Simply Automatic

Fantastic experience: If I could give Simply Automatic more than 5/5, I would! Having passed my test a long time ago, but not driven for 25 years, I was extremely nervous about getting back on the road. I felt I needed an instructor to give me a few lessons to give me confidence and make sure I was able to drive. Luckily, I chose Phillip at Simply Automatic. From the outset, Phillip has involved me in deciding what would help me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Over the course of three lessons we have practised a range of manoeuvres and driven in different environments. Phillip has been constructive at all times, has given me lots of handy tips and has made sure he was covering what I wanted to re-learn. All of which he has done with great patience, humour and professionalism. In the space of two weeks, Phillip has taken me from being someone who wasn't even sure they wanted to get behind the wheel again, to being someone who has today driven home their own newly purchased car. Thank you Phillip for everything. Simply Automatic? No, Simply Amazing!

Fantastic experience: I’ve spent so long thinking I’m not good enough to drive but learning with Phillip has truly opened my eyes to the possibilities I could achieve through hard work and perseverance. Phillip has never made me feel like I cannot drive, and has always made me feel alright after making a mistake. Phillip has an outstanding outlook on driving and really helps you learn at ease. He explains things in a way that doesn’t make you feel silly, but also helps you understand what he’s talking about. He has provided me with many tips on how to overcome test nerves on the day, and using those tips I managed to pass today. I’d like to thank Phillip for helping me achieve my freedom and showing me how far my perseverance can take me. :)

Fantastic experience: Wow what can i say !Phillip is an amazing instructor ,he really puts you at ease ...I was confident because i had lessons previously ,but nothing like with Phillip.. He helped me to believe in myself again ..With a few attempts i kept going because Phillip said i could do this.YESS phillip was right ...I passed yesterday on 12.12.24 ...I'm 60 and Phill told me you are never to old to learn I want to say a big Thank you to Phill I highly reccomend simply Automatic You made my dream come true Thank you soo much for your patience , kindness and humour ..You simply are the best ,better than all the rest Kerry

Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend Phillip and Simply Automatic highly enough. Our daughter has autism and can be extremely anxious, especially in new or demanding situations. Under Philip’s very patient and professional guidance, she has passed her test well at the first attempt- learning how to drive for life and establishing good habits which will stand her in good stead as she ventures out independently. I will reiterate that Phillip has gone above and beyond to teach and reassure her, showing sensitivity and a good sense of humour, which is invaluable in a stressful lesson. He has liaised with me (her mum) in order that I could supplement her lessons with extra practice, and encouraged me to sit in on the occasional lesson to ensure we are all helping my daughter in a consistent way.
