Fantastic experience: I've got experience learning with three teachers overall, and I can say that while the first two I studied with were fine, David stands out as a really exceptional teacher. He is highly professional, makes the most of every minute of every lesson, and is very observant, always looking for weaknesses in my driving and helping me find practical ways to improve them. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me get ready for the test, which I passed with just one minor.

Fantastic experience: David is an excellent teacher, patient, calm and professional. He was very helpfull and understanding when due to covid my tests were being moved and delayed. This was even more significant because I was quite far from where he usually works but I specifically wanted his tuition because of friends recommendations. He always sent through lesson times each week helping me stay organised and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone learning or looking to brush up. THANKS David!

Fantastic experience: David is an excellent driving instructor, he is very friendly and professional. After a 5 year break from driving I was looking to regain my confidence and gain some experience of driving on larger roads. David was very encouraging and knowledgeable and helped me to get over the nervousness of having not driven in a while. He was very calm and supportive and was exactly what I needed to be able to get out on the roads independently after passing my test 3 years ago. I work full-time but he was very flexible and able to provide tuition at weekends to fit around me.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend David enough, it's definitely worth waiting on the list to get booked in (he's fully booked for a reason!). Fantastic experience: I really can't thank or recommend David enough. David is very patient, understanding ,calm and easy to get along with. He is very professional, fairly priced and flexible around lesson times. He would often spend his own time after lessons to go over things I was unsure of. Fantastic experience: Passed 1st time with the 'all lessons, all tests' package. Couldn't recommend David enough. He taught me not just how to pass the test but how to become a confident and competent driver. Very easy person to get along with, and remains calm and patient in all situations. I was very apprehensive to start driving and could never imagine passing, but David is so helpful and reassuring. I would advise everyone to do the Pass Plus - David taught me how to confidently approach long journeys and motorways, but it also provided me with fantastic experience that I can now draw upon for years to come. Fantastic experience: I could not recommend David Convery Driving Tuition any more, or thank him enough for having the patience and faith in me which allowed me to pass my theory and practical test first time with only 4 minors. For me, what makes David stand out in comparison to other driving instructors is that he doesn't just teach you to drive so that you pass your test, but rather he teaches you so that you are a good all-round driver so that you have great knowledge, understanding and skill for when you are on the roads by yourself so that you can be safe and responsible. Many a lesson David sat with me after my lesson was over and explained things clearly to me all in his own time which shows how passionate he is about getting his students to the best standard of driving possible. He is also extremely organised and records his information which means he knows exactly what needs to be done on each lesson, repeating things where necessary. His communication is also excellent which meant you always knew when you had a lesson, and he is also very flexible and tries to fit lessons fairly around all of his students different commitments. David takes so much pride in his work and this shines through which makes for a really enjoyable lesson, despite the driving lesson nerves. I would fully recommend David to anyone if they wish to achieve a high level of driving standard, have a patient, flexible and understanding instructor as well as a high chance of passing 1st time. As an extremely nervous learner driver with zero confidence or previous driving experience, I cant thank David enough for getting me to pass my test first time as a confident road conscious driver who now loves driving.

Fantastic experience: I began taking driving lessons with David Convery after becoming fed up with public transport. He came highly recommended to me by another of his former students who had passed their test first time. I had been quite reluctant up until this point and lacked confidence. However, with careful and attentive mentoring, my confidence steadily increased. David has a highly professional yet friendly attitude, which makes for both a safe and pleasant driving experience. David shows a great deal of understanding in regards to the stress that can come with the initial stages of learning to drive, and offers reassurance to calm nerves. His instructions are clear and direct, and with his guidance I was able to feel in control at all times. David demonstrated patience when I experienced difficulty in negotiating large roundabouts. The problem was such that I had considered not proceeding with further lessons, however, David’s resolve and encouragement kept me going. He is intuitive in regards to knowing when to push a student to the next level and when to take a more steady approach. David has a great sense of when a student is ready to take their test and because of this, when I eventually made the journey to the test centre I was able to pass first time with only three minor faults. Taking a notable pride in his work, David steers his students not only to pass their test, but to do so comfortably, and ultimately as safe, responsible drivers. He is a great instructor and as a result I have recommended him to younger family members who were considering driving lessons. I am immensely grateful that David maintained his faith in me, particularly during the periods I suffered from self-doubt. If you are willing to put the effort in, there is every chance you will pass your test first time, and certainly to an exceptional standard. Thank you, David!

Fantastic experience: Firstly I would like to thank David for such a good driving tuition service, that managed to get my self through learning how to drive resulting in my self passing first time. I took standard lessons and the pass plus scheme with David and would highly recommend any new learners looking for a reliable instructor to go with David because he provides an excellent service in both standard lessons and the pass plus scheme. I would also like to highly recommend once passed your test to take the pass plus scheme with David as it will boost your experience and confidence with more complex roads by a lot like it did with mine. He is a calm instructor with good driving tuition skills like helping to build my driving confidence up, which I previously had very little of. He is very flexible with his lesson times and availability so that you can fit it in around your work or study. David will get you through your test, but most importantly making sure you are a safe driver, whilst also making sure you find driving fun!

Fantastic experience: I took an intensive course with David over the summer and also a Pass Plus course. I was an incredibly nervous and hesitant driver (I'd had bad experiences with driving in the past!) but David was very patient and made me feel relaxed. He's not the kind of instructor who shouts or loses his cool, instead he was all about positive re-enforcement and understanding your limits whilst pushing you when you really needed it. Not only is he patient but he's very thorough as well and teaches you to a high standard. As such I felt well prepared for my test and passed first time. I can't recommend David enough!

Fantastic experience: After stopping driving for a number of years I decided to take a refresher course and chose David as he offered a refresher service through his website. I am extremely pleased with this decision as I feel far more comfortable behind the wheel than I did previously. David identified the areas I was weak in and dedicated specific lessons to those areas which in turn helped me build more confidence when driving. I have already recommended and would recommend David to both people looking to learn and to people like myself who wish to get back on the road.

Fantastic experience: David was a fantastic instructor, very calm and patient, good fun to be with and puts you right at ease. He explains everything very clearly meaning it takes less time to understand things and giving more time to practice.
