rain and wind but the day went really well none the less! All in all a really great day! Absolutely recommend! Thanks to all the guys that day (13.03.23), especially Alan my road instructor

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with Steve and was a great day learning the basics required. Followed up with a 125cc experience day with Mark which really helped gain more confidences and experience, had a great day learning more advanced skills and a good ride out to finish the day.
