From the very start, Andy demonstrated a perfect balance of patience and professionalism, making me feel at ease and confident on the bike. His calm and composed demeanour helped to alleviate any nerves I had, allowing me to focus on learning and improving my skills. Throughout the course, Andy provided clear and concise instructions, breaking down complex manoeuvres into manageable chunks. Fantastic experience: I can throughly recommend Davies, Andy guided me through my cbt and then i completed my direct access to obtain my full A licence. Andy was excellent the right amount of being firm but also having a laugh and putting me at ease. Training was carried out on excellent brand new bikes which were always clean and well cared for. Mock tests were carried out at the test centre so going for the tests I felt really at ease and passed straight away which I credit to Andys excellent instruction. I would definitely recommend Davies to anyone looking to obtain their motorbike licence.

Fantastic experience: I chose Davies Motorcycle Training School after reading reviews and comparing to the other riding schools around the Warrington area. It was the best educated desicion I made... Starting out as a novice rider with limited knowledge, Andy and his team were professional and really inclusive. No question was daft and I wasn't afraid to ask if I didn't understand something. CBT was conducted in a large private area without the issue with other road users or pedestrians. This covered from the absolute basics right through to the basics of road riding. Once the team were happy that you were at a decent standard and you felt confident enough, the team took you out on the road. At no point was I intimidated by the roads as the team and the training comes into it's own. I was then ready for MOD1...... Slow manoeuvres..... this was the one that was giving me sweats. The idea of a bigger bike and slow maneuvering filled me with dread......... Once again however, Andy not only converted me on a prior lesson from 125cc to the bigger bike, he also provided all the necessary knowledge needed to manovre around the area and cones. Needless to say I passed my test 1st time with zero faults. This plays mostly to the fact that, davies hire the actual test area out to practice on before your test. MASSIVE HELP MOD2 - THE GRAND FINALÉ (dun dun duuuuuun) One again, a few more lessons and I was off to St Helens with L plates affixed and nerves pulsing with anxiety & excitement. This was it...... the final test..... the only thing that stood in my way between the underwhelming L plate and the open road. I was prepared, informed & more importantly trained to Davies standard. Aaaaaaaaand.......... **drum roll**..... I PASSED first time I had done it and done it well! All thanks to the great team at Davies Motorcyle Training. ~ Training on a private area ~ Great, well maintained gear ~ Hire out actual test area to run mock tests ~ Knowledge & Training is second to none. HUGE THANKS TO: Andy Angela Chris & THE LUCKY HELMET

Fantastic experience: I’d only done my CBT and a couple of lessons on a 125 with another instructor but I learnt so much when I changed to Davies and my riding improved straight away. So much so that I passed both my MOD 1 and 2 with just a single minor. Andy, and Ange, are great and really look after you. They make the experience of learning to ride as easy as possible and really enjoyable. It might not seem important, but they also have the best bikes you can learn on, that are also new. It makes a big difference. In short…best team, best bikes and best venue (HJ stadium). Highly recommend and if you’ve been thinking of learning to ride, you will not regret choosing Davies MTC.

Fantastic experience: Extremely intimidated at the thought of riding a bike even on a carpark, at 50 I had been driving a car for 33 years but it was an itch that needed scratching and am i glad I did. The 2 instructors Graham and Andy were amazing, patient and respectful with a mass of humour what an amazing day and would recommend to anybody who is thinking about learning to ride thankyou again both .

Fantastic experience: I completed my CBT with Davies Motorcycle Training today and can't recommend them enough! The team (Angela, Andy and Graham) were all brilliant. Angela, sorted out my booking over the phone, was really friendly and helpful in answering the couple questions I had. Graham (my main instructor for the day) and Andy are both patient, fun, friendly and fully understand that learning to ride a bike can be a bit daunting at first - even to a 45-year-old, like me! Their instruction and demonstrations were excellent, and they make you feel at ease. Graham's feedback on the road was exceptional; he misses nothing! You feel safely guided by him, as he constantly improves your skills, in an entertaining (amusing!) way. I had a great day and having a photo taken in the stadium is a nice bonus too!! Thanks all!!

