Fantastic experience: Passed first time, brilliant driving instructor, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mike is an excellent instructor who gives a lot of encouragement and shows great patience with his students. When I first started my lessons, I knew nothing about real road conditions, but he really built up my confidence step by step. He always kept the lessons fully focused on driving and used drawings to help me understand different situations. Even when I made a lot of mistakes, he was always supportive. He also organised my lessons really well and was very attentive. I would definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I’d recommend Michael to anyone! He was extremely patient with me as an anxious individual. He regularly checked in with how I was feeling each lesson at the start of my driving journey even to the end of our time together to ask whether I needed a break at any time and pull up. I loved that he was proactive with asking me what I wanted to work on specifically, making sure to tailor the lessons to what I feel I need more practice with leading up to my test. He would also each lesson proactively change the routes so I didn’t fall in the trap of being too used to my surroundings. He placed such an emphasis on understanding road markings and signs and would regularly ask if there is anything I may not understand or hadn’t seen before, and would explain in simple terms what they were for. Each lesson was a learning curve and I loved that. He’s excellent at just getting you behind a wheel and starting - there’s no period where I was sat watching him drive, or had him drive me to each locations - on the 1st lesson he had me behind a wheel and away I went. Personally I love a good chat and he’s a great conversationalist; definitely eased my nerves each lesson with the random chats we would have. Upon passing my test (2nd time lucky) I feel road ready, and I feel confident about being on the road, and that’s really important! Couldn’t have done it without you, thanks again Michael!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Mike enough. He is an excellent driving instructor and is very patient and helpful when it comes to driving. He was my second driving instructor and the one I would recommend when it comes to learning manual in Leeds 10/10

Fantastic experience: Mike is an excellent instructor. He is calm and patient and helped me feel very relaxed when driving and most importantly enjoy it! I have had a few driving instructors and Mike by far stands out of all of them. He explains concepts in a way that is easily understandable and memorable. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Mike from AMS driving school has been giving me lessons for around 8 months, and before starting I was so anxious to begin learning to drive. But Mike is calming patient and encouraging; even after doing something wrong there’s no anger. Mike instead talks through the situation and explains how to respond to potentially dangerous situations. If you’re anxious to start driving like I was, give him a go - you won’t be disappointed :)

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure and privilege to drive with an instructor as good as Mike. He is calm, patient and an excellent teacher, breaking down situations to make driving truly make sense. I have nothing but respect for Mike for helping me pass my driving test. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Mike teaching me how to drive. He is a great teacher. He is very patient, kind and always explains the theory and backs it up with practice. He always has great tips to improve on my skills and shows diagrams for easier learning. Mike was recommended to me by my friend and I couldn't be more happier with my experience. If you are looking for a patient and fantastic teacher with experience I reccomend him 100%.

Fantastic experience: Mike is a great instructor, very knowledgeable and reassuring! He teaches in a vauxhall corsa with dual controls which gives you that extra layer of support when learning to drive. I usually have weekly 1hr lessons but have had the odd 1.5hr /2hr lesson for driving further out or to work on manoeuvres. I started learning with Mike having had  lessons with another instructor. We started off driving in my local area then moved on to surrounding areas then started on manoeuvres. Mike is very patient and has his own techniques for manoeuvres which are very useful! He also points out road signs, markings and other things whilst driving that i found helpful as a new driver. Id recommend Mike to anyone wanting to take driving lessons!
