Fantastic experience: Steve is an excellent driving instructor who guided me through some of the more difficult UK roads which are in the South East. His calm nature made learning easy and nerves at a minimum throughout lessons. Do not underestimate how many hours are required to learn to drive properly…most people driving don’t seem to even know what an indicator stick is so thankfully with Steve you will be nicely set for a safe driving future!

Negative experience: If you have all the time and money in the world to learn how to drive, then look no further. We feel that the instructor was happy to go at a snails pace and spent a lot of the lesson waffling. Did not teach manoeuvres until after 60 hours of driving. He was late by 10-20 minutes every week and barely made that time back. He was not supportive of me taking my test even though I had clocked up 6 months and 60+ hours of driving. Driving tests have a current well known wait of 6 months currently. He wanted me to only book when he said I was ready and I felt pressure to have lessons every week or my slot would be given away. A van hit us during a lesson (not my fault) but I was never offered any support after or to delay the lesson to another time. Lastly, very unprofessionally talked about me to other students, who I know personally.

Fantastic experience: If you are serious about passing your road test, Steve is your guy! Will help iron out bad habits and help focus you on the little details that'll help you pass. Steve is professional, knowledgeable, and helped identify and correct my problem areas, which especially made me feel more confident in my parking. He gave a lot of practical advice for the test itself, and I felt confident on the day of my test.
