Fantastic experience: Darren was the perfect instructor for me; serious when it was needed, but also made things light hearted and really tried to help me understand what to do by using visuals on the iPad, and replaying parts of my lesson from his cameras to help me see what went wrong/well. Fantastic experience: Darren was just awesome from start to finish. I came to him having pretty low confidence after a stressful two week intensive course with another instructor and a failed first test. In just a few lessons, Darren ensured my confidence was up and that I actually understood how to do everything naturally. This meant I passed on my first test with him and feel like a far safer and more knowledgeable driver. Thank you Darren!

Fantastic experience: Darren was recommended about a year ago to me by a friend who had passed under his instruction. Being a late learner in my 30's felt really daunting, however Darren was an brilliant teacher - down to earth, patient, friendly and excellent at explaining things when I was struggling to understand. 9 months later I passed my test first time with only a few faults. I couldn't believe it! All the hard work paid off! Can't thank him enough!

Despite having driven previously on the left, I was always dubious and conscious about driving on the right - my previous driving experience was not in the UK so I had to "relearn" my driving. Fantastic experience: I definitely never thought i'd be able to pass the driving test. Having failed before, my confidence was shot and I had completely given up. Enter the fantastic Darren! He was easy going and supportive. I've had driving instructors which have taught me to 'pass the test' (or so they thought) but this time I actually learnt to drive. I passed with 2 minors and feel like I've definitely put my nerves behind me! I'd recommend Darren to everybody learning to drive, it doesn't matter if you've already started or never set foot in a car. Definitely the best teacher I've ever had!!!

Fantastic experience: I was always nervous about beginning driving lessons and what kind of a driving instructor I would have. Darren was recommended to me by one of my mothers friends. My brother also started learning before me and said that he was a really good instructor. Upon beginning my driving lessons Darren is a brilliant teacher with knowledge of the roads and the vehicle. I am feeling more confident in my performance and his methods of training have even been him getting out and setting up miniature obstacles to help me learn in different ways showing his dedication. If you are struggling with something he has many different methods that he tries to teach you so you have different choices with the problem you are facing and every time one of them has helped. He is friendly easy going, always on time and a fun person to have showing you the road for the first time. I feel I am nearing my practical test quickly because of him. He knows what your needing improvement in and how best to go about improving it . if i was smart enough to actually of past my theory test then i would probably already be taking the practical because hes that good of an instructor , he is also really easy to get along with as well.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend for an instructor! Darren is very patient and lets you undertake the lessons at your own pace, and will always make you feel at ease. He will always tell you what to improve on and remind you of the do's and don'ts when faced with any situation. Very easy to get along with, will always be honest - I enjoyed every lesson I've ever had with him. He helped me past my test first time! Great guy.
