Fantastic experience: Being slightly older than your average learner, I was extremely nervous to start driving lessons. I really thought I'd never actually drive and expected to stop lessons after a few, and give up once I realised I wasn't cut out for it. I was recommended Roly by a friend and Im SO happy I took their advice. He made me instantly believe that I could do it, and i knew from the first few lessons that I'd see it through to the end. He was calm, patient, understanding, funny and kind. Most of the time it felt like I was sat in the car with a friend! He put me at ease at all times and I never once felt stupid for making a mistake or asking questions..or crying! He totally believed in me and that boosted my confidence and made me believe in myself too. I recently had my test and passed first time. Something I never thought I'd be saying, and it's all thanks to Roly. He's a fabulous instructor and I'd absolutley recommend him 100%. Thank you Roly

Fantastic experience: As a neurodivergent person, driving for me has been a bumpy road. Never sure if I should just give up! Until I met Roly. Calm, patience and charisma are only a few words to describe this amazing empowering instructor. And all of sudden... BAM! I passed first time with 1 fault. He also helped me with a flexible time for the lessons in between my work, thanks to him, I passed my test at the very first attempt . Fantastic experience: My son initially started his lessons with another driving school but the instructor proved to be unreliable, thank goodness we decided to move on as Roly has been great. He’s friendly, calm and knowledgeable which helped my son to feel more confident, banishing any bad driving habits that the previous instructor failed to pick up on. With Roly’s encouragement and motivation my son was able to pass his test first time!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was learning to drive with a well known driving school. After a couple of months we decided to look for a more reliable instructor.... then we found Roly! He was so kind, calm and encouraging. He reassured Chloe and built her confidence, resulting in her passing her test first time, just 6 weeks after taking her on as his pupil! Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Roly enough! I was very anxious learning to drive but Roly was so calming and reassuring. He never pushed me to do anything I wasn’t ready for, gave me encouragement when I needed it and was an all around excellent teacher. Fantastic experience: Roly is my driving instructor, and I regret didn’t meet him earlier. He is the best instructor I’ve ever had. Very kind and encouraging when I was driving. Every time when I had a question, he knows the exact point where I was confused with, and he can explain clearly, logically and detailedly to build my understanding. Fantastic experience: I recently passed with the help of Roly if I didn’t have Roly as my instructor I wouldn’t have been able to do it he was so understanding calm and patient. I have Autism and Roly was extremely understanding and kind he always took the extra time to make sure I understood the manoeuvres and techniques. I can hand on heart say that without the help of Roly I wouldn’t have my license. He gave me the confidence that I desperately needed after a bad experience with another local driving instructor. Fantastic experience: Roly is a fantastic instructor. He is patient and takes time to explain feedback so you understand what to do in the future. I was a bit anxious at first but Roly is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. Sometimes I would ask questions that I felt stupid not knowing, but he never made me feel embarrassed. I passed my first time and absolutely owe that to him and how he teaches!

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t particularly interested in learning to drive, but Roly made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable to the point where I was genuinely looking forward to each upcoming lesson. He was always calm and explained everything perfectly well, even with any driving errors — we would discuss what happened and why and then move on. I'm quite a confident driver and he was always happy to allow me to challenge myself whilst also throwing in his own challenges.
