Fantastic experience: Sam was an amazing instructor taking me to test and allowing me to pass on my first attempt.

Fantastic experience: Sam is an amazing instructor, I found driving quite a challenge initially and it didn’t come very naturally but Sam was a great help and very patient, I’ve since passed my test and am so grateful to her for her amazing teaching, couldn’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Sam is a lovely person and an amazing teacher, from my first lesson she made me feel comfortable in the car and learning the basics, I got up to speed with driving very quickly with her and without her I wouldn’t be a confident driver at all. Driving lessons can be expensive but at least with sam they are efficient! Every lesson we either learnt a new test route, refined all the little mistakes I make, or do a mock test ready for the real thing. She’s very cheerful and helps calm the nerves with small talk but won’t let that interfere with my learning. Once again she’s an amazing teacher and she got me to pass my test so that’s all I can say really, don’t need much more proof of her being excellent than that lol

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Sam enough!!!. From the moment I started with Sam she put me at ease from start to finish, I suffer from Anxiety and every time I got in the car Sam was supportive, caring and kind. Each Lesson was thought out very careful to get the best out of me and Where I can improve. The more I drove with Sam I felt more confident. She taught me all the skills I needed and if I was unsure would explain till I understood. Sam is a very professional instructor and worth every penny to help me pass my test. I will miss our lesson

Fantastic experience: I booked an intensive driving course with a national company. Ten days before my test the company said they didn’t have an instructor for me. This left me with a test but no instructor and no lessons!!! I was desperate and called Sam. Sam pulled out all the stops,giving me lessons early mornings and late nights even on Sunday ( her day off) .. she gave me help,encouragement and confidence I needed… I passed my driving test first time with only 2 minor driving faults. I can’t thank Sam enough, I wouldn’t of been able to have done it without her help. Amazing Instructor and I would highly recommend her

Fantastic experience: I Just thought I’d leave a little review for Sam as I have just past my driving test with her (1st Sept). Sam has been fantastic throughout the whole learning experience. She has turned up for my lessons on time and if there were any issues, Sam would let me know as soon as she could. I felt like I was in safe hands and the instructions through her teaching were always calm, clear and concise. Each week we followed test routes to gain familiarity and build up the skills needed to pass the test. I would 100% recommend Sam to anyone who is learning to drive because of the reasons given. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Sam enough!! The best driving instructor you will find, especially if you are looking for a professional and relaxed learning atmosphere. I was able to improve my driving skills within a short period of time and really felt like I got my money’s worth every lesson. Originally I was concerned about the unpredictability of driving tests, however I felt prepared and confident, due to the structure of sessions and the advice given by Sam. Each session focuses on a mixture of manoeuvres, test routes and improving specific individual weaknesses. This enabled me to strengthen skills for each aspect of the assessment, as well as prepare me to become a better driver overall. In terms of the teaching, Sam was kind and patient, but most importantly was able to reword or explain something in a way that you can understand. Thank you again Sam, I’m going to miss our weekly lessons and your positivity!

Fantastic experience: Sam is the most wonderful driving instructor...the best you’ll find in Cornwall ! She is patient and relaxed and there was always a really fun yet professional atmosphere. My Lessons felt comfortable and I was able to progress at my own pace with her encouragement. she helped me pass my test first time and has made me a really confident driver. I really miss our lessons ! I can not recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: Sam is an amazing instructor, who really put me at ease. I came back to learning to drive in my forties and was really anxious about it. Sam was patient and made the lessons fun and relaxed. I passed first time and it has made such a difference to my life. Thank you Sam.

Fantastic experience: Yes she does chat to you, as she is so nice and friendly but so do all the other instructors, it would drive me insane to be in silence for 2 hours, but I'm sure if you have difficulties to focus you could explain it to her and she would leave the chatting aside. Despite our lovely talks she is still super focused on the road and countless times she would be in the middle of saying or hearing a story and just had to interrupt to make a correction or to avoid a mistake, to avoid an accident, etc. As her first priotity is road safety not chatting! She did it to me countless times, wearing whatever clothing and footwear she was wearing she IS A GREAT, experienced and safe driver and instructor as well as a very elegant lady. Also I think she focuses on test routes because that's most people's main goal, to get prepared for the test. I'm sure if you tell her "I don't care about the test I just wanna learn to drive" she won't necessarily take you there. But be aware that test routes are routes that were specifically chosen for containing various types of challenging situations. So if you are capable of passing the test that means you are capable of driving with a certain level safety and skill... and then you can perfect it with time and driving experience. If Sam's ways were unsafe she would be having lots of accidents all the time which obviously she isn't, so get over yourself. I dicthed a former instructor, Sam took me in as her pupil and I've proudly passed my test first time :) Thank you Sam :) xx

Fantastic experience: I passed first time with no minors all thanks to Sam’s amazing teaching. She is kind, patient and prepares you in the best way possible for your test. Can’t thank her enough for teaching me how to drive in a safe, correct way :)

Fantastic experience: Ive had a very lovely experience with Sam, very kind and patient always felt comfortable in my lessons and would recommend her in the future!

Negative experience: Not very good! I was learning with sam a while ago now, she was always on her phone texting or talking instead of watching the road. I paid her £200 before leaving for my holiday had a few lessons out of that to only come back and be told I used all my hours up. Asked for lessons and she stated she was on holiday, but I came across her driving about teaching someone else when taking I was taking a trip to St ives. She Talks about herself none stop during the lessons, making her not very consistent when needing you to check mirrors or even suggesting when taking a Turing ‘main mirror, right mirror signal down’. More focused on herself rather than the road which is very dangerous, but will get annoyed at you if you make a mistake. She wears inappropriate footwear when coming to the lesson meaning her boots get stuck and she is unable to react to my mistakes quickly. Since moving instructors I was unaware of all of the small things to look out for as her only interest is getting you to pass by taking you on test route every lesson instead of actually teaching you the proper ways of the road! I have spoken to others who have had sam as an instructor I would say they share the same theory, Sam treats you as a little blob in the drivers seat takes you on test route so you know the route and you can pass. but all and all I would say don’t waste your money. She should be paying you! Feels like a therapy lesson and your the councillor.
