Fantastic experience: This school is the BEST training you will find full stop. I was not easy to teach, but yet they stuck with me. I began my CBT with no bike experience and scared. They worked with me, made a plan to work through my struggles without hesitation. I'm a very short female, which made getting comfortable and confident on the bike difficult. But, they never gave up on me! It may have taken me longer than most, but I did it and that is all down to this school and its instructors. You will not regret choosing 121!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly of the service provided by 121. The whole team are fantastic to be around. The schedule for my full A license was well organised and instructed.The price of the course is more than reasonable, especially compared to other providers I considered. I would not have wished to have done this with anyone else. I have been made to feel so much more comfortable riding a bike. Fantastic experience: Want to pass your motorbike tests, go with 121. Just passed my MOD 2 and my MOD 1 & CBT and thought they were all brilliant at what they do, especially Mark. What I found really helped is their relationship with the testers & test centres and being able to practice beforehand on the exact course & roads you will take on your test. Even though it is challenging, it was fun and looked forward to lessons and getting out on the bike, even when it rained! Thank you so much. David

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I had a negative experience with a different riding school doing my CBT so I found 121 to finish my CBT and gain a full license. From the first session, the whole team has been incredible. I went from CBT to full license in less than 4 months with their help. Ian is an expert when it comes to bikes - he knows everything. Not only does he teach you how to pass your test, he teaches you how to ride safely in real life day to day situations. Rachel is an organisation wizard - from booking sessions and tests, to text reminders the day before every session so you don’t forget. Thank you so much to everyone at 121 - you’ve been amazing! :)

Fantastic experience: I went from CBT through direct access to full A license with 121 and these guys were great. Rachel was so good at organising everything and I got such supportive and helpful training from Mark and Ian and learned so much from their expertise. I’m a small-statured female rider and was confident on a 125cc but found the jump up to the weight of a 650cc a bit daunting and started to have crippling nerves creep in as I constantly worried I would lose balance and drop it. However, Mark and Ian came up with various ways to help me, both in terms of practical tips and techniques to improve control and make managing the bike easier especially as a smaller person, and also psychologically overcoming the dip in confidence I had on the bigger bike. I’m now so excited to buy my first big bike and so grateful to these guys for getting me here!

Fantastic experience: 101% best training school around this area. Very experienced and also very nice welcoming people. I started my das course at another training school and didn’t feel very happy with the way I was spoken too etc. I passed my mod 1 and got away from there. Got in contact with 1-2-1 and from the moment I first walked in for my assessment it was a very friendly and welcoming environment. After an assessment and a 4 hour lesson my mod 2 was booked instantly one week later I’m passed with 0 faults, all thanks to the best really appreciate you guys. Thankyou so so much

Fantastic experience: I just finished my training with 121 Motorbike Training, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride! Ian is like the Yoda of motorbikes, wise and slightly mysterious. Rachel is the behind-the-scenes magician who keeps everything from crashing (literally). Mike and Mark? They’re like the dynamic duo of biking—one’s Batman, the other’s Robin, but you never know which is which. If you want to learn to ride and have a laugh doing it, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Having already completed my CBT and MOD1 elsewhere, I came to 121 when the school I was originally using decided they could no longer be bothered to arrange my MOD2 for me despite me paying them for their full 'DAS package'. After a 30 min session with Ian to gauge where my skill level was, a training plan was put in place to get me ready for MOD2. 8hrs of additional training later I passed my MOD2 first time! Ian is a fantastic instructor who will not only teach you how to ride a bike, but also how to be safer on the road, and how to spot potential danger and deal with it properly. Rachel is absolutely on the ball when it comes to booking sessions and tests and she answered all my questions about test booking without hesitation. Both of you are an absolute credit to the motorcycling community and thanks to you, I'm very much looking forward to many miles of happy riding! If you're thinking about learning to ride, this is the place to come - don't make the same mistake I did and use a different school first. 121 are absolutely top tier and thoroughly deserve all the high praise they get!

Fantastic experience: You will go a long way to find a better training school than 121 motorcycle training. From CBT through MOD1 and MOD2, Ian and Rachel sort you out with a 'direct' and 'real world' training style to get you through. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my full A licence today, first time. Ian’s training style is very ‘real world’ so about keeping yourself safe on the road as well as passing your test, whilst having some fun along the way. Rachel is likewise on the ball with all the admin and keeping you informed of next steps etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 121 to anyone.

