His teaching was absolutely top-notch—he made sure I understood every aspect of safe and confident driving. Afzal was excellent at explaining road procedures, from mirror-signal-position-speed to understanding different road signs, warning signs, and orders. He really broke down the importance of rectangle and square signs, which provide vital information and directions, helping me build strong road awareness. The crash course was extremely effective, and I learned so much in a short time. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and patient instructor who gives you the best chance of passing first time, I highly recommend Afzal Ahmed!

Negative experience: Started off well but quickly went down hill, once instructor saw I had the money to bulk buy lessons. It felt like he exploited the situation and became very lazy during lessons to try and get more money out of me. During lessons he was constantly on his phone not paying attention to the road and would panic and grab the wheel when he realised he had forgotten to pay attention despite there being nothing to correct. When it came to doing my test, I did a 1 hour lesson before hand where my instructor told me several things that I was doing wrong, that were 'basic' and that I should know from day one - despite me having around 35 hours of lessons with him. He would cancel lessons unexpectedly and overall was a massive waste of my time. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor and brilliant service. Ahmed was a calm, understanding and supportive instructor, the car was great. Though not the cheapest option it is worth it so that you can pass and there is no other feeling like it! Highly recommend.

He is professional, reliable and a very knowledgeable and confident teacher. Fantastic experience: If u looking for best driving lessons in Leeds and surrounding areas, Horsforth, Burley, Bramley then RARA is the best choice.,They can make u super pass, intensive driving lessons or crash driving course. In my first driving lesson with Ahmed, I have learned way more than I had learned with my previous instructor in 10 driving lessons. From the first driving lesson with him he makes me driving from the first minute till the last minute, no time wasting or whiteboard session, he would give me the instructions while driving, when it is safe to do so, which helped me developing my multitasking skills needed for driving. He is always conscious and his mind is always present. I felt very safe learning with him because he is always awake. He is very skilled and experienced driving instructor, knows how and when to tell you the information and repeats it while you drive until it became part of your subconscious, and can easily predict and figure my weakness points and explains to me clearly how to fix them. His technique in driving lessons and manoeuvres are more intuitive easy to follow. He started preparing me to pass the car prcatical driving test from first lesson, and helped in finding a quick early driving test slot after the lockdown, he managed to get me a test date in August. He saves me time and money by not wasting time from the driving lessons, he would me to watch videos on youtube about “show me tell me” and junctions or theoretical bits that I can do on my own before the driving lessons to skip the theoretical part. His car is perfectly easy to drive, can hardly stall, perfect for learner car drivers and perfect to do exam in it He has a few personal qualities which makes him a great driving instructor, he is calm, patient, humble and cheerful - makes the lessons less stressful-, he cares a lot about me passing more than making money, most importantly he would go the extra mile for you. He is super knowledgeable of all driving test routes and what are tricky parts and made me practice again and again until I can blindly do it. With Ahmed I have developed my driving skills and confidence very quickly, I never felt stressed at all with him I feel I was so lucky to find him, I would definitely recommend Ahmed to anyone as the best driving instructor. Fantastic experience: RARA are an amazing driving school! I wasn't particularly confident before I started with them. However, their organised, professional and clear teaching approach enabled me to be test ready. A special mention must go to Ahmed who is THE BEST instructor. He is attentive, alert and knows exactly what needs to be taught. He tailored the lessons to my weaknesses and understood the pitfalls and challenges of driving. I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL ENOUGH!!! In addition, they are very good at arranging test dates and are super-organised on test days . THANK YOU SO MUCH RARA :))

Negative experience: Can't drive wasn't training anybody and cut me up on Kirkstall Rd no indication just pulled into my lane definitely wouldn't want them training people to drive till they learn how to themselves plus I thought it was illegal to mess with mobiles behind the wheel lead by example

Fantastic experience: Rara driving school is the best driving school in Leeds and Bradford. They teach from 5am onwards, which is amazing. Quite expensive but good value for money, definitely wont regret. I recommend giving them a try. I managed to pass in my first attempt.
