AIA Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Good driving instructor 10/10 — patient, knowledgeable, and calm even when things were stressful. He teaches steadily, very professional. You’ll learn a lot from him, he is very patient and professional. I hope he continues growing, his driving lessons changed my life for the best. He offers intensive courses which I recommend. After changing many instructors, he is the only one who was knowledgeable and professional. 5 ⭐ 10/10
Fantastic experience: I tried numerous driving instructors for myself and my sons but Aqueel is by far the best. He’s patient, calm and very knowledgeable regarding anything to do with the driving test and cars. I was recommended him by a few friends and my 2 sons have also passed with Aqueel 1st time. Thank you, I couldn’t recommend him enough!
Fantastic experience: Passed after just 5 weeks with an intensive course! Aqueel was very patient and clear which really helped my confidence. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Aqueel! From day one, he was patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made even the most nerve-wracking parts of driving feel manageable and safe. What I appreciated most was their calm demeanor and ability to tailor each lesson to my pace and comfort level. Whether it was parallel parking or navigating busy roads, Aqueel gave me the confidence and skills I needed to pass on my first try! I can’t recommend his lessons highly enough. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional driving instructor, this is the one!
Fantastic experience: very friendly and coherent in his instructing :)
Fantastic experience: As my test was coming up, I had 2 lessons with Aqueel due to me not having any lessons since last November with a different company. He settled any last minute nerves, stayed very calm and promoted positivity. He is very easy to talk to and is good at explaining road rules/manoeuvres. I wish I would have used him from the start! Thanks to him, I recently passed my test. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Fantastic experience: i highly recommend AIA driving school verry professional allways on time for my lessons and allways has a really clean car hes a good teacher and with his help i passed first time with only 2 minors. TOP MAN
Fantastic experience: I was a nervous learner initially but Aqueel made me feel at ease from the get-go. Great communication and patience. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you
Fantastic experience: Very great instructor that's always ready to help
Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience learning to drive with Aqueel at AIA Driving School. From the very first lesson, Aqueel demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. His calm and patient approach instantly made me feel comfortable and confident. He broke down every aspect of driving in a way that was easy to understand, and his teaching style was always clear, methodical, and encouraging. What really stood out to me was how tailored his lessons were to my individual needs. Aqueel took the time to assess my strengths and areas for improvement and adjusted each lesson to ensure I was constantly progressing. He was always punctual and fully committed to helping me become a safe, confident driver. In just 2-3 months of lessons, I went from someone who had barely any driving experience to passing my test with confidence. Aqueel’s attention to detail, constructive feedback, and focus on safety made all the difference. He prepared me not only to pass the test but also to handle real-world driving situations with ease. If you're looking for a driving school that genuinely cares about its students and ensures you’re fully prepared for your test, I highly recommend AIA Driving School and Aqueel. The professionalism, dedication, and quality of instruction are second to none. Thank you, Aqueel, for helping me achieve my goal in such a short time! Highly Recommend. A+
Fantastic experience: I recently passed with AIA Driving School and it was an amazing exeprience. Aqueel is spectacular at teaching, he's very patient and accomodating towards his student's needs. Coming up to my test he prioritised my lessons and any extra time I wanted to cover last-minute issues. Overall, 10/10 - 100% recommend!
Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructor. Patient, calm and easy to get along with. Had 6 lessons with him to get rid of bad habits as my test was booked. Passed first time thanks to AIA. Could not recommend enough, in fact have already recommended a few friends.
Fantastic experience: Passed first time with Aqil, he is an amazing instructor, explains things perfectly and is calm and reassuring. We had more of an intensive course of lessons and I couldn’t be more happy I have chosen him. He also made time for my lessons each week and could always fit me in when no one else was available, I appreciated the early morning lessons. Pleasure to be around him. Thank you!!
Negative experience: I had one lesson on Friday 31st june with Aqil it seemed to go well, I mentioned Aqil I have another lesson with another school and explained the reason why, he said he was fine about it. After the lesson I told him I was happy with the lesson and he's a calm instructor. After the lesson I said I will get back to him the next day (Saturday). So on Saturday I sent him a text. Unfortunately I had no response, Aqil mentioned that Saturday was his only day off so I waited until Monday to reach out again, I text him asking him if he can contact me but again no response! Today Tuesday I reached out again.. I received a text from his receptionist stating they have been busy and have allocated my space to someone else and now they have no availability for me, But they can put me on a waiting list if I wished. I have just got off the phone with his receptionist and asked for some clarification as to why there's been no contact since Saturday, She said he's been busy. I asked why they have given my slot away but not contacted me until today to let me know. She didn't really have an answer. So eventually after some pressure she got down to the real reason and directed her point to some notes about me having another lesson with a different school. So now it becomes clear.. I spoke with Aqil about having another lesson with a different school that same day being fully transparent explaining my reason behind it. He said multiple times it wasn't a problem and said you're free to make your own decision, but I informed him I would give him an answer the next day (On Saturday). I did text him, asked if I could call him but unfortunately there was no answer. So was there a choice made straight away or is the next day too long of a wait to get an answer? I'll let you decide for yourself... All being said, I don't have any issues with Aqil himself he's a nice guy and I actually enjoyed my lesson with him he seems like a good instructor. Unfortunately I don't think Aqil's receptionist has helped the situation she was very defensive of the bat. And she even said she wasn't privy to all the information about what was discussed with me and Aqil in the lesson. Either way a decision was made after that first lesson not to go forward, So why make me wait 4 days with no response if you already had an answer... I'm sorry but there's no excuse for it. If there was a problem it's okay simple communication would have gone a long way. Anyway I'm just being honest and if that's harsh it's a shame but it's the truth. Reply to AIA Nothing in my review has been aggressive please tell me I'm wrong about your version of events that conveniently skipping out the part Aqil told me before the first lesson now is the prefect time as some of the exams are coming up and he has availability so under that premise I'm failing to understand what changed. Other than after hearing of my lesson with another school. Should that have been the case they could have declined the lesson or said it was an issue at the time. But they have taken the lesson verbally agreed it was okay then left me hanging without a response over 4 days so forgive me for being a little annoyed. If there had been communication from them in the last 4 days leading up to me making this review we wouldn't even be having a conversation. But I guess their policy is only respectful and courteous when it suits their own interests. On a call with AIA, All I asked why it's taken four days too reply, no apologies were made and no responsibility just we're busy! After questioning why the slot was not available it was indeed because of the lesson with the other school. To add context I did swear in frustration but it's very clear it wasn't aimed at her directly but because of her attitude speaking over me multiple times and being non-empathetic of the situation. Can you make it clear, where was your courtesy in verbally agreeing something but then doing totally the opposite.. Is that behaviour acceptable or is this a one way street?
Hi, unfortunately Luke is totally wrong in his understanding of the situation. He started swearing and being extremely aggressive.
AIA in line with their policy do not accept abusive behaviour and did their utmost to adopt an empathetic and conciliatory approach. Due to the exceptionally high demand for AIA, we were unable to respond during teaching periods and communicated at the earliest opportunity.
We wish Luke the best of luck in finding a new instructor and cannot add him to our waiting list in view of his unacceptable behaviour towards our staff.
We are under no obligation to accept clients who do not observe or respect our policies of simple courtesy. This review has been reported to Google on the basis of inaccurate fabricated content and threatening behaviour.
