Fantastic experience: I hadn’t driven for 18 years since passing my test, and the thought of getting back behind the wheel in London was pretty daunting after learning on the much quieter Isle of Wight! Emma Jane was great: really patient, calm and encouraging, and she explained things in a way that made me feel much more at ease. Each lesson built my confidence - with Emma Jane pushing me just the right amount to keep me progressing - and before long I felt much more comfortable driving on London roads. I’m so glad I found Emma Jane; I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs lessons, a refresher or just a boost of confidence.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test first time with 0 faults thanks to the help of Emma! Emma is an amazing instructor, she has been very patient through out my driving experience. Emma has been very easy to get on with each lesson and is very caring and understanding. She has brilliant knowledge and is able to share that with me in a way that I understood in each lesson. She is an incredible instructor, I always felt safe and well-guided during our lessons, and her friendly personality made learning to drive something I actually looked forward to each week ♥️ Unfortunately, I’m moving to a different area so I have to say goodbye, but I honestly couldn’t recommend Emma highly enough to anyone looking for a driving instructor. Fantastic experience: Just finished my refresher driving lessons with Emma (Emma Jane Ashley) in Bexleyheath - I am so glad that I found her. She made me feel at ease immediately even though I was nervous about starting to drive again. She is easy to talk to and a great teacher, she would make lesson plans around my driving goals and reminded me of driving theory that I was rusty on. I now feel confident enough that I have gone out driving by myself a few times. Highly recommend booking lessons with her.

Fantastic experience: After years of putting off learning to drive I decided to finally go for it at the age of 34! I was always nervous to learn to drive but from the moment I met my Emma Jane I knew she was right for me. Emma Jane has been so patient with me and helped me through many driving challenges but also knowing when I needed a good push to challenge my nerves and hesitation! I can’t thank Emma Jane enough, she also got me to eat a banana after 20+ years!! I recommend Emma to anyone who wants to learn to drive an automatic. She’s fantastic a fantastic teacher. Fantastic experience: I’ve had the best experience with Emma Jane! I cannot speak highly enough about how supportive and informative Emma Jane is. I was starting to doubt myself in terms of my driving and Emma Jane has helped me regain my confidence. From the little time I have been doing my lessons with Emma Jane I have enjoyed every second. On test day I was very nervous and she picked me up early and spent to the time with me to calm me down and inform me with everything I would need to know when going in for my test. By the time it was time for my test I felt 100% ready because of Emma Jane. I then passed my test with 0 minors!! If you are looking for automatic driving lessons, there’s no other option in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: I have had a number of instructors over the years and I can wholeheartedly recommend Road Rules as the best driving school. When I first started with Rhys, I had a test booked a couple of months away and while he tried to ensure I was ready for this date, he also provided very honest feedback and when it was clear passing that test wasn’t likely, he made a clear plan of action. I’ve never doubted any advice or guidance Rhys has given because he has your best interests at heart and is also very experienced so caters each lesson to your strengths and weaknesses. Rhys strives to maintain good driving standards at all times so the focus isn’t just on passing your test but also to make sure you’re a good and safe driver after you pass. He is also always punctual, never cancels on you and goes above and beyond to work around your schedule. We have had many lessons at 7am, on the weekend and even starting at 6:15am on test day. Rhys is an amazing instructor but also a lovely person, he is great company and makes lessons not feel so daunting. If you ever need advice on how to leave your job and find a better one whilst learning how to drive then Rhys is your man! He also gives a great and effective team talk before your test. I really appreciate your patience and support Rhys, thank you so much once again!

Fantastic experience: I have been let down by a previous instructor so I decided to give Road Rules a go. My instructor Rhys was fantastic from the first lesson. He was able to immediately identify all of my weak points and come up with an action plan that suited me. I was truly impressed of how quickly and diligently he picked up on my bad habits, having previously been told by my first instructor that all I needed to do was carry on practicing and waiting for that final click. I had my test booked with only 6 weeks left to get me up to speed to a “test ready” standard and Rhys genuinely cared about my progress, which is rare to find. He sacrificed his time off to fit me in on a couple of Sundays, to make sure we get in as much practice as possible. The results were quick to show, I felt so much more confident in my driving and safe in my decisions - something I absolutely lacked in all of the 70 + hours I did with my previous instructor. He values safety more than anything and it is clear he wants his students to be genuinely good drivers, beyond just passing a test - which I think is so important. I managed to pass my test first time, and I have to give Rhys credit for all of the help he provided along the way. His teaching style and perseverance was exactly what I needed!

Fantastic experience: I have passed my exam with no issues and have been equipped with the knowledge to become a good driver. The skills that Rees helped me develop are genuine and help me in my day to day driving now. Something that makes driving safe and enjoyable, in various scenarios and conditions. To me, that is the greatest piece of value that every new driver needs to be equipped with, and should hope to get from an instructor. Rees is never late, always positive, always patient and supportive. Passing the exam isn’t just a matter of skills, it is also a test of how you function in a stressful environment. Again that is when you want Rees as your mentor and coach. He knows how to prepare you to pass your exam and feel comfortable on the road. I have heard of people who pass their exam and then struggle with real-life driving – if you don’t want to find yourself in that situation, I strongly suggest you wait for Rees's next availability time slots and book your time with him, don’t rush through picking your instructor, I am glad I didn’t. Thank you Rees!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend highly enough. My nieces and nephews have all used this. Great lessons, only recommend you for your test when ready, without booking unnecessary lessons. Very approachable and knowledgeable. My lot all passed first time.
