Drivezire: Reviews
Negative experience: Saw an absolute goon from this company driving round Wandsworth (FP74 I think). Some of the most unsafe driving I’ve ever seen. Wouldn’t dream of being taught by them
Fantastic experience: I passed first time with this company today. I am really grateful to this company they are the best!!!
Negative experience: Almost crashed into me and one of the worst drivers I have seen. Definitely would not want to learn from them.
Fantastic experience: Bev was quick to respond to my query. Very helpful with information and finding times to get me lessons in my wonky schedule. Good, caring instruction from Charlene. A lot of flexibility with times and locations - and a lot of caring and helpful guidance. And they managed to get me test within a week of me finishing my lessons. Passed the first time. They were great.
Fantastic experience: Amazing quality lessons with good prices as well. Massive shout out to Charlene my instructor for her patience and dedication. Also not forgetting Bev for her amazing moral support!
Fantastic experience: Noel is the Best instructor He is calme and professional He helped me from zero to the license
Fantastic experience: Charlene was very good. Passed on my first attempt thanks to Charlene. Good and reliable
Fantastic experience: Today I passed my driving test and I can’t thank my instructor, Noel enough. He is so patient and helped to make the learning to drive experience calming and helped me to feel confident behind the wheel. Always super positive and really fun person to learn to drive with would highly recommended as an instructor especially if you are dyslexic as he has all the patience in the world to help you learn and to make mistakes and never makes you feel bad about it!
Fantastic experience: I met Noel following quite a negative experience with a separate instructor. Over the course of a few months he combined really fun lessons with proper technical coaching to build my confidence back up and ultimately pass my test. He has a real focus on being a safe driver to be a good driver and I think this is the key to passing the driving test. As well as being a talented teacher, he is also a great person and I believe we have built a friendship out of the initial student-instructor relationship. I couldn’t recommend Noel enough for a really enjoyable driving learning experience, that goes beyond just passing the test, and gets to properly know the car. His approach is very kind and supportive and he creates a really safe space to learn in the difficult environment that is the London road system! (He also has great music taste!) Thanks Noel!!
Fantastic experience: I had Noel and Bev at different points as instructors. They didn’t just help me pass my best, they taught me to drive properly, safely and confidently! Noel is patient, calm and very discerning as an instructor, while Bev is direct, motivational and very much has her head on straight. I could not recommend them enough to anyone wanting to learn how to drive!
Fantastic experience: Noel is an amazing and such a friendly instructor. From the first lesson i felt comfortable. He built my confidence in driving from zero to a pass! I’d strongly recommend Noel :)
Negative experience: Well well, one of these so called instructors just cut a whole cue of trafic, and then sped up magadalen rd in earlsfied, they then sped up the road, breaking sharply when someone ran across the road, then sped up again, only to break sharply when some one walked on to the pelican crossing, then sped off again going over 30mph in a 20, absaloutly shocked on there behaviour... Bad example, i pulled over to write this review,...
Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with Noel from Drivezire. Noel created a really comfortable environment and he was positive throughout. His teaching style pushed me to do better, without making me feel bad for any mistakes. Most importantly, with his guidance I passed first time! :)
Fantastic experience: I did lessons with Noel over the course of a few months and passed (first time!) earlier this week. It was a real joy to be taught by someone so patient, thoughtful and fun. I was pretty nervous after some less than ideal experiences learning to drive in the past, but Noel's lessons brought my confidence back and I passed! He's the GOAT!
Fantastic experience: From start to finish I've had not only a positive but fun experience learning to drive, Noel has been nothing but patient, supportive and encouraging all throughout my driving journey and helped me from being a nervous driver to a more confident one and got me to the finish line in passing my driving test. Michelle is also an amazing instructor who makes you feel at ease when driving and highly knowledgeable when it comes to helping you overcome that driving anxiety. Massive thank you to the Drivezire team for all your hard work and support!!!
Fantastic experience: Noel at Drivezire is hands down the best driving instructor ever! From the get-go, he made learning to drive a breeze. Super patient, even when I messed up manoeuvres for the hundredth time. Noel's got a knack for making you feel calm and confident behind the wheel. He is super personable and easy to get along with, which is really important for those longer lessons!! He knows the roads like the back of his hand and doesn't just teach you to pass the test but to just be a great driver. His feedback was spot-on, and he always had a good laugh to share. If you're on the hunt for a driving guru, Noel's your guy. Passed my test with flying colours first time, all thanks to him!
