Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test first try thanks to Rick from Look After Learners! Learned in a manual car around Luton, and honestly, Rick's patience and transparency made all the difference. What I appreciated most was how upfront he is — no sugarcoating, just clear, honest feedback every step of the way. I tend to overthink things a lot, and Rick always called me out on it (some instructors might hold back, but he kept it real, which I actually respected). Fantastic experience: Rick was the best, most patient instructor. I had approximately 12 lessons and an early test came up in Leicester. Never been to Leicester, took the test and passed 1st time with only 2 minors and this is down to Ricks brilliant instruction. Big thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: The instructor I was with, Rick, was very patient with me through all 3 tries of the driving exam I did with him. He showed me how to do everything and pointed out any errors in my driving in a nice fashion. He always believed in me, even when I failed my driving exams and now it has finally paid off. He is a fantastic instructor who I am very happy was the one to teach me how to drive and who I thank for all the time and effort he put in to teaching me.

Fantastic experience: Look after learners is a brilliant learner driving company from day one right up to after your test. I had Rick as an instructor. His lessons were clear and easy to remember. He messaged the day before your lessons to remind you of your lesson, he has a range of different lessons ranging from 1 hour to 2 and a half hours as well as much more. Rick you have helped me a lot and anyone would be lucky to have you as an instructor.

Negative experience: Do not recommend!! Its easy to get your clients/students to right a good review when they pass a test, but this review is for those just starting out, and has never been in the drivers seat, like my daughter. Also, I have "Mutual friends" with this guy, and they never put their kids through his driving school, and recommended someone who is a far better human being and treats his new drivers with kindness and compassion which is not the experience my daughter had. Reasons Mum gives review: - Having to console my daughter after the awful experience she had with this man - Mum is the one paying for the lesson - Daughter is on the spectrum, and this man gave no thought whatsoever to the way he treated her, despite knowing this information in advance. Not even 2 hours of driving, and he had my daughter start on a main road. She was not ready, she was so nervous, but he did it anyway, then he told her he was speechless and confused because she just forgot everything he said. Learner driver, Rick. The clue is in the name LEARNER. If everyone could drive, we wouldnt need instructors to teach them. Rick then upset her while she was in the drivers seat, then told her he would drive her home early (and our ring doorbell confirms she did come home early), all because she was clearly upset (because of him). He drove in silence, no educational moments, no suggestions, no information for her and when she said goodbye to him, he just drove off saying nothing. My daughter said she was humiliated and embarrassed. Before booking lessons, I informed him she was on the spectrum, so I feel like he took this moment to use and abuse a vulnerable person, knowing she would not confront him. Rick - she is a learner driver. You have look after learners on the side of your car, and you did everything but look after her. As you refuse to answer my calls and didn't return a text message, you can take this as confirmation not to bother showing up next week.

Fantastic experience: I started to learn to drive with Rick last year and I passed first time the other day. Rick made sure that I was confident and always went over anything and practised on anything I wasn't happy with. I highly recommend lookafterlearners.

He taught me how to drive properly, always explained to me where I went wrong, explained and showed me how to fix any mistakes which I was making. I had a great journey with Rick and when I took my test I was 100% fully confident and had faith with everything I was taught. I passed my test with only 2 minors. I would recommend anyone to do their lessons with Rick, he’s easy going and a great person.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today with Rick. I have enjoyed the lessons with him and he has made me feel very comfortable. He made sure I was confident in my driving before going for the test. He would always turn up on time and ask what areas I am feeling less confident in to practice.
