Fantastic experience: Had a great experience over the course, Jeff was my instructor and he was amazing, couldn't of done it without his expert knowledge. Was nervous at first but was put at ease straight away. Would fully recommend LAD to anyone wanting to make the jump to Class 1. Thank you Jeff for the laughs and for making me believe in myself.

Fantastic experience: Had a amazing experience with this company would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing their class 1 or 2 was a bag of nerves on day 1 however they make you feel at ease staff are friendly and welcoming keith was my instructor he went above and beyond :)

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience training for my Cat C licence with this company. From the outset, their communication was great and everything happened exactly as explained and planned. As an experienced car driver who had never driven a truck before, my tutor, Keith, was excellent. He was patient and understanding whilst ensuring that my driving met the required standard. He used his many years of experience as a HGV driver to prepare me fully for the practical test. I would not hesitate in recommending this company for training.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ian for getting me in for a Category C test quickly due to a cancellation from someone else. My instructor Nigel was incredibly experienced and it showed! He was very informative, a laugh and an inspiration for a future instructor like myself. I passed my test first time with very few (3) minor faults and enjoyed every second. I'll be back again soon for my CPC and eventual C+E test as well. Thanks again gents!

Fantastic experience: Excellent tuition from everyone they really want to help you pass. I was on a warehousing and hgv class 2 training course with them which was funded through the job centre so I cannot comment on value but otherwise terrific. Shireen, luke and Ian were all very helpful with the warehousing, maths, English and admin and got me in as soon as they could which was tough because of covid. Nigel took me through all the theory and CPC aspects of the course and was approachable and friendly. Jeff took me for my practical. He is very direct and tells you like it is with regards to instruction and feedback and knows what you need to do to pass your test and will strive to do all he can for you. At one point we had a disagreement/misunderstanding which of course happens sometimes but we came to an amicable conclusion quickly and professionally and it helped us to understand each other better and work towards passing the test which I did first time! Excellent tuition all round and I very much recommend them!

Fantastic experience: So today 12/7/18 i managed to pass my class 2 lorry licence on my first attempt and i couldn't have done it without the help and patience of Jeff. Top instructor and top bloke. Can't thank that man enough. I was a bag of nerves when i started my training and he put me at ease from the moment i started. Thank you so much Jeff. Your a gentleman and a top bloke. I owe you one

Fantastic experience: I have just passed my Class 2 test (05/07/18) on the 1st attempt, after a week on the road with Jeff. What can I say, when I arrived on my first day it was as expected, nerves, butterflies topped off with more nerves. After a brief drive with Jeff, with him showing me what was expected of me, he let me loose!!... and I never looked back!! The knowledge and confidence he gives you makes you believe from the start you CAN and WILL pass. The training is broken down into segments covered over 4 days (test on day 5), so not to put too much stress or pressure on the training. If there is anything you feel you need more help with or more time on he is more than willing to go over it. The days were full of conversation, laughter (and tea) which only helped put me even further at ease, by the end of day 4 (the day before the test) I felt like I belonged behind the wheel and I knew then I was going to pass the following day. I can't thank Jeff and the guys enough for what they have done, and can say, honestly, if I had to do it all again i'd choose L.A.D without a second thought!! Jeff and the team, it's been a pleasure and I will be back in touch in the not too distant future to book my Class 1. Thank You, Carl.