One trainee hadn’t ridden a geared bike before and I was stunned how well they had her riding by the end on the day. Having not ridden motorbikes on the road before, doing my full category A license was a daunting prospect. Fantastic experience: What can I say that hasn't already been said. If you are looking for 1st class instruction from passionate people Then look no further. I felt very nervous at the start of my CBT but the whole team at 121 are confidence inspiring. Rachel took me out on my first road ride, it was very reassuring knowing she was there talking me through it. I then went on to do my DAS. Ian got me up to speed very quickly taking me from a 125cc onto the larger bike within no time at all. Ian's on the bike training is very engaging, He really gets you thinking about the whole process of riding and riding Safely. I am pleased to say I passed both my Mod 1 and 2 first time however, this isn't  where my journey will end as I plan to come back for some advanced lessons with Ian. Thank you Ian, Thank you Rachel. Fantastic experience: I can't thank Rachel and Ian enough for getting myself and my son through our CBTs. We definitely made the right choice booking with them. From the word go they were amazing. They are both so knowledgeable and friendly, they made us both feel relaxed and comfortable straight away. My son had no road experience and was quite nervous but they made him feel at ease and he loved every minute of it. We would highly recommend them and will be back to buy some gear in their well stocked shop and maybe even our first moped!

Ian is the best instructor you can have to get on a motorcycle, as he teaches you how to ride safely and effectively. Fantastic experience: Just done CBT and full licence with the guys at 121 Motorbike Training in Exning. Start to finish they were brilliant full of encouragement and support and good humour! I’d consider it very good value for money as I really enjoyed the whole process from the CBT day through to the Mod 2 test. I learnt so much along the way and am now ready to buy my first big bike. Fantastic experience: I have just spent the day with the 121 team completing my CBT. I would thoroughly recommend them. There training is excellent , explanations are clear and they spend time with each of you for that 1 to 1 training. I felt like I was in safe hands at all times. Fantastic experience: I began my motorcycle journey back in February 2022, starting with my CBT. Rachel, Ian, Mark and the rest of the team where really great and gave me the confidence to get through the CBT first time - having never rode a motorbike in my life! After that positive experience, I decided to stick with them, and after completing my theory and hazard perception, went on to take and pass both my Mod1 and Mod2 tests, giving me my full license. During the CBT training everyone had been very relaxed and friendly, so I was a little daunted when during my first ride out on the larger bike things moved away from the previous friendly approach. However, what soon became clear was that this was being done in my own interests. Don't misunderstand - both Mark and Ian were always as friendly off-road but whilst on the bike, it was their job to help keep me safe and alive - not just during the lesson but long after I had left them to take to the road alone. As soon as I understood that approach - all was great! As other reviews have stated, both Mark and Ian have a wicked sense of humour and put this to good use in order to make you feel relaxed during the lesson. They were always happy to take time to answer my questions no matter how daft nor how many times they will have been asked the very same question by other pupils. 121 also has a good range of clothing and accessories in stock, and if there is something not quite your size or not available, Rachel does a sterling job of quickly getting the items ordered for you. I kitted myself out pretty much exclusively from their range of clothes and was very happy with the prices paid. I will use them again to buy anything else I need as their premises are very conveniently located near to where I live - and its good to see what you're purchasing at first hand, rather than just seeing a picture of something on a remote website. If you are looking to take your first step into the world of motorcycling or just need to brush up on your existing skills, I would not hesitate to recommend 121 Motorbike Training in Exning - they're a great bunch, and you won't regret your choice of training school

Fantastic experience: Just got my A license, passed Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time with these guys. They pick up on minor errors of your riding you barely even notice and will have you riding above par for the tests, but more importantly, they teach you riding details beyond the test as well so you can be at your safest out on the roads. Wouldn't go with anyone else when it comes to motorbikes

Fantastic experience: I came here to do my 125cc cbt, and honestly considering I was pretty damn nervous about it I couldn’t of had a more comfortable experience. Everyone there was so lovely and supportive, which really brought my nerves down and made it easier to take in the training, which was extremely well taught and clear. I went from having absolutely no knowledge on scooters or bikes to passing the cbt. I couldn’t recommend doing your training here more! You’ll have a laugh aswell for sure

Not only was my son's CBT tests thorough and not rushed but tailored to individual personal needs. We also purchased the bike through them and recieve excellent back up support from them.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely would recommend 121. The team are all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was already a nervous wreck going into my 1st CBT but then I had an accident and it really knocked my confidence. Not only did they go above and beyond to book me in asap, but the whole team made me feel so relaxed at my next CBT and I managed to pass! Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Ian, Mark & Rachel enough, great bunch, Patient and informative, fricken fantastic sense of humour which makes the learning experience easier, Ian says it exactly how it is, no beating round the bush and that’s how I’d expect treated if I done anything deemed unsafe, on the road I felt safe with these guys. I had no bike experience before learning and now have my full license first time pass on both modules. Hope to you see you all again soon x