Negative experience: Update: response from this company is utterly misleading and defamatory. Complete misrepresentation of events. So shocked at their doubling-down and lies. Best I should consult solicitors to counter this nonsense. They have defamed and doxxed me and, as much as I hate (scared of) controversy, I will not be cowed by their lies and bullying Great driving instructor (Noel) let down by a petulant and uncaring Drivezire franchise. My son had 65 hours of lessons but failed due to silly error in last minute of test. Drivezire said he would not get another test for 6 months’ plus as they prioritised students who had never sat a test before (even if they had only 10-20 hours of Drivezire lessons compared to my son’s 65!). I complained that they did not reward loyalty and were hanging students who failed out to dry; another manager then called me out of the blue purely to rant at me (no listening or problem-solving!). In the process, she made a completely gratuitous and offensive comment about potential of crashing into a child (on the very day of the Wimbledon school car crash tragedy!). 24 hours later, they sent a text cancelling all the lessons we’d booked not only for my son but also for his elder brother (who had already had 25 hours lessons with Drivezire) and who had *nothing* to do with our complaint. The boys’ driving instructor, Noel, is gutted that he has been barred from teaching them and has sent us lovely messages. Wholly unprofessional company who let students down, don’t reward loyalty, can’t handle criticism and are petty and vindictive when challenged. Update: this company has now doxxed me on Yell (which is against site policy) and told lies. Their behaviour goes from bad to worse.
Hi Sally. I'd like to first say it's upsetting that you feel the need to try and tarnish our company by posting so many reviews, under different aliases for the same situation which is clearly out of our control. It's been made very public nationwide that there is a huge problem with obtaining driving test dates. The current waiting list is over 5 months. Many driving schools/instructors are finding difficulty in obtaining tests for their students which is not only frustrating for the students but also for us. We can only reiterate what was already discussed in your numerous offensive phone calls to our team. We will not under any circumstances prioritise giving your child another test date after his fail by taking a date from another student who, like your son, have been working hard towards their test date.
This would be unfair, despite any perceived entitlement on your part, as it would undermine the fairness for other students learning with our school. We treat all our students equally and do not show favoritism based on gender, race, or class. I found it highly inappropriate that you not only attempted to assert your demands aggressively but also openly expressed your willingness to pay what ever it takes to secure a test date. How fortunate for you to hold such a privileged financial status. Unlike third-party companies that exploit students by selling test dates at exorbitant prices, we firmly believe in fairness and do not engage in such practices. Additionally, our availability of dates is severely limited due to the shortage in supply, which is beyond our control. We have no influence or priority over the dates released by the DVSA.
Unfortunately your review is inaccurate. We don't priorise students who have done 10-20 hours. Our students are offered tests once they are of test standard. Any candidate presented and for test who fails their test have to rebook a new test date. With the current waiting times this may not be until December 2023. However, if we have a student who is not ready for their upcoming booked test, to give them more preparation time we'll offer it to a student who is ready; this may be a student who has recently failed. You didn't allow an opportunity for this to happen as you demanded an immediate test date and it was made clear that we will not withdraw a test from a student that has been working towards their date. As mentioned the shortage of tests is a problem nationwide and you targeting your anger at us is not helping. We have no control over the test booking system. Leaving lots of negative reviews across mulitple platforms can't change that as we have no power.
In addition I would like to point out that there has been no remorse or apology given for the damage to our car encountered on test. We understand that due to nerves these things can happen and this is why we haven't been difficult in regard to this matter.
It was solely due to your abusive behaviour towards our team that the decision to withdraw our services from you was made.
We wish you all the best and hope the boys achieve their licence in the near future as we know we have given them the best skills to allow them to be safe for life on the roads
Kind regards Drivezire
Fantastic experience: I had Charlene as my driving instructor, she was very accommodating and made sure that you felt comfortable with dealing with most if not all expected situations that you may possibly end up in. I would not hesitate to pick DriveZire again.
Negative experience: I had a few lessons with a driving instructor from Drivezire, and it was a letdown. She insisted I needed more lessons, but I passed my test on the second try. As She canceled taking me to the test center due to a "family emergency" and her colleague demanded £500 for the favour. Unreliable and exploitative. Choose another instructor who values professionalism and fair treatment of learners.
Fantastic experience: Great lessons with Noël - very patient and keen on making you progress. I had a good time while improving substantially my driving and ultimately obtaining my driving licence. Thanks a lot!¹
Fantastic experience: 5 years later… can’t thank Drivezire enough Still on the road even upgrade to a luxury brand car. The best driving school in the country. Thank you, for teaching me to become a driver for life. Truly amazing instructors.
Thank you Rachel. So happy you are still driving around safely and got you a new car. You really were an amazing student. So committed and dedicated no matter how hard it got.
Well done and hope to see you on the roads.
Heres to many more happy years of safe motoring
