I had lessons with Angie since August 2024 and took my test February 2025 and passed first try. She is an excellent teacher and helps to explain everything easily. The biggest Thanks to Director Angie Presland who has successfully guided me through all my years of bad habits to completing my ADI Part 2 on the first attempt. The entire team is inspiring and builds your confidence regardless of where your journey begins. I extend enormous thanks the instructor Dave West ADI for his guidance and patience, for use of his car and for attending on the day I passed. Fantastic experience: I don’t think I can truly describe the massive difference Angie has made for my daughters. Her kindness, clarity and flexibility to their learning styles, sprinkled with a bit of no nonsense approach has been fantastic. The innovative way she helped them prepare for their tests, prior to one having confirmation of neurodivergency, is reflective of her skill in adapting her teaching style to each individual. Thank you so much for maintaining your high standards and ensuring they drove to a good standard.

Negative experience: BEWARE! WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND! Angie blamed my daughter for cancelling a session when Angie had cancelled it herself because it was half term and she had family commitments. She then messaged to say she was dropping my daughter because someone had offered her £400 up front for driving lessons, leaving my daughter high and dry with her test approaching! When my partner reminded Angie that our daughter’s test is in July, Angie said she would never have passed anyway and she was taking on the other pupil regardless. Feels very much like someone happy to take advantage of the current high demand for instructors (not to mention the £80 a time fee) with very little thought for the pupils themselves.

Fantastic experience: Just recently passed my driving test for the first time with Angie as my instructor. She was amazing at improving confidence and learning key techniques as well ensuring lessons fit around my lifestyle. Wouldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic experience: I can't believe this day has finally come, I PASSED... me!! The girl who has been trying for over 3 years, who sat 2 theory test. Learning to drive was a real struggle for me but Angie you never gave up on me, you encouraged, praised, sat there with tissue's whilst i sobbed, a paper bag when hyperventilating (lol) you also knew when to give tough love when needed. I have nothing but respect for you, your an amazing instructor who can change method off teaching to suit your students needs. Thank you for never giving up on me, even when I was ready to quit you would always go above and beyond to help. Even tho I didn't finish my journey with you, you never stopped helping. Any student who gets you or one off belt up team are incredibly lucky :)

Fantastic experience: When I started my driving lessons with Angie I was nervous wreck. My previous instructor scared the life out of me. I contacted Angie and she fitted me in the same week (I guess I'm lucky). She is amazing instructor who believes in you even if you don't. Amazingly patient, calm and great teacher. Fantastic experience: George Devon Graham Salisbury Plymouth NEW Posted 7 hours ago I have spent fourteen months training and driving at Belt Up and it has been a real privilege to drive with Angie. She has given just the right amount of support, yet firm and guiding, and all the time spent and advice given has really built up my driving confidence. Angie is a wonderful instructor who is calm and caring, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone, particularly those with Asperger's Syndrome or those just starting out!

Fantastic experience: My best decision in deciding to start training to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) was finding Angie Presland to become my trainer. Angie tailored her training techniques to my learning style. She built my confidence and abilities immediately from One on One lessons, myself sitting in on Angie’s driving lessons (free of charge) and with Angie sitting in on lessons overseeing myself teaching pupils. After getting my first 40 hours training Angie helped me to apply for my PDI Licence which she mentored me through her driving school Belt Up. Again with Angie’s guidance I did the additional 20 hours training so I could apply to take my final Part 3 ADI exam, which I took and passed first time within 4 months of starting my training as a PDI Angie’s training is structured to the individual, every lesson is followed up with a feedback log report, so you know exactly where you are and where you are going with your training. Angie’s enthusiasm for learning and teaching was obvious from our first meeting and her commitment was 100% So if you are considering a career as a driving instructor I totally recommend getting in touch with Angie. Fantastic experience: After previous attempts many years earlier with an uninspiring instructor I had become very apprehensive about driving. Once I worked up the courage and the funds to give it another stab I made sure this time to pick a highly recommended instructor and this led me to Angie. Angie quickly turned me from a nervous wreck behind the wheel to a confident driver. She is very patient, motivating and pushes her pupils to master all aspects of driving. A high standard is expected in every lesson which is great because when it was time for the test everything was very instinctive despite my nerves. Now that I've passed I'm pretty disappointed we won't be able to hangout any more! Thanks for everything Angie!

Fantastic experience: Angie is a top instructor, she gave me a lot of confidence as I was completely new to driving and despite the fact that it took me a long time to pick up she was supportive and patient throughout, and I was soon flying! Definitely recommend!