Fantastic experience: I did my CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 with Davies. I can’t recommend them highly enough. When I approached Angela I explained that my theory was due to run out in 3 months time. Angela acted quickly to get me some dates that worked around my busy work schedule. And even pre empted dates for my mod2 well before I’d even started my mod1 training so I can guarantee a spot in time before my theory ran out. (And even chased me up when I took too long to reply, to make sure I didn't miss my chance to book! :P) The good service didn’t stop there though. Following completion of my CBT, Andy was well aware that I needed to get through my Mod1 and Mod2 first time to remove any stress of running out of time on my theory. The fact this had been communicated surprised me as it shows they care about each person’s individual situation. Not only did Andy know, he approached my training in particular, in a manor that did make sure I passed both first time! They are a great set of guys running the training itself, very approachable and up for a laugh, but also have a strong approach that gets the points across and ultimately puts you in a position where you have the necessary skills to pass first time and be safe once actually out on the road. Fantastic experience: Completed my MOD 1&2 with Davies and after this, I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. From the first email to Angela through to passing my MOD2 it was first class service. Angela’s organising meant sessions fitted in with work and Andy’s instruction was excellent. Spent a session with Chris prior to MOD2 and his 3 hour guided tour round the test routes proved invaluable. Great instructors, patient and really relaxed, made it an enjoyable journey. I came to motorcycles as a complete novice at the grand old age of 46...so if they can teach this old dog they can teach anyone. CBT through the DAS Training course to complete MOD1 & MOD2 test first time. Andy, Angela and the team provide great training, communications throughout the process to give you all you need. Fantastic experience: I am an older rider who has not ridden for many years and this year the fantastic Davies' team took me through from CBT to a full category unrestricted A licence. Their training is thorough and they make sure that you will be a very safe rider by the time you pass your practical test. The whole experience is made easier by the very friendly, family atmosphere which in turn encourages a team spirit and raises self-confidence. I cannot recommend this training school highly enough and I am really grateful for their patience and for them sharing their wealth of experience, in turn providing a sound platform for me to develop my skills going forward and be safe on these busy and poorly maintained roads.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my brother have done our CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 with Andy and every bit of it has been brilliant. He teaches everything you need to know and more to be safe on the road. Arranging lessons and tests have been incredibly easy, everything's sorted quickly. The bikes he uses are fantastic, the way he's goes through each test and practicing everything before hand is brilliant. He tells you straight when you've done something and teaches you how to correct it. I can't thank him and Angela enough for helping me pass and getting out on the road with a full license.

They use Yamaha MT-07 motorcycles to train on and they are extremely forgiving for riders like myself who have never ridden larger than 125cc bikes. The quality of training is second to none and the banter is also first class! They provide you with brand new MT07 bikes for you to learn on which are really great to ride (I got a lot of envious looks from pupils of other riding schools when out and about). I dealt with Ange, Andy and Chris they provide a professional and personal service making everything easy, relaxing and fun. Andy gives great demonstrations, alwayd providing pointers and feedback whilst you're learning and paces lessons to allow you to get to grips with things at a digestible pace. The proof is in the pudding, with Davies I went from having not ridden, completed my CBT, DAS MOD 1, and MOD 2 all on the first try. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I went with Andy and his team based on reviews and a really supportive and helpful conversation with Angela. They’ve taken me from total novice to full licence holder and I can’t fault any element of the training (except the fact that it’s over and I’ll miss it!). Andy’s guidance, patience and encouragement have been what’s got me here. Fantastic experience: Can not recommend Davies MTC enough. They are a really friendly bunch helping you feel relaxed from day 1. They have a wealth of knowledge to help you improve your riding. From not riding for over 10 years I was able to pass my Mod 1 and Mod 2 on the first attempt. They give premium bike training for a fair price. They honestly want riders to be on the road and safe, and will get you in for your test as soon as you are ready. They are one of the only training centres to allow you to do a mock Mod 1 test at the test centre, making the Mod 1 process alot more relaxing.

I started here with my CBT in October and had the weather been ideal I would of had my full bike licence by end of November. Fantastic experience: I had to take the plunge and get my CBT due to moving house and being able to get to work. To say I was nervous after having no driving experience is an understatement. Graham was absolutely superb as a trainer and even when I thought I couldn't handle it and would fail, he filled me with confidence and I carried on. Fantastic experience: Passed my CBT, MOD 1 & 2 first time, with no prior experience, to gain my full license via the Direct Access Scheme with Davies. Most my of training was done with Andy and partly with Chris, they were both great teachers! Picking up my own MT07 in a few days and can't wait after learning on theirs... Fantastic experience: I’m a chap of certain vintage and have wanted to ride a bike for many years. On personal recommendation from a friend, I took the plunge late last year and went with Andy and the team through CBT and then some months later through DAS. The experience was universally positive, Andy and team help you learn and bed in that learning by pacing the lessons and not over facing you with trying to get everything right immediately - all the time doing it with a dry humour that puts you at ease. The preparation for Mod1 (on the test ground itself) was invaluable as were the lessons leading up to Mod2. In my 60th year I’m now a biker about to take delivery of a Guzzi v7 - and, despite the weather right now, I can’t wait to get out on it. Thanks so much Andy, Ange, Debs and Chris..

Fantastic experience: I transferred over to Davies after being disappointed with my progress at another riding school. Absolutely the best decision I made, I was almost at the point of giving up, selling my big bike and buying another 125. I'm so glad I didn't. I have completed my mod 1 & 2 with them, passing both 1st time. MT07's are the bikes they use and are lovely to ride. I had 2 lessons before each test mostly with Andy, but I did have 1 with Chris and Debs took me on the day for my MOD1 . All staff were brilliant and professional putting you at ease straight away. All bookings and payments where made with Ange, again fully professional and always got back to you. I found my first step up lesson a brilliant confidence boost as I was previously about to give up my dream of riding a bigger bike. Andy took me through everything to see where I was at and was really constructive in his feedback and teaching style. Saying what I did well, and how I could improve on other aspects. For me the the part that stood them head and shoulders above my previous instructor was on the actual test centre. Andy had his radio on at all times so was talking to me and giving instruction as I was doing the higher speed manoeuvres. I can't recommend Davies highly enough, don't go anywhere else. I did my CBT just over 12 months ago and I don't drive so was pretty much a novice. Thank you to you all for getting me through my tests and on my big bike!

