LDC Driving School - Craig Maitland

Fantastic experience: Craig is a friendly, knowledgeable, good & calm instructor that makes learning to drive a joy. He has relaxed way of teaching & does not overload you with too much unnecessary information or stress you when he points out your mistakes. I passed with him on my first try and 100% recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive. He is a brilliant instructor.

Fantastic experience: Over the years I have has a few different driving instructors until I found Craig. I knew on my first lesson that he was the instructor for me ! He doesn’t give you information overload and simply tells you how it is and how it should be.I would highly recommend having lessons with Craig..

He went above and beyond to help teach me strategies to overcome my nerves as an anxious driver who had put off learning to drive for years. I passed my test on the first attempt, something I had thought was out of reach. Lessons were fun, enjoyable and stress-free. Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Craig enough. I had left learning to drive until my late 40's and was extremely nervous about driving. Craig took the time to help me work through my nerves and was very patient even when I kept getting the same things wrong. Delighted to say I passed my test and it's opened up a whole new world for me.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Craig enough as a driving instructor. If you're neuro-divergent/have learning difficulties, he is extremely understanding and patient, takes the time to figure out what your learning style is and actually seems to really enjoy the challenge. It's been great to be instructed by someone who seems to enjoy being a driving instructor and really encourages their students to be the best drivers that they can be. I have two autistic sons and a toddler, which can make relying on public transport really stressful and restrictive, so having a driving license and the safety of a car is going to make a dramatic difference to the quality of our family life, and can't stress how much it's broadened our horizons. Thanks again Craig :)

Fantastic experience: A great driving instructor, very understanding of people who cry at everything as well (on hand with a tissue and some words of encouragement) couldn’t recommend him enough - not only to get you through your driving test but to teach you how to drive safe and well for life ☺️ Would give 10 stars if that was an option!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic. I'd tried other instructors but none of them put me at ease as much as Craig. His way of instructing is exceptional and he has endless patience. I never thought I'd be able to drive but he made it a reality and the confidence I built behind the wheel is 100% attributed to his guidance. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I only had a very short amount of time getting lessons from Craig and in that time my confidence behind the wheel came on leaps and bounds. I would recommend Craig to anyone learning to drive as he is calm and patient and goes the extra mile to help you learn not like other instructors that just want your money.

Fantastic experience: Craig is an excellent driving instructor. My son passed first time. Craig is great with learners who have additional needs and is able to break down instructions to make them understandable. Would highly recommend for learners. I will be using Craig again for my other son.

Fantastic experience: I had been doing driving lessons with Craig for a good couple of years and I really do have to commend him, he is a fantastic driving instructor with the patience of a saint, can’t do enough to help you feel confident on lessons and the day of your test, 10/10 from me thanks again craig for helping me pass my test!
