Fantastic experience: I have been having lessons with Tim for a few months now. My confidence was at rock bottom, but Tim has been so good at getting my confidence back. He is very patient and makes driving a positive experience. I now look forward to each lesson rather than having a bad attack of nerves and feeling full of dread. I would 100% recommend Tim to anyone thinking about learning to drive. I would like to say that I have passed my test after only 8 lessons.

Fantastic experience: I am an amateur driver and have been training with Tim for a couple of classes now. He is very patient and understanding. His delivery is clear and precise. He takes time to explain the logic behind doing something which I really love as it makes it easier to understand. Driving feels so much easier as he has a way of making it so. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Tim’s Automatic Driver School. I put off starting driving lessons again after failing my test twice nearly 10 years ago with another driving school, but wish I started again sooner as Tim makes the whole process very straightforward and I am a much more confident learner than I was before. He has good advice for feeling more prepared for your test and a clear approach to manoeuvres that I found difficult to learn in the past.

I was very anxious to start and had been putting it off for years but Tim made me feel comfortable straight away :) the lessons push you without making you overwhelmed so you always feel safe and it increases your confidence each time, i’ve have really started to enjoy driving which I never thought I would so thank you! Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic instructor i cannot fault tim, he made me smash through lessons and theory side of it too. He's so chilled out, no nonsense with him at all, straight to point. Great to have laugh and joke with too. I now feel so comfortable when driving and he made me over come so many fears.

Fantastic experience: I tentatively approached Tim asking for one lesson so I could get a sense of whether driving was for me. I'm an older first time driver (50+). He was encouraging and reassuring from the start, acknowledging my fears while encouraging me to test whether I could overcome them. After 4 hours of tuition I cannot believe my progress. It's just amazing. He is an engaging teacher who really listens and thinks carefully about how to deliver his insights. An excellent teacher. I can't believe wait for the next lessons.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test with Tim who was absolutely the best instructor in my opinion. Super patient and very knowledgeable he not only taught me to be a good driver but a safe driver which i think is the best way to learn. I would recommend him to anyone thats wanting to learn around southend. He is so encouraging and a positive person in general which really helped while learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: An amazing driving journey I have had. From my first driving assessment Tim made me feel at ease behind the wheel. I have dealt with anxiety all my adult life, so when I decided now was the time to learn to drive I was extremely worried that I may not feel comfortable with an instructor. Tim has been my one and only instructor, I'm so pleased I took the time and found him. He has a wonderful calming way of teaching, I am never scared to make a mistake or ask a question and when I start to feel anxious I am able to just say (something I don't normally do). He hasn't just taught me how to drive, he has given me great confidence in my ability to achieve a goal I never know I wanted. I was able to take my time, learn at my own pace and was never felt pressured. Tim took the time to get to know me and how I needed that push to come out of my comfort zone from time to time. Before I knew it I was actually enjoying higher speed routes, roundabouts and other roads users did not create the concerns that they did before. I have recommended Tim to many people who are thinking of learning and I will continue to do so. Now I'm so close to my test and it's not if I pass, it's when. And when I do, I am very much going to miss my weekly lessons along with the great conversations/debates about everything. A massive thank you to an outstanding driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: I found Tim to be very calm, patient, knowledgeable and an experienced driving instructor. In fact, he was absolutely excellent! My situation was quite unusual in that I passed my driving test well over 50 years ago and since then have only driven cars with manual gears. For a long time my husband has done all the driving and I’d completely lost my confidence, especially when it involved driving a car with automatic gears. I had tried three times, some years ago, to drive an automatic car, but failed miserably. Thankfully I did not cause an accident. Recently, our situation suddenly changed and I needed to learn to drive our automatic car, which was a most daunting task. Fantastic experience: Tim is an amazing instructor.His such a good hands on Instructor and always asks if i’m okay with trying different new roads,manoeuvres and learning if something has worked the way that i thought it would the first time. He will always ensure that his learner is comfortable with his teaching and with the learning to drive that his providing is with. He doesn’t make anyone do anything he doesn’t think they’ll be comfortable with,because his aim is to make people and safe driver on the roads before they pass their driving test and after aswell. Fantastic experience: Tim is a very good , professional and patient instructor . He transformed me into a confident driver . I had some refreshers lessons with him and he was absolutely amazing. He spends time in understanding individual learners needs. He goes above and beyond to help and give best quality lessons. Fantastic experience: Tim is an amazing instructor in every way, when I called I was booked in for lesson within the hour, every lesson I had with him gave me so much more confidence and was so informative on not just passing my test but being a driver behind that. I came to Tim after a year of learning with no major improvement with a previous instructor, I only had six hours with Tim but in those lessons my confidence and skill shot up leading to me not only passing my test but passing it completely confident in my ability to drive the car. I cannot recommend him enough to those just starting out or even looking to switch instructors as I did.
