Noel's Automatic driving lessons

Fantastic experience: I've been having lessons with Noel for a while now and he's been a wonderful instructor. Reasonably priced, always on time, knows his stuff and he's very vigilant - you're definitely safe under his guidance. The lessons aren't too challenging but he does put you to work and it really does pay off. He's been excellent so far and I really do recommend his services.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!! always on time was never once late, I think the lessons offered are great value for money and are taught in an excellent manner. Noel helped me to reach a high standard of driving, always correcting my mistakes and making suggestions in order to improve my driving and when doing so he is polite, informative and makes sure to explain everything thoroughly. The environment of which the lessons are taught in is calm and comfortable I honestly could'nt recommend anymore! thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I had previously tried learning how to drive a manual car and after some not so great experiences decided to move over to learn automatic. From my first lesson to today, Noel has been a great driving instructor. He's been patient with me as I've learned how to drive and overall I've gained more confidence in my ability to drive safely. Update! I HAVE PASSED! I couldn't have done it without the lessons I'd received from Noel, I was a bundle of nerves last week and he was very understanding, we went for a couple lessons and he gave me advice on how to keep cool during the test. All the lessons and effort have paid off, and I couldn't be happier!

Fantastic experience: I PASSED!! I can not praise Noel enough! When I first started driving with Noel, I was nervous and clueless. He put me at ease and made driving enjoyable! He spoke me through ever step, he is patient, kind and incredibly good at his job. Fantastic experience: After changing from a different driving instructor, I would definitely recommend doing lessons with Noel. Noel has helped me so much with gaining confidence on the road and how driving should be done. He was always on time, never late. He would always make sure I was doing things correctly on the road and was very clear on areas that needed improvement. I've now just passed my test and couldn't have done it without him.

Negative experience: I Couldn’t decide if I should post this or not as I am aware its someone’s livelihood but I feel it is only fair that those looking for a decent driving instructor should know. Although Noel seems like a very lovely man and insists on the phone that he’s not like other driving instructors who just want quick cash etc he is not what he seems. After having a very large amount of driving lessons previously with a different instructor (at least 60+ And 2 previous tests in a manual) I booked in with Noel since he was automatic and my old one was not, and I just needed a local instructor in clacton to show me the area and test routes and brush up on a few minor things. I was very confident and able to drive as I would have to drive and hour and half down a12 etc in my own car (being supervised) to get to clacton for our lessons as it’s not local to me, and would regularly drive in between. Despite all of this, which Noel knew of, Noel insisted that I needed to move my test that was in just over a months time as he felt I needed more lessons. He said he wouldn’t know when I was ready until I was ready and that even moving to an extra month wouldn’t be enough ( even though the plan was to have 2 lessons a week of 1 & 1/2 hrs up I took my test.) bear in mind as a driving instructor he must know how hard it is to get a test currently. This was during my second lesson with him in which We spent most of our time driving in circles round an empty car park and down empty residential roads and on both lessons he would ask me to pull over and would talk for what felt like forever. I completely felt as though he was treating me as a beginner even though He clearly new was not. so after wasting my time and money with Noel I decided to ignore his “professional” advice and just take the test in my own Car on my original test date, I ended up passing with only 4 minors. Clearly he is either very wrong in his judgment of driving ability or he is just another instructor who wants to milk as much money out of you as he can before your test and spend minimal time driving so he can save petrol. Please avoid or at least be cautious and get a second opinion on your driving if he is your instructor ❤️

Fantastic experience: I would like to reply to the person who left a bad review saying that Noel's a fraudster taking money and cancelling lessons is 100% wrong. In my experience of having lessons for a long time prior to covid and after covid, Noel's been on time and never cancelled my lessons. He is very punctual and always give good advice and help me to get to test standard.

Negative experience: His a fraudster, collects your money and don’t turn up. He cancels last minute with flimsy excuses, old man with no atom of regard for his students. Don’t use!! Took block of lessons and cancelled one week to driving test.

Fantastic experience: Automatic driving lessons with Noel have exceeded my expectations. Really professional, constructive, easy-going and the lessons are well structured. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Noel is very reliable. He is always on time with my lessons. I've paid in advance for my lessons before and he always keep a records where I signed it at the end of the lessons. so I always know how many hours I have left. BTW I've passed my test in one go. Highly recommend. P.s Q Islam. He may be old but he has a lot of knowledge with driving.

Fantastic experience: This instructor is 100% geniune, his done a lot of lessons for family and friends, always been to time, he keeps signed record for every lessons. These people saying bad things about him are not true. I bet this person Q Islam, forgot how many hours they have left or have nothing left, just wants to con Noel out for free lessons.

Negative experience: BEWARE THIS GUY IS FRAUDULENT HE JUST STOLE 3 LESSONS!!! Do not pay in advance will take your money!!!!!!! and his not professional and is old so think before you spend..

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, a very competent driving instructor. Passed my driving test in one take. Just listen and drive well.
