Ian Leaver - Salisbury School of Motoring

Fantastic experience: Ian got me through my test after falling foul of a number of poor instructors back in 2008. He was patient and consistent. Got me my licence but also set me up with good habits that have served me well. I've never had a crash. Glad he's still teaching in salisbury.

Fantastic experience: Ian is a perfect instructor that anyone could ask for. He is very patient and thorough. He builds and improve your driving skills in a highly efficient way such as using dash cam videos to highlight your specific driving faults which improve your skills in planning and attention to road markings and other road users. Moreover, he is so organized and provides useful resources. He is very caring and I am so happy that I had my refresher lessons with him and I could pass my test confidently, in a quickest time possible.

Fantastic experience: Ian is excellent. He taught my son to drive in considerably less time than we expected - and at much less cost. We hope he will teach our daughter too when she is ready.

Fantastic experience: Charlotte Thomas frequently failed to attend driving lessons and after several polite reminders I decided to stop teaching Charlotte. All pre paid moneys were refunded as was an extra payment later paid to me by mistake instead of to her new instructor. Charlotte had made good progress with me during her few lessons she attended and we ended, at first anyway, on friendly terms although later I did receive a non too polite message when I declined to restart lessons with her. I make no apologies for charging £27/hr which my current pupils are happy to pay and are all happy with the service they receive. I point out to all my pupils that occasionally my speech is not always crystal clear and am always happy to repeat my comments (following a serious car crash in 1989 I attended a long speech therapy cause to improve my dialect) I wished Charlotte good luck with her future driving and I'm sorry she felt it necessary to write such comments.

Negative experience: doesn't speak clearly ! gets appointment' times and dates wrong . chargers way over the standard 25 pound . I advice you not to drive with this instructor . my experience has been awful.
