Fantastic experience: I took a category C training course with Sam and Richard last week and passed first time. This was all thanks to Sam's patient and careful instruction which not only enabled me to pass smoothly but made me better and safer driver overall. I would not hesitate to recommend a course here to anyone who needs to learn to drive an HGV.

Negative experience: I paid a deposit of £300 but was unable to continue due to very high blood pressure revealed at medical. WDT refused to refund me referring to the 't&c's' which states that all deposits are 'non returnable'

Fantastic experience: From the off, both Richard and Sam were very professional. Sam is brilliant, he stays calm and explains everything in a down to earth way. Richard made the whole process from start to finish nice and easy. I did my class 2 in December 2021. Very smooth, easy and professional the whole time, and at a competitive price too. Thank you guys again!

Fantastic experience: From the very first call to the moment I passed my test Richard and Sam have been fantastic. They happily answered all my questions and Sam was especially patient during the 'learning' stage of driving the lorry! I can happily say I passed first time and I can't recommend them enough. Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Sam at WDT. He's very professional, very calm, very patient and just an all round lovely guy to be around; necessary when spending 20-odd hours in a truck cab with someone! Well priced and highly recommended! Fantastic experience: I passed HGV Class 2 ( Cat C ) today first time with Western Driver Training. Very happy with the training with Richard, he pushes you to reach a high level of competency and understanding of what’s required to pass the test. I really feel I picked the best instructor in Bristol and I will not go with anyone else should I require any further training. I couldn’t of done it without him.. at the ripe old age of 49! Fantastic experience: Richard made me fell very relaxed and comfortable whilst the same time chanlaged and pushed me. Fantastic experience: I have taken my cat C and C+E with western driver training. Richard is very patient instructor and explains everything very well. He makes you feel relaxed when training and explains everything that is expected from you and your test. I would highly recommend him for any LGV training. Thank you Richard for making me have both class 2 and class 1 pass first time in a month.

Fantastic experience: I passed both my class 2 and class 1 first time with Richard, Both times he has been very professional. He was Very clear with what I had to do from getting my medical sorted all the way through to getting me test ready for my class 1. Fantastic experience: Really pleased with my experience of Western Driver Training. I found Richard to be very prompt, helpful and accommodating when enquiring about and booking my Cat C & CPC course. Richard is also clearly an experienced instructor and was able patiently guide me through training to my test which was delivered to a high standard. Richard is very personable which makes the whole thing easier and more enjoyable. I would happily recommend to anyone and will return for certain if I am in need of any further driver training.

Fantastic experience: I contacted western driver for a category C training. I was given clear details about what to do first, etc. Once my theory tests done, I was booked for a 3 day driving course. The driving was on a one to one basis, which is ideal I think. During my driving course, Richard was very patient, gave me clear instructions and guided me well during the different situations I met on the road. Clearly he has lot of expertise. We trained a lot on the routes that I drove during my test. This obviously also helped me to pass my licence the first time. All together, It has been a very positive experience. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time thanks to Richard. He was clear with his instructions, and was very patient when it came to having to repeat himself on a few occasions. I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone who wishes to do their lorry licence.

Negative experience: I am VERY disssappointed with my dealings with Western Driver Training and would not recommend them at all. I was put under pressure to make a payment by Richard who wasn't very understanding of my situation or polite for that matter. I was given the impression that he would be fulfilling the training and wasn't informed that he would be acting as a booking agent for a different company (Driver Hire, Church Road) and was made to pay £425 where the price of the course was £350. After having explained my situation to him he could have informed me that I could have paid a deposit of £100 and then made a final payment while on the course which wouldn't have been a problem for me. Western Driver Training made £75 for sending off an email. Very dishonest and lacking integrity of any kind! Very angry and disappointed in getting ripped off and again would NOT recommend anyone deal with them!
