He gives amazing feedback on the spot to improve both economical driving and safe driving. He's an excellent conversationalist who makes you feel relaxed and confident behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: Needed a short-notice booking for a driving test. After contacting a few other instructors who were all fully booked I found James. Submitted an enquiry via his website, and received a polite and courteous phone call the same day, where we discussed my situation and needs. When taking the pre-test lesson/direction, James was very patient, knowledgable and encouraging, offering great advice and supportive pointers and tips. His approach and manner is faultless, and I can strongly recommend that anyone looking for refresher lessons or a car for a short-notice test should definitely get in touch.

Fantastic experience: James is such a lovely guy. I had my test booked at short notice and he agreed to come all the way from derby to Leicester to lend his car for test. Spent 30 minutes driving with him before the test and he explained everything so well even in a short period of time. I wonder how good he must be during driven lessons. Such a lovely and professional guy. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Well to say the least the best experience I could of had. I've had a couple driving instructors but I never really felt a massive amount of improvement down to a few underlying issues. James' approach was beyond perfect for myself, he is calming and patient which was two things that helped immeasurably. His councling background also helped me more than I could of imagined, not only did I pass my test first time but I left feeling more whole and in a better mindset from the previous years in my life. Fantastic experience: Had 12 lessons with James and i can say he’s the only instructor i will ever recommend to anyone i know that’s learning to drive. He made sure to help me through every step patiently. When it came to my test he really stuck his leg out for me in order to get the test done and i passed on the 24th of feb with 2 minors. Really recommend him to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my short notice driving test first time with James as my instructor, after only three lessons with him! I honestly can’t recommend GP driving school and James enough. He is so knowledgeable, reassuring and professional, and we always had a good chat over the course of our lessons. I can’t thank him enough for the knowledge, safety and confidence that he equipped me with. If in any doubt about who to choose for your lessons, go with GP! Undoubtedly the best in the area and I will be recommending GP driving school to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test today with a little over 17 hours of tuition with James. Lessons are very constructive, stretching my ability whilst being supportive. James has been very flexible in terms of location and I am grateful for this. The use of a high-end car makes for a comfortable and enjoyable environment. It has been a pleasure learning alongside a well-experienced instructor and my first-time pass is testament to James' expertise.

Fantastic experience: Been riding motorcycles since '04,so car lessons was a bit unnerving,at first,but after the first lesson, instructor told me I had nothing to worry about. Instructor was awesome Due to pandemic, I passed 3rd time lucky. Would very very highly recommend
