Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic would recommend time and time again to everyone: strangers, friends, family… Helped me go from never riding a bike apart from my CBT course with someone else, to being a confident rider holding a full liscence and they gave me a cracking deal on my first motorbike too. Couldn’t of asked for a more friendly and knowledgable bunch. Cheers Ace

Fantastic experience: Ace were recommended to me by two experienced riders. I’m 61 and my only riding experience prior to this journey was an automatic scooter in Greece when I was a teenager. Notwithstanding that much earlier experience I signed up for the full DAS to an unrestricted Cat A, beginning with my CBT at the end of July. All of my instructors at Ace have been very very good. Showing patience, always encouraging, recognising the weak spots (I had many) and working diligently on them. Never making me feel rushed at any time. Feed back was always thorough and comprehensive. Humour was always a part of the lessons as well as making serious points. At my CBT I didn’t take to it like a duck to water at all as I’d hoped I would. But not to worry - after passing that on the first day (on a moped) through the training given I had a couple of gear conversion lessons which were included for me because I’d signed up to the DAS. Ace found me a cheap 125 and delivered it to me. I spent a few weeks solo riding and then returned to Belmont to start my ‘big bike’ lessons. Once again I could not fault the instructors and found them all to be excellent. Always the right mix of tutoring and humour. Sometimes I got frustrated at my own lack of confidence and sometimes I got over confident. All of this was managed by them perfectly. MOD 1 first time. MOD 2 at the second attempt ( watch out for those pesky 20 zones and how far behind you the examiner is - heart sinking to see him soooo far behind lol). But we learn from our mistakes don’t we. And this one was all on me. Successively completing the DAS and getting my unrestricted license is all on Ace and their thorough training. If you’re ‘of an age’ and looking for the next challenge then this is it and Ace are the people to take you on that journey 100% - you won’t regret it.
