Fastrak Motorcycle training

Fantastic experience: Start of October I decided I wanted to get my full motorbike license after having had my CBT twice in the last 10years , after a few messages and a phone call to Pauline I had my CBT booked for end of October , which I done with John who was very good he was firm but fair and had very high standards but was just looking out for you. Once that was done I booked my direct access course which was set for end of November and done my theory before this which I passed thankfully . After a few cancellations due to whether I can confirm I passed both my mod 1 and mod 2 first time last week all thanks to the training provided by Gus and Pauline , special mention to Gus who has taught me ride properly but most importantly safely really can't thank him enough. I will also add that I traveled daily from Dalkeith ( Edinburgh outskirts ) to do my training with them that's just how good they are ! Thanks again guys Liam

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Fastrak for anyone thinking of getting their bike licence. Everything from the CBT through to the Mod 1 and 2 test preparation was carried out very professionally with safety being the highest priority. Just don’t mess up or you risk a noogie from Gus or a roasting from Pauline (both of which I deserved) . Thanks again for all your time and patience.

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say about Fastrak Motorcycle training… Would recommend the power team Pauline and Gus 100%. What a duo! superb knowledge and years of experience shines through, they can be harsh at times but let’s face it when learning you need to hear the good and bad! They both made the DAS course very enjoyable and they definitely believe in you (even when you don’t believe in yourself!) Passed both Mod 1 & Mod 2 first time. They both treat you like friends and it does feel like you’re out riding with very experienced friends that’s there to keep you right. And the banter is priceless!!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to my friend who recommended fastrac trio to me. I was not surprised to find friendly experienced riders who share there passion of bikes with you every time we met there were jokes/storys to put you at ease. I can honestly say even in nov/ Dec when tests are cancelled due to the weather Pauline had us booked back in as fast as possible. When I booked my CBT 27/03/23 i never thought I'd get my big licence i wanted to but the nerves of being responsible for me. Those nerves were quickly put to the side with fun and patience from Gus now I've had my MT125 from that week but I was busy or it was easier to jump on Colin's bike to go for longer rides (LAZY I Know). So when I booked my DAS course I should of had a lot more miles than I did. Gus is a patient personality with a come on old yin keep up at the ready. Pauline the next day is straight to the point but persistent which I needed and oh boy I did not make it easy as I don't know the area at all so I stayed on the cb500 to build my confidence I needed more time on the bike so a plan was made 3 extra days were booked and a fun practice ride with hippy John who switched character as soon as he goes through the gates to serious John this area is important its key to moving up during this I was convinced I'd done the right thing extra days meant big licence still a possibility with the comforting knowledge that an A2 limited licence was achievable. Well back to Gus who took me out again on the 500 then for the last hr I made it mt07 yess I was listening to all the instructions i was understanding all the verble comments from all instructors however putting it into practice was only going to come with repetition this is limited with a DAS course so don't be afraid to ask for extra time as they will tell you if you need it or not when my mod 1 was cancelled due to ice I panicked as I would not be on a bike for ten days but when I asked for an hour before and was reassured that I did not need it I was ready THANK YOU ALL. Fantastic experience: So never owned a bike, never ridden a bike until I signed up for CBT and DAS with Fastrak. Their training is fantastic, so patient but don't half kick your backside if you dont listen. This is bike training with an emphasis on safety. Yes they want you to pass but more importantly want you to be a safe rider. I was lucky (unlucky?) To be trained bt Pauline, Gus and John. All brilliant but beware Gus will threaten you with nuggies (not sure if that's the right spelling) when you make mistake that you shouldn't. Joking aside they are great, very supportive and even in a short space of time you soon think they are old friends. Thank you so much for all your support.
