From the very first lesson, he created a calm and encouraging environment that made me feel confident behind the wheel. His teaching strategy is nothing short of superb, clear, patient, and incredibly well-structured. Ian has a real gift for breaking down complex maneuvers into manageable steps, always adapting his approach to suit my learning pace. His friendly and professional manner made every lesson enjoyable, and I genuinely looked forward to each one. Thanks to Ian, I not only passed my test but with 0 faults. Fantastic experience: 10/10 instructor! Was so polite every lesson and always made time in the run up to my test! He teaches you everything u need to know and if u wanna do something he will do it! He is good at teaching with clutch control, all parking skills and even some motorway skills! Learning with Ian made me pass with 1 minor! I recommend him to anybody wanting a fun and friendly instructor!!

Fantastic experience: 100% would recommend, had an instructor who messed me about weeks before my test leaving me with very little time to find a new instructor with my test round the corner. Luckily found Ian who helped me passed my test first time in only a handful of lessons. Managed his own personal and work schedule to suit my availability and even spent hours of his own time looking for cancellations for me. couldn’t be more thankful.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Ian as your driving instructor enough. He makes sure to refine his teaching to whatever suits you the most, is always calm and relaxed, slowly and clearly walks you through anything needed and is the reason I was able to pass first time. Always had a good chat with him too.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test with Leatherland Driving Academy. I couldn't recommend a better driving instructor. I started my lessons two weeks prior to my test and managed to pass first time.

Fantastic experience: Ian leatherland is an amazing instructor always gave me help in situations I was unsure of how to deal with and answered every question I asked with a clear understanding. Very supporting with things I was unsure on and we worked on it so I could get a hang of it and picked up on mistakes I made and soon corrected them. I 100% highly recommend leatherland driving academy. Passed first time with only 3 minors.
