Fantastic experience: I would recommend Colin to anyone looking for a driving instructor. His way of teaching is top notch, using computer diagrams and dash cam footage to help his students learn about driving, as well as great practical teaching. He is super friendly, very helpful and can be a great laugh too! I really enjoyed learning to drive with Colin, and passed my test first time with his help! I couldn't recommend him enough! Best instructor around! 10/10

Fantastic experience: I really cant say enough good things about colin. I came from london as eastbourne was the only test centre to have appointment. Colin took me on when many wouldnt he cleared his whole diary for me 2 days prior to my test and accepted the challenge to get me ready for my test in 2 days. Hes soo calm and has a way of making you feel at ease all the time.. His instruction skills are second to none. By FAR the best instructor i have ever come across and i have used many different instructors over the years. I cant thank colin enough for his time and effort in making sure i passed. You have no reason to look anywhere else easily the best instructor i have come across.. I CANT THANK COLIN ENOUGH many other instructors didnt wanna take on the challenge as they thought 2 days is not enough to get me ready BUT not colin he accepts any challenge and gives the best service and advice going

Fantastic experience: Saved my life! My old instructor bailed a week before my test so I found Colin. We had 6 hours driving before my test (Since I didn't drive for two months before that) and I passed!!! He is an absolute life saver and I will definitely recommend him if you are looking for an instructor. Sadly, I can't put 10000/5.

Fantastic experience: Colin was the best instructor I could have asked for he was excellent at explaining everything in a simple to understand way complete with his folder of images and whiteboard diagrams for visual learners. He was constantly giving me feedback on how I could improve and very observant of my driving technique. He adapted the lessons to fit my learning speed so I never felt like I was slowly progressing through a set structure. He’s a friendly and easy to talk to person so I always felt at ease in my lessons and they were certainly never boring. We had many laughs and he helped me through my moments of doubt and tears in the final run up to my test complete with tissues at the ready. Doubt I should never have had because I passed first time with only four minors! He’s even a qualified scuba diving instructor if you need one! There’s nothing this man can’t teach and I can’t recommend Colin enough. I have already started suggesting him to my friends and will carry on to do so.

And in cases like my self, after driving 10 years, his determination to see you pass for an advance driving course and taxi test.... highly recommended and will continue to recommend in future

Fantastic experience: After passing my test 7 years ago and not driving much since, I was very nervous to get back into the driving seat so needed some refresher lessons to improve my confidence. Colin was an excellent instructor, very calm and patient. I picked things up much quicker than I expected to, meaning I didn't need as many lessons as I first thought. The practical methods and helpful tips Colin teaches are so useful and easy to remember. Colin's way of teaching made lessons fun and I soon enjoyed driving again. I would definitely recommend Ministry of Driving, in fact my partner (who has never had a driving lesson) has signed up to be taught by Colin.

Fantastic experience: I started learning with Colin in early October 2015. I had absolutely no experience of a car; never even heard of a clutch pedal! But Colin, kindly and patiently, walked me through my learning to drive experience. We had regular sessions twice a week and I found this particularly helpful; it enabled regular driving practice which for me was what I needed. I was the kind of pupil who if they couldn't parallel park second time round, would be crying out of pure frustration! Colin was always supportive and knew exactly what to say at these times- he always had a packet of tissues on hand! I managed to first pass time and I am so grateful for choosing him as my driving instructor. I have even done my past plus with him now. I really do recommend him. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I recently did refresher lessons with Ministry of Driving as I had obtained my licence several years ago and never driven since. The lessons really helped me gain some driving confidence and I felt Colin was able to effectively see what aspects of driving I was struggling with and focus the lessons on those areas, therefore reducing the total number of lessons I had to have. The price was very reasonable too which never hurts!
