Fantastic experience: I had Automatic driving lessons with John at Quails Driving School and from the very start he was incredibly patient with me. I'm someone who suffers with anxiety and have had bad experiences with driving instructors in the past, but I can hands down say that John's patience and friendly, calm attitude during my lessons is what helped me pass second time.

Fantastic experience: I had Ian Clarke as my driving instructor and have passed my test the second time. Ian is an amazing instructor, I was very nervous about driving and he has made me feel confident and is very supportive when teaching. Couldn’t recommend him enough! If you are nervous about driving he makes sure you feel completely safe. He is an incredible instructor and gives you all the knowledge you could possibly want when driving!

Fantastic experience: I learnt with John Dennison and he was phenomenal. I was such a nervous driver and after coming so close to passing before the pandemic, I was learning in a new area and needed my confidence rebuilding. He managed to pass me first time in 4 months! I can’t recommend John highly enough - don’t hesitate to use this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today with only 4 minors !!!!!!!!! If you want someone who is funny, easy going and a pleasure to drive With I couldn’t’t thank and recommend Ian Clarke enough. He was the best instructor I could have wished for. So calm and patient with me at all times and I always felt so comfortable and safe in the car. He answered all my questions and I feel so comfortable to be able to go and drive on my own now. Fantastic experience: I started lessons with Ian Clarke after having a bad experience with a previous driving instructor. Ian brought my confidence right back up from rock bottom and I passed first time! Ian was patient, calming, understanding and an excellent motivator. He helped me gain all the skills and knowledge I needed to pass. I used to dread lessons with my previous instructor but I thoroughly enjoyed all of them with Ian and I shall miss him. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test this morning, 2nd try, 6 minor faults. When I was looking for lessons during the lockdown backlog the company were very helpful and kept me in the loop so I could get on the road asap. Over the course of my learning, Ian Clarke was my instructor. I always felt reassured, safe and encouraged to progress and explore new situations on the road. He was kind, funny, clear and honestly has become a wonderful friend to me. Not only did I feel test ready in good time before my test date but I feel prepared for situations well beyond the scope of the test requirements. I cannot reccomend him highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test on my first try after learning with Dan for the past year (in between lockdowns!) Such a patient but fun instructor who doesn’t mind the silly questions. Made me feel at ease in the car and confident going to my test after plenty of thorough practice scenarios. Would recommend Dan to anyone that is wanting to start learning to drive and is a bit anxious or nervous; he will have you relaxed and confident in no time!

Fantastic experience: If you want a top quality instructor, ask for Dan! Passed first time because of the lessons with him and I managed to get only two minors on the day. He makes you feel relaxed during the lessons, he’s patient, and you can ask him as many questions as you want about driving, regardless of how stupid or silly they sound in your head. Honestly genuine guy, really down to earth and a great teacher overall. Seriously, Dan is your man. Thank you for all your advice and helping me get my license. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test for the first time with only four minors. Thanks to Dan who was very patient with me and I was never scared to ask him questions. We did a few lessons after lockdown and before my test so I was confident I will pass and wasn't stressed. I would definitely recommend Dan to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my test first time with Ian Clarke. I am so grateful to Ian for his patience and his sense of humour, which have made learning with him an absolute pleasure. Despite not teaching me from scratch (I started when I was 18 but had a long break during my university studies), Ian was able to get me up to test standard, and tailored each lesson to my needs. Ian has been a fabulous driving instructor, and I recommend him unreservedly.
