Fantastic experience: I recently passed my test after a lot of hard work from both me and Mark. He is a phenomenal driving instructor, the way he teaches, encourages and guides his students is brilliant. He focuses on teaching his students how to be excellent and respectful drivers, and teaches them the rules of the road and how to be safe rather than teach them only the things needed to pass, which i believe is incredibly important and more valuable. He teaches with a firm but incredibly kind hand, and eased any anxieties i had with driving and my ability. Learning with ALERT was the best decision to make and i recommend this driving school to anyone who wishes to learn to drive!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Alert School of Motoring by a friend when I was looking for an instructor for my son. We were clear of Kyles needs and Mark has been absolutely brilliant with him. Very patient and supportive. Explained everything clearly. Was easy to contact when needed. After just 8 months of lessons Kyle passed first time with just one minor fault! We can't thank Mark enough for his time and efforts. Passing driving tests is 50% down to the pupil and also 50% down to having a good instructor! 100% recommend Alert SOM!

Fantastic experience: I started my journey almost 20 years a go to become a driver but life got in the way ( etc kids and health), but with hard work, self willing and tons of support and encouragement from Mark my dreams have finally come true. I have never known a person like mark who has seen me laugh, be angry and even cry to the point I was kicking myself for stupid mistakes but he carried on with a smile on his face even though he probably did feel at times it was never going to end but with Marks patience and understanding I have passed with 6 minors. thank you Mark you mean a lot to me keep doing what you do it really does work now you have to other two sons now to get passed 2 down 2 to go GOOD LUCK.

Fantastic experience: After over a year of lessons, Mark finally managed to get me passed on the second attempt! it's not been an easy road, many of moments of frustration at myself but he always kept me positive and pushed me on to get to where I am as a driver now. I was such a nervous driver at the beginning and never ever thought I'd get here. couldn't have done it without Mark and his expert advice and help and always putting up with me and my "jess moments", he has the patience of a saint and I cannot recommend him enough

Fantastic experience: Where do I start, I was in total panic mode after contacting lots of instructors with my test fast approaching and theory running out. I contacted Mark and explained my situation and he could not of helped me more than he did he did an assessment lesson with me and put a plan in place for me to achieve my goal of passing the driving test. I read lots of the reviews Mark has received and I can honestly say they are spot on. Mark has a very unique way of teaching and certainly knows his stuff when it comes to driving and what is required to become a good safe driver. I've had other instructors in the past, and Mark is certainly a league above the others. Don't waste your money going elsewhere go with the best. Once again thanks Mark much appreciated for your expertise and making lesson so much fun.

Fantastic experience: Mark is an excellent driving instructor, who will gradually build your driving confidence with every lesson. He is a friendly guy, who keeps you calm & focused whilst out driving. I passed first time with Mark’s encouragement & he calmed my nerves prior to my test, which obviously paid off. Fantastic experience: I previously had driving lesson prior using Alert School Of Motoring and what a waste of money and time… I contacted Mark and told him of my situation and to see if he could help me and help he did, he has a great skill in letting you no what he wants from you and how to drive safe and correctly to get a pass, I fully recommend mark to anyone who WANTS to LEARN how to drive… all in all 10/10 in all sectors as a driving instructor…

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Mark enough. Had to do an extended driving test and had been turned away by many other instructors. Mark couldn't do enough to help me gain my licence back. Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Alert School of Motoring to learn to drive. I was a nervous driver and I had lots of fears when I first started to drive with Mark. He remained professional, reassured me and pushed me to believe in myself even when I was at my worst and that many times I wanted to quit from my nerves but he stayed in a calm manner and would talk to me to discuss those fears and ways to help me. The vehicle was cleaned to high standards during this pandemic and along with instructor and pupil wearing facemasks whilst on lessons for safety. I passed my test on the 29th October first time and will be forever grateful and now have a more positive approach to driving and freedom that I've always wanted. Thankyou Mark!
