Fantastic experience: Amazing! Phil was very helpful with my lessons and gave me lots of confidence on the roads around Coventry, in the end I passed with only 1 minor, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Phill is an amazing instructor! I was recommended him by my dad & stepmum (who were also taught and passed with Phill) When I started having lessons I was very nervous but Phill was brilliant with making me feel at ease at all times. He has brilliant ways of explaining things & covers every aspect of driving! Phill is so calm and patient and it made driving feel like a breeze. I passed yesterday with 3 minors and I couldn’t have done it without Phill. I’d definitely recommend Phill. Thankyou again for all your time and help!☺️

Fantastic experience: I passed first time learning with Phill. We had a perfect balance of learning whilst also having a laugh. He checked in at the start of every lesson to see what I felt I needed to work on, and wrote it down so we could keep track of what we’ve done, which was very helpful. Fantastic experience: Phill is the best instructor you will find in Coventry, I have had previous instructors but none compared. Phill is so patient and his teaching methods are incredible. With his help I managed to pass first time, with only having 12 lessons with him! He really is the best, I can not recommend him enough. Thank you Phill!

Negative experience: I finally passed my test with another instructor though. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with what I 'learned' with Phill Godridge Driving School. He was very expensive, patronising and very impatient. It took us 3 months to start learning manoeuvres and it was done only because I was asking for it. Also throughout the course of probably about 40h, I was on dual carriageways 3 times. *Edit, response to the owner's comment: I don't think it's a 'slow rate of learning'. Bear in mind I have moved cities and had to start afresh and one of the instructors I had, died of cancer. The instructor that got me through my test was quite surprised that I didn't have basic skills, after learning for nearly 40h with you. In relation to pricing, you said it's £25, yes it was if I booked a block of 10. If I paid for an individual lesson, it was £27/ hour. I think your response is unprofessional and speaks volumes of your attitude, don't you think?

Fantastic experience: Im the type of person that never thought I would ever pass my test but Phil really does take the time for each individual person and thinks of ways that they would understand. Even went out of his way when my test got cancelled and they rescheduled it for a time he don't work but he still got me there. Overall the best instructor.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently learning with Phill after a 20 year gap! I'm a 48 year old hormonal woman and Phill has the patience of a saint. His techniques for learning manoeuvres are clear and concise. I wish I'd learned with him years ago! He's also teaching my son so it's a race to the test centre! !

Fantastic experience: Phil Godridge is an excellent instructor helped me and the other half pass our tests. He is very patient and easy going. Phil is very easy to talk to and deals with all his learners Individually. He even offers extra help through books and his website with detailed descriptions of roundabouts and manouvers.

Negative experience: Would not recommend, very awkward and impatient.
