Fantastic experience: I recently passed with Andy first time and I cannot recommend him any more if I tried I want to say a massive thank you to Andy as he was very nice throughout my driving experience with him and a very good instructor!!

Fantastic experience: I learned how to drive with Andy over 6 months, with no other driving practice besides his lessons. I can’t recommend him enough - he’s an experienced instructor that doesn’t just teach you to drive to pass an exam, but to be safe and be able to drive anywhere under any circumstances while keeping yourself and your family safe. He helped me pass first try and knew how to push me and fine-tune all the details so good driving habits become muscle memory. 10 days after passing my driving test, I did my longest drive alone for an hour, and I was perfectly calm and safe because of how well Andy has taught me. I made a great choice going with Amber Driving for my learning.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my driving test with Amber Driving Instruction, with Andy as my instructor. I cannot recommend him enough. Driving did NOT come naturally to me, but Andy never gave up on me; he really believes in his students and is prepared to try many different approaches to help you 'get' it. His communication is excellent and he will go above and beyond for you. He very kindly was able to fit me back in for lessons after I had to stop for a period, and was determined to get me through, for which I am very grateful. In sum, I recommend him without hesitation if you're looking to learn to drive in the St Neots area. Now that I am driving independently, I feel confident and in control: a testament to how well Andy has taught me these past months. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My partner recommended Andy as a driving instructor and I can honestly say it’s been the best decision I have ever made. Having made several attempts at learning to drive before I was skeptical to say the least, however after my first lesson where me and Andy had an honest and thorough conversation about my abilities I became inspired to give it another go. Immediately it was apparent that Andy really knew his craft and any anxieties I had about driving or facing a test were immediately put to rest. Over the next few months I progressively became more confident in my abilities to successfully pass my driving test. The details of the lessons was incredible and Andy’s ability to remember the specific nuances that I had developed whilst in the car was amazing. At the start and end of every lesson we would have a brief recap of the successes and areas for improvement. I was given revision notes that I could consume outside of our lessons. I would recommend him for my own family.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Amber driving school by several people and after my 1st lesson it was very clear that i would be taught to the highest standards and this filled me with great confidence on my learning to drive journey. Throughout all of my lessons Andy has been professional, thoughtful, punctual, and very informative. He has also been extremely supportive and his communication was excellent. On my test day Andy was probably equally as nervous as me, not because he had any doubts on my ability to drive/pass but because he genuinley cares about whether you pass or fail. No doubt about it, he is a fantastic instructor. Thank you so much for your help and endless support in getting my licence. With your guidance and patience you taught me the skills to become a safe driver. Thank you Andy for giving me the confidence to drive and for helping me to overcome my nervousness!

Fantastic experience: Excellent from start to finish – highly recommend Andy is a great experienced instructor and I passed first time with only 2 minors. He was always reliable, punctual and communication of lesson arrangements was always excellent. Andy’s friendly approach, teaching style and lesson content adapted to how I was doing and made the experience of learning stress free. He knows his stuff and is up-to-date with the changing rules. He was really supportive and encouraging, with helpful tips and feedback.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school around, I am a very nervous driver and Andy had the patience of a saint with me would 100 % recommend Amber such a lovely family run business they go above and beyond to help you past your test.

Fantastic experience: Super Impressed with Amber Driving, the instructors are very patient and friendly, you can really tell they take an interest personally into whether you pass or fail. Would defiantly recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in Amber driving school. I paid for my daughter to have 4 lessons at £70 each. At the end of the 4th she was told that “driving wasn’t for her at this time” and advised to find a different instructor. Obviously this was a massive knock to her confidence. We have since started with a new instructor who let her drive from Huntingdon to Buckden on her first lesson and advised her that 4-6 hours a week would result in her being test ready in 2/3 months!!! Very upset that I wasn’t contacted by Amber after paying for the lessons and being the point of contact
