Accord Driving School

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Accord driving school! My instructor Tony had always motivated me and never put me down. He is the most knowledgeable and patient and his teaching was always clear. Every lesson was informative and always explained to me thoroughly- | never left a lesson feeling like Id not learnt anything. The lessons were all worth every penny!

Negative experience: Tony Friday is the worst driving instructor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He was rude, condescending and aggressive. Last thing you want from a driving instructor. Avoid at all costs and get your driving lessons elsewhere.

Negative experience: The worst experience I have ever had with an instructor. Tony was very rude and condescending and quite frankly no help at all. He also made comments about how he was doing me favour charging so low, when in fact this was the most I've ever paid for a lesson. Don't waste your time and money here go find somebody who charges less and actually delivers on the teaching part of the lesson.

Negative experience: Since learning to drive with Accord- Tony, I’ve lost confidence in my driving and have become anxious behind the wheel. Here are some quotes from my instructor during my driving lessons “it was a nightmare”, “feel like I’ve told you this a thousand times”, “I don’t understand how your brain works” and further remarks along the lines of disappointment and disbelief at my mistakes. I never had problems like this with my last instructor and these constant remarks during the lessons has reduced my performance and increased my stress and anxiety. Otherwise Tony knows his stuff and I feel like if he was more supportive and empathetic during the lessons he would have been a great instructor for me. Apart from that I do not recommend. To confirm I had 4X2hr lessons with Tony.

Fantastic experience: I learnt with Craig, who was an absolute pleasure to be taught by! He made every lesson fun and was as chatty as you are, asking intelligent questions to make you think over your actions and having complete patience for any questions I asked or mistakes I made! 15/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Huge thanks to Tony Friday for being such a great instructor. I’d had about 20 lessons previously about 15 years ago so wasn’t a complete beginner but still Tony managed to get me to test standard with only 7 lessons and in a space of 4 weeks from start to a first time pass. He is incredibly professional, a great communicator and perfectly balances discipline with humour, providing a thoroughly enjoyable yet efficient learning experience. If you’re having trouble choosing an instructor/driving school then please do not waste your time with anybody else because Tony is by far the best man for the job!

Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Tony has been a pleasant, relaxed experience. I'm a very nervous person, so it was important for me that I'd be learning in a relaxed environment. he has been very helpful to me and I feel I have progressed much faster than I thought I would. The materials that he provided were also a great help, so that I could learn away from driving lessons as well. I would recommend Tony to anyone who is planning on learning to drive, and already have done. :)
