He’s also really easy to talk to which was great as I was so nervous! I passed with jon and he was so so helpful, couldn’t have done it without him, definitely recommend !

Fantastic experience: I honestly don't have the words to really express how amazing I think Jon is as an instructor. He was recommended to me by my sister in law at the beginning of the year when I expressed a desire to try learning to drive again after giving up about 7 years ago. As an incredibly anxious person and an older than average learner, I was TERRIFIED when I started my lessons in May of 2023. Jon has been incredibly patient with me without being patronising and has explained things in a way that they are easy to understand, even when they're tricky to put into practice the first few times. If you had told me in January that I would be a full fledged driver by Christmas, there's no way I would have believed you but with Jon's teaching I was able to pass my test on my first try on Thursday of this week. I am already recommending Jon to every single person I know that's interested in learning to drive because if he can get ME to do it, he can get ANYONE to do it. I just wish I could give more stars.

Fantastic experience: 100% the best instructor out there - first time pass! Jon was my 4th instructor and I’d got in touch around 3 months before my test after poor experiences with other instructors. The service Jon provides is excellent and I couldn’t recommend him more. I progressed more in the 3 months with Jon than I had in the previous 6 months with other instructors. Jon is patient, friendly, reliable and never raises his voice. He’s relaxed and easy to get along with! I’m so grateful for Jon’s help and expertise as well as for fitting me in for two lessons a week throughout the summer. Couldn’t recommend Jon more!!

Fantastic experience: Jon was a brilliant driving instructor for my daughter. Initially, I asked Jon to come and assess her driving because her instructor at the time had had her for 6 lessons and she hadn't even got into 3rd gear! I didnt know if this was normal! After being assessed Jon stepped in and taught my daughter everything she needed to pass first time!! He was our hero! He was the complete opposite to the other instructor. He was very professional, calm, reliable and encouraging. I couldn't recommend him more! If I could give 10 stars I would. Don't bother looking around. You won't find better.

Fantastic experience: From Martin Eade (posting from my Dad's account): I have recently passed my test (first time!) after having Jon as my instructor. Jon is such a calm and patient instructor in the car which was exactly what I needed when I first got into the driving seat! Incredibly encouraging and a great all-round teacher, Jon made me feel so at ease on the road and I grew in confidence very quickly. Not only is he highly professional and knowledgeable, he’s also such a friendly and kind heart. Driving lessons with Jon definitely felt like a tailored fit. He allowed me to learn at the pace that suited my needs, introducing more challenging skills and manoeuvres when it was best for me. Even when I made mistakes, Jon was never frustrated or angry. Instead, he always made sure to positively communicate ways to improve and encourage me to keep practicing! Another great thing with Jon’s lessons is that they are 2-hour blocks, so it really gives you plenty of time in the driving seat to practice; the lessons never felt rushed. He’s also very flexible and accommodating to the times that suit you. I would definitely recommend him as an instructor to anyone in the Chelmsford area! To all his future students, have a great time learning to drive with Jon and best of luck on your test!

Fantastic experience: Jon is such a great instructor! I passed my test on the first go (just like everyone who recommended him). He is very calm and a true expert on the road. He stays positive when you make a mistake and naturally encourages you to become a better driver. Overall experience was just a pleasure. I highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: Excellent driving intructor, Jon is very knowlageable, calm and easy to get on with. I have learnt so much from him and felt good on the test as he had really hammered home everything I needed to do. I have been with 3 other driving instructors but they don't come close to the quality and expertise he delivers. Well worth the money and very happy to have passed my test.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test so now it is time to write a review! Jon, you are an incredibly patient man and you have been God's gift. I had come into driving with a lot of self-doubt but you were quick to calm me down and just let me take my time. I highly recommend Jon over ANY other instructor because he pays real attention to you and the road, never leaves a valuable lesson to be learned unnoticed and he did not once lose his cool with me (I am a very chatty and awkward person). But Jon, add me to this list of very happy students. I will give you a wave on the road when I see you around (safely, of course).
