Negative experience: It’s been a good few years now so not that Laura will remember me … I had a really negative experience with this instructor a few years ago. I was 19 and already quite anxious about learning to drive, but instead of helping me build confidence, she made things much worse. She screamed at me during lessons, was extremely patronising, and made me feel completely uncomfortable in the car. I remember being told not to come back for another lesson until I’d passed my theory, which felt unnecessarily harsh and discouraging. Her approach left me feeling like I wasn’t capable of learning, and it gave me such bad anxiety that I ended up putting off driving for years. I finally passed both theory and practical first time at 23, with a much kinder and more understanding instructor who made me feel safe and supported. Learning to drive is such a big step, and no one should be made to feel embarrassed or belittled. I’m only writing this now because it’s taken me years to process and move past the experience. Also seeing her still out doing lessons with new potentially really nervous learners makes me feel frustrated

Fantastic experience: I started with Laura last year I had some experience from previous lessons, Laura was very patient and helpful, I passed my test 1st time and without her patience and help I wouldn’t have passed. Will miss our chats and laughs. Thank you Laura for being a brilliant instructor will definitely keep recommending you

Negative experience: I don't recommend Laura as a driving instructor. I must say that in the first class with her, she gave me valuable input about my driving, and even though I noticed she was impatient, I decided to continue. BAD idea. She was not only impatient but condescending, shouted at me, responded questions sarcastically, and was not punctual. I decided to take a brake to regain some confidence and find an instructor who had patience with nervous drivers. Fortunately, I found one who helped me pass the test on my first try and was professional!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I was a very nervous driver and laura easily put me at ease and I gained the confidence I needed and have passed my test. I couldn't of done it without all the support this lovely lady has given me I will definitely be recommending to friends & family

Fantastic experience: Laura took me on as one of her students after i was previously with a different driving instructor who completely knocked my confidence. my first lesson with her was a get to know each other lesson along with getting to know the car and i soon built my confidence back up after a few lessons. she was amazing and suited my needs each lesson of where i needed to be picked up, (sixth form, home…). she was really patient with me and building up to my test it was my personal choice on what i wanted to do. she has full dedication into helping us to learn how to drive and im so thankful that i had her as my driving instructor because she couldn’t have been better

Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed with Laura from LA driving school, under her expert tuition it has taken just 3 months for my son to pass his driving test. It has been an easy process to book lessons and pay for them. Laura has been prompt and communicative, she booked the driving test slot so no long wait for a test. All in all a very positive experience for my son and myself. I would highly recommend LA driving school to anybody that asks.

Fantastic experience: Laura is very professional and patient. Each lesson is totally different, tailored to each pupil, LA challenges you, improving your driving with every lesson. Completely abolished my roundabout phobia, after having 2 previous instructors and having no confidence, Laura helped me pass my automatic test 2nd time around, highly recommend LA to anyone.
