Fantastic experience: Ace were recommended to me by two experienced riders. I’m 61 and my only riding experience prior to this journey was an automatic scooter in Greece when I was a teenager. Notwithstanding that much earlier experience I signed up for the full DAS to an unrestricted Cat A, beginning with my CBT at the end of July. All of my instructors at Ace have been very very good. Showing patience, always encouraging, recognising the weak spots (I had many) and working diligently on them. Never making me feel rushed at any time. Feed back was always thorough and comprehensive. Humour was always a part of the lessons as well as making serious points. At my CBT I didn’t take to it like a duck to water at all as I’d hoped I would. But not to worry - after passing that on the first day (on a moped) through the training given I had a couple of gear conversion lessons which were included for me because I’d signed up to the DAS. Ace found me a cheap 125 and delivered it to me. I spent a few weeks solo riding and then returned to Belmont to start my ‘big bike’ lessons. Once again I could not fault the instructors and found them all to be excellent. Always the right mix of tutoring and humour. Sometimes I got frustrated at my own lack of confidence and sometimes I got over confident. All of this was managed by them perfectly. MOD 1 first time. MOD 2 at the second attempt ( watch out for those pesky 20 zones and how far behind you the examiner is - heart sinking to see him soooo far behind lol). But we learn from our mistakes don’t we. And this one was all on me. Successively completing the DAS and getting my unrestricted license is all on Ace and their thorough training. If you’re ‘of an age’ and looking for the next challenge then this is it and Ace are the people to take you on that journey 100% - you won’t regret it.

Had a great experience with Steve and taught our group very clearly from right at the start of the day how the bike turns on to the end of the day we knew all the road laws and could ride with ease. I would recommend for anyone wanting to do a CBT to do it here at ace.

John took us all through the theory thoroughly, with all practical elements demonstrated and discussed before completing them ourselves. Ensuring confidence when riding. All the staff are really friendly and accommodating, creating bespoke timelines for the trainees to guide them through to a full motorcycle licence. I cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic experience: They are great bunch of instructors and they won't let you go on the road until they 100% sure of you. It's taking me a little things harder that I thought would be Easy! And the hard things I find quite easy. However they are patient and have fun with the instructors

Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable and friendly people here. I wish i knew about this place before long long before. My Tracer MOT was done in 30 minutes while having my coffee. Insted of all that stupid nonsense from main dealers just come here. Save yourself money and time .and i promise they care about you and your bike more than main dealers because they are just staff in there and like 99% of the other retail staff they don't care about you or your bike. because of main dealer i have a alomost brand new Tiger 900 gt pro in my garage which i don't even know what to do woth it anymore. Thanks for today and anything for my motorbike it will be done by you... By the way I'm a Foreigner too and only things i saw today was respect so don't listen to other reviews

Fantastic experience: Having done my CBT with A1 in Newcastle, I wanted somewhere more local for my DAS training. These guys were outstanding from day 1. Great focus on how to be a safe rider and first class training. Passed my Mod 1 without issue and then failed my Mod 2 at the very end of my test for something silly! I rebooked but it was ages away (tests are booked out months in advance!). In-between, I found a cancellation that unfortunately, ACE couldn't accompany me on. I went elsewhere for the test and passed without a single fault but I credit this to ACE'S training! From CBT to full licence in the space of a few weekends over 2 months. Would highly recommend.

At the start of my CBT I was absolutely hopeless, obviously we don’t expect miracles from complete beginners, but I just couldn’t get the hang of it. Adi was patient, professional, and understanding, as well as a good laugh. He kept me calm and got me through it, even through some difficult mistakes. I will definitely come back here for my full licence, and I highly recommend them. The other staff were also exceptionally friendly and I felt very welcome. Thank you Adi and everyone else at the store.

Fantastic experience: Purchased a new mash 500 400 and after 30 odd years have now started a new journey at 66 years young. The refresher course really helped put me back on road with more confidence so now after 600 miles 1st service due and still on the journey.

Fantastic experience: Did my CBT with Ace and would honestly say Ace by name Ace by nature. What a great bunch of people, really friendly, relaxed, very knowledgeable, took their time when explaining the rules of the road and requirements for motorcyclists and made sure everyone was happy with what they were being taught, shown or doing before moving on. As a group of 4 we had Tom and Kelly to do the practical off road riding then after lunch it was myself and one other with Kelly for the on road bit. Kelly made sure we were happy with what was planned, set up the intercom and we were off. We drove around the Keynsham area did the hill start, U turns and emergency stops then off again. Kelly was providing commentary, advice and pointers the entire time, she was really reassuring and so calm and natural I should think even the most nervous of riders would feel very much supported and that they were in very safe hands. By the end of the day my confidence levels were up there, along with all the safety training, advice and tips fully lodged in my mind, so much so that I had a quick introduction to the bigger bikes used in Mod 1 & 2 which went really well, so now I’ll be looking to get my full licence done ASAP as my dormant “bike bug” is now wide awake and buzzing, so think I’m gonna be a regular visitor to Ace in the coming months.
