HMT - Hertfordshire Minibus training and assessment

Fantastic experience: I have taken lessons with HSM for the B+E test. Dan is an excellent instructor and really helped me overcome some of the challenges I was having. Also, the vehicles, trailer provided were outstanding. In addition to this, they took every precaution necessary re: hygiene and safety at all times which provided a lot of reassurance. When I failed my test, they moved heaven and earth to get me booked back in as soon as possible. I could not rate these guys highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Super easy to book and travel to, lovely people and Dan is a great instructor. Would definitely recommend for trailer license I passed after 1 day of lessons

Fantastic experience: After having some previous difficulty obtaining my C1 for work purposes, I approached HSM for help. Offering a 10% discount for NHS staff was great, and I was put at ease thanks to my instructor Roy. After using a different company before and failing my C1 test my confidence was shaken, but Roy helped me get that confidence back. He highlighted areas I was struggling with and offered advice and insight on how to overcome these difficulties. Thanks to all this, at the end of my training with HSM I passed my C1 practical test with 0 faults. A wonderful family business that truly wants students to succeed, can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn or upgrade your driving skills. The instructors were friendly and helpful, well organized and dedicated to their job, the vehicles are in good condition. I have taken the 2 days course for a C1 lorry driving license and through out the course I felt they covered everything I needed to know in order to pass the practice test.

Fantastic experience: Took some refresher HGV training with instructor matt Who tailored it to my needs. Excellent training with so much extra knowledge gained. Matt is very professional instructor with so many years of expertise in all HGV vehicles. If anyone wanting to do any hgv training I couldn’t recommend anyone better give Hsm a call. Any further training I will always use Hsm thanks.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough and easy-to-understand preparation for my test. The instructors are not only good at explaining the ins and outs of the test, but are also familiar with the locations you will be tested at.

Fantastic experience: A really good and professional company. I did my bus PSV test with Matt, a really nice guy with a lot of patience. Saw others from the company being taught in HGV and trailer reversing all at their yard. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my B+E today after a 1.5 day training course and test with very little experience towing, had the pleasure of meeting Dan and Matt on separate days and couldn't fault either of them, both really professional, good teachers and I would highly recommend. Will definitely be sending my misses to do her training with them when she wants to do it.

Fantastic experience: I completed my D1 minibus training with Matt over the course of 3 days and he was extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful. We practiced test routes which was great as I was unfamiliar with the area and it put me more at ease! It was an enjoyable few days learning so I would definitely recommend using HSM driver training. Fantastic experience: I have just finished my 3 days of mini bus training and have passed first time. I had Matt train me over the 3 days and he was excellent. Matt made me feel very relaxed and was very knowledgeable. He took me round all the routes that I could have had on my test so I was familiar with the roads. I would definitely recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my driving lessons with the harpenden school of motoring. Not only was Matt really friendly but importantly he also gave great driving instruction; he explained things very clearly and was always happy to tailor his approach to help me with any areas which I struggled with. I started lessons at the end of September and just over two months later I'd passed my test first time, with 0 minors, so I really couldn't recommend HSM more highly!
