Positive experience: Phil is a great driving instructor and a really nice guy with a good sense of humour and always down for a laugh. I always enjoyed my lessons with him and would recommend him to anyone nervous starting to drive. Cheers Phil

Negative experience: I had Terry as my driving instructor and I can honestly say that it was the worst driving lesson I have ever had. He spends most of the time talking about himself and is overly critical from start to finish. He also made a comment about 'women drivers' which I found appalling. Avoid this instructor.

Negative experience: I would not recommend. I was paired up with Clive. I am grateful he taught me how to move the car, and gear/clutch control. However I would not recommend him considering how he taught me. Firstly, he shouts when I make mistakes and dwells on the mistake which can also cause another mistake to happen. I’m African, he made few comments about how poor Africa is. I reported him once regarding his way of teaching as I am a new learn and has never driven in the UK before so obviously I will make few mistakes which is allowed as a new learner. When starting roundabouts at first he didn’t teach me from the book first and allowed me to try it without having any clue, when I made mistakes that’s when he posed, asked me to park and we went through steps of approaching roundabouts. I wondered from that point if there were anymore things he wasn’t telling me. However 3 ppl passed since I started with him from sept 2022 to February 2023. We only do 1 hour every week (Note sometimes I miss lessons). I don’t know how he is like with other students but personally I feel like my time and money has been wasted. Moreover, he focuses on criticism so much and hardly verbalised what I done right. I’m never someone who wrote such feedbacks but I just had to.

Negative experience: Don’t drive with Clive, awful instructor! He spends most of the lesson waffling about things other than driving & then gives you little to no instructions about driving, often arrives too early or too late, would’ve gave half a star rating if I could.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Mike and the team enough, booked a last minute test and couldn't get an instructor so hired a car from Keiths and my son passed. Great car, great service, would highly recommend to anyone who needs either lessons or hire.

Negative experience: Clive was extremely unprofessional and extremely rude, he ended up shouting down the phone at me and putting the phone down. As you can see from the pictures, I booked a driving lesson with Clive on Thursday 27th May, 10am - 12pm, however on Wednesday 26th May Clive messaged me insisting we had booked a lesson on this day. I copy and pasted our previous messages and the evidence was all there but Clive insisted I was wrong as he had put Wed 26th May in his diary, saying that that was the correct date. I then called Clive as I feared there had been a misunderstanding, however whilst on the phone he said that I was wrong and then put the phone down on me. I then rang him back as I didn't get a chance to speak and he said that 'my' Wed 26 lesson had now been taken and there were no other lessons available. He also said that I should look elsewhere for lessons. He was extremely aggressive on the phone and took no responsibility at all for mixing up the dates. For our previous lesson he turned up 20 minutes early and began calling and texting me as though the lesson had already started, but I was not available before the lesson. He also brought me back 15 minutes before the lesson had finished. He spent a lot of the lesson talking instead of teaching and didn't seem to be paying attention to what I was doing.

Negative experience: Can't rate school as such- only my experience with instructor called Clive. He either drop off early or pick up late-assuming not leaving enough time margines between pupils which shorten the time you paid for. On occasion of a longer lesson he happened to have a cigarette break. On my one of the first lesson in busier traffic he forgot to put 'L' banner on the car roof. Illigal, dangerous and quite stressful as other drivers was honking for my slow reaction and stalling, assuming I am a qualified driver.. On a very secend lesson I manage to pop a tyre by scraping the curb thanks to his slow reactions. After changing instructor it was also clear I picked up few bad habits and techniques which was hard to unlearn. Lovely chap though, perhaps in a wrong profession.

Fantastic experience: I had heard stories from my friends about bad driving instructors, so I was quite apprehensive about finding someone. Luckily I was paired up with Pete, who is the epitome of a good driving instructor. Having literally never sat behind the wheel of a car, I was extremely nervous, but Pete made me feel incredibly safe - he pushes you just the right amount, so you don't feel uncomfortable but your skills improve much faster than you anticipate. I passed second time - my fail was nothing to do with my instructor, I was just crazy nervous. I'd happily recommend Pete to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This is why Keiths is so good. Had small experience before joining Keiths, who offered an introductory offer for 6 lessons paid up front. Got a great driving instructor who applied just the right amount of necessary tuition at the same time as being totally relaxed, and un-pressured. Brilliant instructor i would recommend to all. I passed first time with 2 minors, I shall say no more! 5*****

Fantastic experience: My instructor from Keith's was great. He was very laid back and gave me a lot of confidence in my driving. Was placed almost immediately on the roads - not wasting time and money in a car park! I progressed much quicker than others from my college. Passed first time. Would definitely recommend.
