Fantastic experience: This may differ slightly from many reviews, in that is is about my partner, an elder learner who’s first language is not English (although you may not realise when talking to her). A driver in her native country, but not in the UK – her confidence having been shaken badly many years ago when she first immigrated. With the pair of us approaching advancing years, but liking to get out and about, it makes good sense for us both to be mobile so that neither has to be wholly dependant on the other, and the conversation once opened, my partner started seeing many more advantages being mobile and independent could bring. However, seeing advantages is not taking the step outside the door, it is not getting into a car to drive. The wonderful woman, whom I know as being confident and positive, was clearly suffering from high apprehension and nerves. “If I try it and don’t like it, I’m not doing it again!” was a regular mantra that morning, as I did my best to reassure while we waited for her first lesson. Even I who have 100% confidence and belief in my other-half, didn’t completely know how that first lesson was going to play out. If I can borrow a couple of Winnie the Pooh references, she left the house like Eeyore and returned like Tigger. The change in one lesson was remarkable! Whatever demons had been there were vanquished by Tony, his clam, understand, and supportive manor had clearly won out! I cannot thank him enough for the confidence that was returned to my loved one that day. Fast-forward a few months, and I was fortunate enough to witness Tony in action. The day of her test, and my partner wanted me to come alone to the Test Centre with her for a little extra support. Of course, this meant sitting quietly in the back of the car during her pre-test lesson. Here I witnessed first-hand the care, support, understanding, and guidance Tony gives and is renowned for. She passed her test that day; but I know even she hadn’t, Tony’s support and guidance would still have been there. Thank you Tony Harding, an unreserved recommendation. With the belief that whatever worries, whatever obstacles may have been experienced in the past, for all drivers, Tony’s Driving School is one of the very best.

Fantastic experience: Tony was brilliant. Driving did not come ‘naturally’ to me, but tony was so patient and made sure I understood everything. He is very accommodating and you can really tell that he loves what he does. I managed to pass my test with 4 minors thanks to Tony’s driving school!!

Fantastic experience: Tony is an exceptional driving instructor. His updates and app monitoring keep the student and parents up to date on progress. My son liked Tony very much and enjoyed his company, respecting his advice. My son started with another instructor and Tony picked up the pieces. Tony is expensive - but you get what you pay for and he offers multi lesson deals that are more competitive. My son learnt to drive in about 9 months.

Fantastic experience: Lewis Cobley, Had a great time with Tony, was always a treat to be in the car with him, easiest guy to get along with, it was always a nice experience and you feel so much better at the end of each lesson when you can really tell that you're making real progress. Great at explaining stuff and adapting when I'm struggling to understand to help me understand quicker and easier. Would 100% recommend, definitely worth the time and money. I felt like I learned so much more from the 20~ hours I had with Tony than the 40 hours I had spent elsewhere. Thanks again!
