Fantastic experience: Darren’s been absolutely brilliant as a driving instructor. Really patient and calm, which made such a difference, especially as I had to unlearn a lot and start fresh. He’s proper supportive and takes the time to explain everything clearly. You can tell he’s a perfectionist, and that comes through in his lessons. Everything’s done properly, which makes you feel a lot more confident going into the test. He’s encouraging every step of the way, and especially on test day when the nerves kick in. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: As an older woman 55 actually! I have just passed my driving test! When I first started driving with Walden Driving School I did not even know how to use the pedals. Darren is patient and tailors his teaching to suit you, so you feel comfortable and confident but also very comprehensive, teaching you absolutely everything you need to know. Fantastic experience: I am so glad I decided to take driving lessons again last year, at age 28!! Just proves it’s never too late, and I am so pleased I chose to have lessons with Darren from Walden Driving School. He has supported me and taught me everything I needed to know to pass first time today in Bishops Stortford. Darren has been great to learn with. Fantastic experience: Had the fortune of being taught by Darren, who I got along well with and found to be an excellent teacher. He paced my learning well so I could consolidate what I already knew and become more familiar with the roads, manoeuvres and rules that allowed me to pass my test without ever feeling out of my comfort zone or in anyway unsure about what to do. He’s even more thorough than the examiners themselves so you’ve found you’ll mentally have ironed out even the slightest mistakes which makes the test a breeze. Can highly recommend to anyone in Saffron Walden / Bishops Stortford / Cambridge area.
