Fantastic experience: Jonny was an amazing instructor. Learning to drive felt like a huge hurdle after having taken a big break from lessons due to anxiety. Jonny creates such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the car, which really helped me to stay calm. He takes time to chat to you and get to know you, and makes lessons fun. I started looking forward to driving lessons rather than getting anxious like I previously had. I highly recommend Jonny if you're an anxious learner, he’ll help you gain the confidence needed to pass.

Fantastic experience: Jonny has been the best Driving Instructor anyone could ever ask for! He really helped us out at short notice when we were let down and totally committed to getting Louis over the line as quickly as possible. We especially needed it because of the amount of daily travel that we have to do to get Louis to his apprenticeship. Jonny bent over backwards to accommodate us every week at short notice with unusual hours and really understood the need for urgency to try and help Louis get his license. He was patient and easy to talk to and a real testament to a what a great Driving Instructor should be. I would happily recommend him, but he doesn’t need recommendations because he’s doing very well just delivering the goods!

Fantastic experience: Jonny is a fantastic instructor, highly competent as a teacher and very insightful for overall car usage and maintenance. Before my first lesson communication was very easy and reassuring. From the first lesson until test, Jonny was always prompt, respectful, knowledgeable and open to work with me around changes in schedule or personal situations arising. Fantastic experience: Jonny is a really insightful instructor. He provides great knowledge regarding not only driving but also maintenance and general car knowledge, which is really useful for 1st-time drivers. He is patient and talks you through everything (even if you need it multiple times!). He can pick up when you are feeling anxious/nervous and help with finding a way to make you feel more relaxed while driving. I could not recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I passed my driving test on first attempt. All thanks to Johnny who was such a patient and intuitive teacher. I had an accident when I was younger, so I was already anxious about being in a vehicle again, he explained everything to me from road signs, attitudes on the road, maneuvers and most importantly roundabouts. Johnny did not just teach me to pass my driving test, he thought me skills I would need when I’m on the road on my own. Johnny literally knows all the road signs in England and Wales lol, he thought me how to read road markings, direction signs and how to spot hazards and respond safely on the road. He’s very reliable and was willing to work with me regarding scheduling. It was easy to work with him and the most important thing he thought me was how to always drive ‘safely’ on the road.

Fantastic experience: Before starting lessons with Jonny I honestly thought I was a lost cause when it came to driving. I always dreaded lessons with past instructors as I was just so anxious. However, Jonny gave me confidence when it came to driving, and he is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I always learned a lot on lessons and we'd have a good laugh, too. I never once dreaded the lessons like with previous instructors, and came to really enjoy them, which I never thought would happen. I passed today and I wouldn't have done it without the knowledge, support, and encouragement I was given. Jonny actually teaches you how to drive well as opposed to just teaching for the test. I definitely recommend JG Drive, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: Jonny helped get me and my partner to pass our driving tests first time! Jonny takes time to get to know you as a person which helps when it comes to your leasons. He is dedicated to his work and takes pride in his work all the time. I used to give up and get angry but jonny was always there to get me feeling positive and getting me back on top. Fantastic experience: When I first started with Jonny I had been suffering from anxiety black outs during driving lessons. Fortunately with Jonnys help they soon went away! Some of my friends who have learnt with other instructors struggle with having music on or having a good chat while driving, but thanks to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that Jonny created it has never been a problem for me. His style of teaching helped me to stay focused even while enjoying animated conversations. Also instead of driving for the sake of learning, Jonny would pick a destination. This helped me feel a sense of achievement in every lesson! I would recommend Jonny for anyone who wants to learn to drive manual or automatic and have a laugh at the same time.

Fantastic experience: Firstly a huge thank you to Jonny for getting me through my test and the support given along the way. From the start of the lessons Jonny was patient, friendly and tailored the teaching to suit me and move at my own pace. He made the driving feel natural and would always make conversation to walk me through, step by step, what I would need to do in each situation. The great thing was that Jonny taught you how to drive and not just to pass your test so you would be ready for any situation and after driving for a couple of weeks on my own I still feel very confident in my driving ability. Jonny was my first and only instructor and would highly recommend him for anyone looking at taking lessons.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I'd like to say an other massive thankyou to Jonny for all his help and support while teaching me to drive! From my very first lesson Jonny was a very approachable person and easy to get a long with. He takes every lesson at the pupils pace and tailors the lessons to how the individual learns and understands. If you're struggling to get to grips with something Jonny will take the time to find a way that you understand whether this be through educational video clips, or Jonny physically taking you through something step by step. Each lesson is also tailored to what the pupil wants to do, due to reflective logs at the end of each session reflecting what the pupil feels they want to progress further on. If you're looking for an instructor that can teach you to drive but also have a laugh at the same time in a relaxed environment, Jonny is your man! I will genuinely miss my weekly therapy sessions and the laughs we had! Thanks again for everything Jonny!

Fantastic experience: Jonny is a great instructor who you can get along with really well. Puts your mind to ease from the start to have a safe drive. I've really enjoyed learning to drive with jonny, even when he has to be a hard ass because I wasn't listening or watching what the road was telling me. He's easy to talk to and approach if you are not sure on anything too, and very straight to the point, which is what most people need sometimes. Would definitely recommend jonny as an instructor because he gets down to the work, doesn't push you to do anything you are not comfortable with and you can have plenty of banter! If you're looking for an instructor who pushes you to do well, makes you feel comfortable and someone you can have a laugh with. Jonny is your man!