Fantastic experience: Completed my CBT with 121 today and Can't speak Highly enough! Completely take any stress away from the day, very encouraging and all incredible teachers. Did my on-road with Russell and he was an absolute legend, full of amazing information and advice, the whole day was just so fun and feel I have been given the tools to be safe on the road. Fantastic experience: CBT passed! A day filled with crazy people but truly enjoyable experience. Went on and booked my full A licence and passed it first time around. Fantastic experience: Had an excellent day doing my CBT course with 121. They collected me and dropped me off from Newmarket train station like it was no trouble. From the moment I arrived they seemed very friendly and organised. The whole course was around 9am-5pm with time in between sections for a quick break. They give a great amount of theory and practical experience and they really try to emphasise that the point of the course isn't just to 'pass a test' but to be actually safe on the road. It was my first time ever riding a motorbike and I'm so glad I picked them. The off road part of the course is enough to make you feel comfortable on the bike and the on road part is so much fun and makes you realise how all the training fits in. When on road we were in groups of 1-2s with an instructor who told us what to do through an earpiece. Making mistakes is okay and they just try to help you correct what you did wrong. All in all a concise, fun and relaxing day on learning how to ride a bike!

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend it for everyone who wants to do a CBT, or wants to buy stuffs. Very friendly and good team, really looking out for you and teach you well how to ride a bike.

Fantastic experience: Did my manual CBT with 121 last Saturday. Everyone at the school are genuinely warm and friendly. Good equipment was provided for the training also. The tuition itself is top notch. The instructors are very patient and plenty of useful tips are passed on in addition to the standard training. Shoutouts to Mark, Russell, Daniel, Rachel, Gabby and Bailey the dog!

Fantastic experience: Had the cbt with them today,omg what a family they’ve got over there.All professional instructors and in the same time very funny and attentive! They really know what they doing.I can tell i am more happy than tired now.Even if you don’t think yet to have a test and had just the idea of it pop in and have a look around they have a shop as well!!! Fantastic experience: I did my cbt and had a great experience with them. I have just finished my unrestricted A licence with them and had a great time doing it with them. I have passed both the mod1 and mod2 first time thanks to there training. I can't recommend them highly enough everyone there was friendly and helpful. If you are looking to do any Motorbike training you should go with them.

Fantastic experience: well what can i say six month ago i said i done my CBT renewal and said i would come back to do my A license. well today with 121 i had passed and got my license thanks to ian rachel and mark cant fault them for there teaching advice and help. would recommend them 100 percent thank you again guys

Fantastic experience: I booked in with 121 to do my CBT with no previous knowledge of the company and no extensive research. It was my first time riding a 125 and was extremely nervous, I didn’t need to be. From start to finish I was put at ease. I was even late as the dog ran off with my driving license (true story) and they were very understanding. All of the staff were exceedingly knowledgeable, friendly and gave me the time I needed to be able to safely take to the road. I can’t recommend this amazing bunch highly enough. They also have a brilliant selection of bikes and equipment including clothing at great prices. If you’re in two minds about booking with them, just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Ian, Rachel and team are great! They take the time and tailor the instruction needed to the right level and pace for each person and offer lots of encouragement. My husband and I have both gone through from never having ridden before to doing our CBT and full test. Highly recomended.

Fantastic experience: Amazing attitude from all the staff, who inspired confidence throughout my training from CBT to DAS. Training was delivered at a pace where I never felt out of my depth while always pushing me towards being a safer more capable rider. 100% would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Thank you 121 you are all amazing and brilliant! 12 months ago I had a terrible experience at a Cambridge based school which nearly put me off learning. I contacted Rachel at 121 and she was brilliant from the onset. The whole team are skilled, patient, and very knowledgeable. I was nervous, but almost instantly I was made to feel welcome and most importantly, like I was in really safe hands. I passed my CBT with 121, and will be using 121 for my full license. Thank you everyone at 121.

Fantastic experience: The trainers are so patient and encouraging. I started the day with absolutely no knowledge of riding a motorbike to being able to ride safely down a busy high street and doing 60mph on a long straight by the end of the day. I'm in my sixties, so I feel that I have really accomplished something I've been thinking about for years. Definitely recommend this training school for even a real beginner like myself.

Fantastic experience: I have done 3 CBT renewals with the team at 121 and omg they are amazing! they make you feel calm and relaxed, you can have a laugh and a joke with them. It is certainly better then other places I can say that for sure. No matter what experience you have they help you every step of the way. Definitely recommend 121 for anything bike training related. Just passed my A license with the help from Rachel, Ian and the team especially Mark who managed to get this bag of nerves a full bike license he is very informative and ensures you are a safe rider going forward.

Fantastic experience: Had a great day at 121 , being 58 and wanting to drive a Harley for as long as I can remember, I went to 121 in Exning and found them fantastic, CBT done, onwards and upwards, soon I can tick another one off my bucket list.
