Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time, thanks to Tahir! During the lessons, he pushes you just enough so that you keep learning but he is also very patient. He prepares you to drive safely and well but not just for the test routes - which means you also get experience (some confidence) in driving in different roads and circumstances. This not only helps with the actual driving test but also for your driving afterwards. He explains concepts in a simple and understandable manner and he is reliable. Fantastic experience: Passed today, First attempt. Tahir is a good instructor with years of experience. Sessions were always on time. Despite never drove a manual car before in the UK which is totally different to driving in my home country. He managed to teach me rules that are useful for the test and for everyday driving.

If he’s available then blindly go for him, probably one of the best instructors you could encounter in the UK! Coming to my experience in depth, someone who’s been driving for 8+ years in my home country I had to adapt to UK conditions and understand how vital it is to follow the highway code and understand the safety behaviour you need to adapt in UK to improve your driving skills to the UK Practical Driving test standards and he was absolutely amazing in understanding the flaws I had in my driving and making me understand everything that was required to pass my test. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today on my 1st attempt with 1 minor, and it was only possible because of Tahir. He pushed me to be better with every drive. He is a great driving instructor who doesn't want to rip you off. I would ask him for more lessons and he would refuse me saying you don't need more lessons and you are ready to pass. I don't think many people would do that. He might push you hard sometimes, but it pays off in the end because the driving test seems to be a walk in the park when compared to the level of driving lessons he gives you. I would recommend him to all my friends.

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school in Preston and the best instructor! I drove with another school before I went to Tahir, I had driven a bit but it would have been a failure. With Tahir's help I went for my test after only 6 hours of driving and passed with only one small driver error! He is very kind and helpful, and doesn't stress you out if you make a mistake while driving, rather reassures you and helps you get back to normal, which is very important and necessary! Fantastic experience: My brother’s instructor’s car broke down and we were not able to reschedule the test. I asked every driving instructor I could if they had availability but at a single days notice, unsurprisingly, nobody seemed too. My brother would have had to do his test in our old beat up Peugeot 206 but that’s when BlackGold Driving School came through saying they had found an instructor who was available to step in. Massively grateful for the effort put in by BlackGold to come through for us in our time of need (even if the phone operator did have a bit of an attitude). Would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Such a caring and lovely instructor! After having heard amazing recommendations to go with Tahir I booked my first lesson at the beginning of August and just shortly 4 months later I had my driving license. Could not recommend him enough he truly cares about all of his pupils and puts 100% effort into making you a confident and safe driver! To this day when I’m driving if I ever get nervous I think of little things he used to say like “no fear factor” “make a decision” which makes me a much more confident driver!
