Fantastic experience: After two previous attempts at learning to drive and hating every minute of it, I had a completely different experience with Stuart. From the very first lesson, I felt relaxed, supported, and able to properly learn without pressure. Stuart explains everything clearly, is incredibly patient, and creates an environment where you genuinely feel confident behind the wheel. By the time my test came around, I was 100% ready and passed with just 1 minor! His car is easy to drive, and he’s both professional and down-to-earth, someone you actually look forward to learning with. I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Stuart is an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and I feel very lucky to have been able to work with him to pass my driving test (first time!). It was incredibly daunting learning to drive in my 30s but Stuart’s approach and manner were ideal for first putting me at ease and then building confidence and ability. Fantastic experience: Great driving school. Reliable for lessons turning up on time and tries to be a flexible as possible to ensure a weekly lessons. Progressed me through my learning well finding a balance between learning new things while improving on previous lessons. Got me though the final test with just one driver error. Full of useful information and helpful tips not only for driving but cars, insurance etc. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn. Beyond all the things you want from a driving instructor Stuart is straight up one of the friendliest and easy to get on with people I've ever met. Patient with me when I made mistakes and occasionally drove like Uber driver late for his next job.

I have passed first time with only 1 minor fault and I could never have done it without Stuart. Fantastic experience: Stuart is both an amazing driving instructor and an amazing person. As someone with anxiety and dyspraxia, driving always made me nervous and I thought I’d never feel confident sitting behind the steering wheel of a car. From day one, Stuart changed this mindset and built my confidence up from scratch. Over time, when you look back, you’ll realise how far you’ve come on from your first lesson. He helps you to excel in all areas and you will always leave the lesson learning how to do something new or change a bad habit, even if you feel like you had a “bad” day. Without Stuart, I wouldn’t have passed my driving test the first time with no faults. It is a team effort, you put the work into your driving lessons and Stuart will aid you in becoming a confident and safe driver. He is worth every penny and I would recommend him to anyone - especially if you have nerves about driving!

Fantastic experience: I could not have asked for a better driving instructor than Stuart. He was a constantly reassuring and encouraging presence which made it always feel like you were learning to drive as a team. Every new concept was well introduced and no number of questions was too many. Each lesson was always well structured and would vary week on week, meaning that the places where you drive never feel stale. His extensive experience as an instructor combined with in depth knowledge of Sheffield means that you are always well prepared for the complex junctions and roads on your test. Stuart is also a really lovely person who never failed to make me laugh and provide interesting observations. No mistake was ever criticised, and encouragement was always given. If anything in my driving could be improved it never felt like criticism and this helped me grow in confidence, even right at the beginning of the learning process. This confidence enabled me to pass my test first time. I cannot recommend Stuart enough to anyone who is considering learning. He is the exact reassuring presence you need to learn, not just to pass the test but to be a confident and safe driver afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely instructor so patient encouraging and entertaining, definitely would have taken longer to pass without him. If you enjoy a good giggle and someone who makes you feel secure whilst driving definitely worth it. My confidence improved so much, there’s nothing I’m too frightened to attempt now. But thanks to Fox Driver Training I’ve got my license now! Would 100% recommend, absolute best automatic lessons in Sheffield. Fantastic experience: Stuart is an excellent driving instructor with unbelieved knowledge and experience of driving. His experience of the weird and wonderful junctions used on test routes from Middlewood Road will see you very well prepared for anything the test might throw at you. He moves the lessons on at a good pace as you learn all the things you need; no lesson is the same and it’s never boring. He has excellent easy to understand methods for completing the reverse manoeuvres making them easy to learn and repeat. Most importantly he is very patient, no question is too stupid, even if it really is a stupid question.. he’s funny as well, you will have a great time learning with Stuart, I passed on my first attempt which I would not have done without him.

Fantastic experience: Stuart is an exceptional teacher with the patience of a saint and very easy to talk to as well, my lessons always felt like they went really quickly. He explains explains everything really clearly and illustrates what he's talking about by drawing it out in his notebook, which I found super helpful as a more visual learner. He knows exactly what the examiners are looking for and makes sure you're fully equipped for your test. I passed mine today on my first attempt with just 3 minors and I couldn't be more pleased

Fantastic experience: There are no words to describe just how amazing my time was with FOX Driver Training. Stuart is by far the loveliest, most understanding and patient person anybody could have when it comes to learning to drive. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Stuart highly enough! Being in my mid-30s and having learned with a couple of instructors before that didn't suit me, I was feeling anxious about starting lessons again. Stuart put me immediately at ease from our very first email correspondence. His calm, measured approach to teaching helped me make great progress during every lesson. When I made a mistake, his insight into why it happened was always spot on and helped me to avoid it again. Stuart's lessons helped me to be thoroughly prepared on test day and I was able to pass first time.

Fantastic experience: Fox driver training was recommended to me by a colleague, I'm grateful to them for that. I had trouble calming my nerves while driving and had a terrible experience with the previous instructor. Stuart helped me calm my nerves and I started to enjoy being on the road. such an honest human experience I've ever had with someone while working with Stuart. He was always only a text message away from me, he made himself available for lessons and tests accordingly to my needs. His instructions were always clear as every lesson typically starts with a quick summary of how the last lesson went as well as in which areas of driving I must improve to pass my test. I appreciate the honesty and patience. Stuart has helped me a great deal. I highly recommend Fox driver training.

Fantastic experience: I honestly CANNOT recommend Stuart enough! Iv only had a few months worth of lessons and have passed first time round. He’s very calm and clear when explaining and showing what too do, running upto the test I text him at all hours of the day and nothing were too much trouble on answering straight away. Even though Iv passed Stuart has openly said he will help me if I ever needs extra lessons with anything! Thankyou so much I appreciate all the work and time youv put in for me
