Negative experience: Completely unreliable. We have spent months mucking about with him. Cancels last minute and then doesn't rebook for another day, you see him for your next scedualed lesson the following week. When we asked to book 2 lessons a week, he refused. When we had a holiday and wanted to move the lesson to another day that week so my son didn't miss out again he said he would sort it out on their next lesson then told him they he would do it the week before the hokiday then said he was fully booked. (Had given him nearly 3 weeks notice) All of the missed weeks have made it extremely hard to keep momentum. I raised my concerns that my sons confidence wasn't improving and could he book extra lessons (he allowed this once during half term but then cancelled on him again a week or so later) My son has had more weeks of being mucked since moving and he has now told my son to find someone else (i'm assuming this is due to us being in benfleet now and why all his recent lessons kept getting cancelled last minute) This has spanned 6 months Hundreds of £'s spent on sporadic lessons only to keep being let down. Save yourself the money and headache and book in with a someone reliable.

He was so incredibly patient throughout, would always squeeze a lesson in for me with my busy work schedule and would always explain the mistakes I made calmly. After passing my test in August, I still struggled with confidence in my driving and he was recommended to me for some refresher lessons. Fantastic experience: Am not in the habit of writing reviews on the Internet (just dont seem to have the time!) but just wanted to say that I cannot recommend GDL Driving School highly enough. It is not that common to find a driving instructor who is as patient and as thorough as Grant and under his tuition I was able to find the confidence and skills necessary to pass my test. Since learning to drive, I have recommended a couple of friends to GDL Driving School who are making good progress.