Fantastic experience: Bit of background for this review. I’m a young 55 year old who fancied a new challenge and hobby. The team took me from CBT through MOD1 ( no minor faults ) and yesterday I passed my MOD2 ( with just one minor fault ) on the DAS scheme. I’m obviously over the moon. All 3 tests took a little over 3 months and that included me having 2 small holidays and doing it at a leisurely pace. All the bikes are nearly new and in great contrition Honda 125 for CBT and Yamaha MT07 for DAS MOD1 & 2. This became more obvious after my trips to the test centre where I saw some of the other training schools bikes ! There communication was great, I wasn’t the easiest person to schedule in due to the holidays and just being busy but Angela was very patient and worked wonders. The actual training was laid back and very enjoyable and let’s face it . I passed first go in a quick time after sitting on a bike for the first time 3 or so months earlier. Thanks to the whole team

Fantastic experience: After being on multiple training courses including my CBT, I’ve been very happy with my training so far. I believe they have ensured I am at a good level going into my Module 1. One thing I want to pay dividends to is the quality of motorcycles that are used across all courses, the MT-07 is a fantastic motor to do the training on as it’s very forgiving.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend the team at Davies enough. Without them I would of had no way chance passing my tests, I have had some personal issues at the time of my training and in one phone call they sorted some alternative training for me. These guys are the best trainers I have ever used and 5 stars does not even begin to justify how considerate, caring and professional they are. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone wanting to get on two wheels! The headline being, after an enjoyable few sessions I passed mod 1 and mod 2 first time. After completing my CBT elsewhere almost two years prior, I decided to give my full licence a shot. I came across Davies online and after reading their reviews, gave them a call. I spoke with Angela who was very friendly, helpful and quickly sorted me out some training dates. The whole admin side of this was efficient and transparent which was a big plus for me as I did initially think the process for doing your 'big bike' licence was a bit complicated. I had an initial assessment session with Andy who immediately put me at ease with his relaxed but professional manner and a bit of banter. On top of this, the brand new MT07s they use for DAS training are probably as a good as it gets as a learner bike. A couple of sessions and some expert advice later and I sailed through both tests and thanks to them I can enjoy the summer riding my new pride and joy. As I said, I highly recommend this school and would say if you're thinking about either CBT or getting your full licence you won't be disappointed with the training you'll get here!

Fantastic experience: Recently completed my CBT With Andy. The service was 5 star from being booked in by Angela all the way through to my CBT being signed off. Andy is such a great instructor, friendly, welcoming and professional. The training centre is in a great location and the bikes and safety equipment are brilliant. Couldnt recommend Davies Motorcycle training more and Im looking forward to booking in some DAS training in the coming months.

Fantastic experience: Completed CBT in April 2022. The instructors and the bike was great! Everything explained very well which meant I felt very comfortable going on the road for the first time.

Fantastic experience: Never ridden a geared bike. Last time was on one was only a 125cc moped in Thailand, which in hindsight wasn't to bright, so I was apprehensive to say the least to do my CBT on a geared bike on our roads. Andy's training and light hearted sense of humour really helped the day feel friendly, fun and fine-tuned. We had the weather, fortunately, which made the 2hr ride feel amazing, with Deb's guidance, it was really a beautiful ride. Would definitely recommend and I plan to carry out future training with the team as my confidence on two wheels has greatly improved! Many thanks!

Fantastic experience: I came to Davies on recommendation of family following disappointment in the quality of training offered by competing riding school in the local area when I completed my CBT a few months earlier. From very first speaking to Ange it became clear that Davies is a professional and dedicated school, with a passion for training people to enjoy riding and to do so safely. Andy and I met 1-2-1 for my first training session, he put me through my paces and was very honest throughout with feedback and observations on improvements I needed to make in order to be able to safely make the transition onto a big bike. I had a lovely ride out with Tony to help me relax and get used to riding the big bike before moving onto further training with Andy once again, Andy was excellent and got me through my mod1 and mod 2 passing both first time, instilling confidence in my ability to ride and giving advice when needed. Thanks Davies, I really enjoyed my time with you, I'm almost gutted that it has ended so quickly but look forward to seeing you on the road as a fully fledged biker . 100% recommend Davies to anyone, amazing team and bikes are awesome!

Fantastic experience: Went with these guys though after a recommendation and they taught me everything I needed to know. They use modern new bikes which are light and easy to handle. Did my CBT, Mod1 and Mod2 with them so thanks to them I can now get a proper bike. Thanks very much to all the instructors.

Fantastic experience: Great experience doing CBT. This was my second go at CBT having been sent home early from another training centre. Andy was great - listened and watched and understood what I could do already and what I needed help and practice with. I felt 100% more confident going into the final road ride and by 10 minutes into it I felt comfortable and confident. Will certainly be returning to prepare for my full test.
