Littleover Driving School

Fantastic experience: Following a stroke which affected my peripheral vision, my licence was revoked by the DVLA as I failed to meet the required standards. After 2 years I was eventually issued with a 'disability provisional licence' by the DVLA which invited me to have lessons with a 'specialist' instructor and have an assessment at Derby Driveability to see if I was safe/unsafe to go back on the road again. I researched these instructors and Adam certainly came out as my 1st choice of specialist instructor. He is calm, patient, reassuring and helped me to regain my confidence which had been shattered. After a couple of months of lessons with Adam I had my assessment and the DVLA issued me with my driving licence. I highly recommend Adam for whatever your driving needs are. Thank you Adam for helping me get my licence and life back.

Fantastic experience: I was very apprehensive that the DVLA revoked my license due to health reasons. In time I was offered a safe-driving assessment, with a ‘recommendation’ of refresher lessons. Naturally, as someone who had driven for 20+ years I was rather apprehensive and admittedly indignant of what this experience would be. As you may have picked up I was quite negative in my approach to this. Rightly or wrongly I didn’t want to be treated like a new youngster. All that said as context. More what you want to read. Adam was amazing, so respectful and created a very positive and dare I say ‘refreshing’ experience. Adam developed my confidence, challenged me, but maintained a positive, dare I say fun experience. Adam is relaxed but attentive and fair, qualities that compliment the gentle observations and suggestions of a different approach to adopt. Whilst this isn’t Amazon or Uber, five stars. I do thoroughly recommend Adam, no faults, very positive experience with which I give my thanks.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Littleover driving school, Adam was amazing with my son. He is very patient and calm and my son got on well with him taking him out his comfort zone and making him feel relaxed while driving and he certainly helped him keep calm ready for his driving test.

Fantastic experience: Adam is fantastic. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone starting out or needing some confidence in their driving. He is calm, patient and always makes you feel comfortable. He’ll build confidence, yet push you out of your comfort zone without you even realising and his sense of humour is second to none. I went to him as a very nervous driver, not sure if I’d be able to get back behind the wheel, but the kindness, compassion and empathy he has shown me has made me believe in my driving abilities. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Adam enough! Thanks to his encouragement, patience and expertise I was able to pass my test with confidence. As I struggled with anxiety when driving, Adam always remained calm, reassuring and quick to offer useful tips that made me feel more confident in my driving. Because of this, not only did he help with driving skills but my overall confidence as well. His ability to explain things clearly while helping me feel at ease was invaluable. Adam is very good at adapting his teaching to meet how I would learn best personally and provided tips that proved useful on the test. Not only this, but he always knows how to crack a few jokes! Fantastic experience: Adam has so much patience, a relaxed but professional teaching style and a great observational sense of humour. He has been amazing at gently coaxing my very nervous, ‘not sure I want to drive’ daughter into someone who believes that they can learn to drive, and actually might even enjoy it! Fantastic experience: From start to finish, my driving lessons have been fantastic. Every lesson was broken down into easy to digest pieces, every ‘new driver anxiety’ problem was dealt with effectively and with delicate caution, and I left every lesson with miles more confidence and overall knowledge than I started with. Could not understate my recommendation, especially as someone with clinical anxiety on top of that. Also, fantastic music taste!

Instructions were given in a clear and understandable way before guiding through practically and getting plenty of experience and hours on the road – subsequently was able to pass first time! I have found that Littleover Driving School is very professional and great value for money. Adam is friendly but yet very efficient in his teaching methods, he will take his time to explain what you have done well and what needs improvement.
