Fantastic experience: Rod is extremely patient, never blames or shouts at you, always calmly asks what you think went wrong and helps you learn at your own pace. I was able to learn at my pace and was able to pass my practicle test first time. Thank you to Rod to help me to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Rod is an excellent instructor, knowledgeable, calm, friendly and tailors lessons and learning to the drivers’ needs. He always tried to accommodate changes to schedules which cropped up with school/ exams timetables etc. Great communication from a parent’s perspective too and some really helpful detail in preparing for the test and logistics for it. Fantastic experience: Rod - The Legend The man, the myth, the legend, Rod! Having just passed my driving test yesterday (first time - but who’s counting) I felt obliged to share the legendary valour of my instructor, Rod. He took me as a learner driver with a few hours (and dodgy habits) to passing a driving test. His infinite knowledge of driving techniques (like witch’s head when blind spot checking) as well as his *coughs* humour, were pivotal for me to pass with 4 minors. And he bought me an Oreo McFlurry too (no he didn’t bribe me with that, either…). He also insisted on paying for it, highlighting his honour as a man. So, if you’re looking for someone to teach you driving from the ground up, or a quick refresher - look no further than this man here. Forever indebted to you, sir!

Fantastic experience: Rod is an amazing instructor and helped me to pass first time. He’s a very likeable and friendly guy who makes driving lessons more enjoyable and not something to stress about. He really helps you to nail down every aspect of driving to ensure you are test ready. If there is anything which you are struggling on he will help you to focus on them things and tackle them until you are able to confidently do them. Fantastic experience: Rod was always really relaxed when I was learning to drive with him, which in turn kept me calm. He was kind and considerate, and never made me feel anxious or that I couldn’t share any worries I had. I learnt a lot with him very quickly, including theory test content as he would often ask me questions to help me practise. He was also incredible when it came to getting a test for me, as forced cancellations and limited days I was available made it very difficult on my end. I am very grateful to him for helping me to pass first time. I would definitely recommend Rod as a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic instructor who makes learning to drive fun! I passed first time thanks to his help, and he always has a very calming presence while in the passenger seat. I cannot recommend Rod enough, particularly for anyone who values a good sense of humour, clearly spoken instruction, and a relaxing demeanour. In fact, you won't want to pass because you know you'll miss his weekly lessons! Definitely 10/10, you will not regret having him as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: Rod was an amazing instructor. As a motorcyclist I was nervous starting in cars but rod made my previous experience feel respected and valued as I progressed through my lessons. He was kind and fun the entire time and at no point in my lessons did I feel patronised or frustrated, if there was a particular manoeuvre I was struggling on rod would support and guide me without pushing me to the point of irritation. Ended up passing with only two minors; Truly an excellent instructor.

Fantastic experience: First of all I would love to appreciate Rod for his absolute work and a big thank you for helping me out to pass my test .Without him I don’t think I would’ve passed my test . The way he taught and how calmly he managed everything was wonderful . He is patient at any point and never let me get panicked in any situation . Fantastic experience: I passed my test 3 years ago and haven’t driven since. I needed to drive for a new job so booked in 3 refresher lessons with Rod. I was extremely nervous about driving again and Rod immediately made me feel confident and comfortable. He was very patient and very informative. I have dyslexia (so find processing information difficult) and Rod was able to help me visual and understand what I needed to know and do and adapted to my way of learning. I would highly recommend Rod as an instructor - he was amazing. Thank you Rod, I feel so much more confident and ready to take on the roads.
