He is a fantastic instructor who explains everything clearly and tailors his lessons so they are easy to understand. He is patient, supportive, and puts real faith in you, which helped me become a much more confident driver. Scott also takes the time to talk through any worries and helps with anything that might cause overthinking. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive, definitely book with Scott!!!

Fantastic experience: Over a year ago I took a test and failed really badly with another instructor. After this I gave up driving until I started with Scott and I drastically improved passing first time with him with only 3 minors and so much more confidence. Heavily recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a really good exerience learning with Scott he understood my issues and the areas i needed more help and he gave me learning plans tailored to what i was most struggling with. Breaks down every part of driving so i can understand why im doing what im doing. Just had a first time pass after learning from him for about a year, it was really a struggle before. Not an average half-arsed driving instructor, he genuinely cares about his students. Really pleased with results. Also he was very understanding when it came to rescheduling and any mistakes i had made with dates. Thanks scott!

Fantastic experience: I have been learning to drive for many years and have only just passed thanks to Scott’s help! I have failed tests previously in other areas across 9 years and after moving back to Congleton, I luckily found availability at Silk Driving School through Facebook. From day one, sitting in with Scott, I knew I’d pass with his instructions! Before his lessons, I was highly anxious and constantly doubting myself, which caused me to fail before. That first lesson, Scott got me to sit back and just enjoy driving which is something I never thought I’d achieve. He’s really calm and his knowledge is spot on! It’s made large improvements on my driving. I don’t say that lightly! I never thought I’d be able to pass in less than a year before starting! I did it in just four months in and out of a full time job; across fifteen lessons and first time in Macclesfield, having never driven there before. I passed feeling like a safe and competent driver, I think that was only possible with Scott! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I tried to start driving when I hit 17, and had numerous instructors which I could never get along with and ended up getting bored and not following on with lessons. I finally at 27 thought I would give driving another attempt and got booked in with Scott. From the first lesson everything seemed so much easier than previous experiences. I felt a million times more comfortable and started to enjoy driving. Scott dedicated each lesson to helping me progress and finally after starting and stopping lessons over 11 years I've finally passed first time! Thank you for everything Scott, I will be recommending you to anyone who asks for an instructor in the future.

Fantastic experience: Scott is an excellent driving instructor. He always came prepared with a clear aim for each lesson and was able to adapt to the areas where I was more or less confident. He doesn't just teach you how to pass the test but how to be a competent and confident driver in all situations. Always encouraging and talks through your mistakes so you can learn from them easily.

Fantastic experience: Scott took me on as a student that had already previously had 1 test and over 40 hours of learning. He is one of the best instructors there is by far! He has fountains of in depth knowledge about every single detail of driving to get you to pass your test. He is calm, patient, kind, everything you could ask for in an instructor and goes at the pace you want and adapts to your learning just by getting to know you. I would highly recommend Scott for any of your driving needs and he should be proud of his capabilities of being such a great driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Scott was highly recommended to me, and I understand why. I was very nervous and anxious about learning to drive again after my previous lessons were nearly 20 years ago. Scott made me feel at ease and took his time explaining things to me, he also adapted the way he taught to fit my learning style, so I understood what was required of me. He is a very patient individual, which always put me at ease, and he would always be straight to the point about progress or areas to focus on, so I knew where I stood.
