Fantastic experience: Passed my Class 2 with them in January 2022..then in October/November went back to do Class 1. Kirstie, who runs the school, was most excellent, giving fixed dates instantly. Her communication is fantastic all the way through. Gary Foster, my instructor was excellent. Calm, experienced and most importantly, was able to convey that experience in a way that meant I could pass my C+E (Class 1)first attempt. Earlier in the year I did my Class 2 with them also. I found it useful to split the two parts gaining useful experience before attempting C+E. It costs a small amount more to do it this way but In my opinion and experience, gets you your C+E easier. Fantastic experience: I had a five-day Class 1 course booked through Hughes Driver Training, but my training was delivered by Power Driver UK. My first day was in a Class 2 (to ensure I could handle a big vehicle) with my instructor Elsa, who was a total joy. She walked me through what I'd need for the day and what to expect with my Class 1. The remaining four days in the Arctic were spent with Martin, who was absolutely fantastic. I passed my Class 1 test the first time thanks to the expert help of Elsa and Martin. A daily debrief at the end of every lesson helped to identify areas that I needed to work on and this moved my progress onwards quickly. I highly recommend Power Driver UK. Everyone I've dealt with has been fantastic and has put me at ease. Their communication is great and friendly. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I've managed to pass my Class 2 test with them. My instructor was Elsa and she did good job on teaching me how to drive and gave me many usefull tips on how to pass my test. I fail the first time because I've touched the kerb but was successful 3 weeks after. Oveall I'm happy with Power Diver and I need to add the lady from the office was very helpful also! So good luck to you too ;)

Fantastic experience: A credit to Martin & Power Driver for helping me to pass my class 2 ( Cat C ) Martin has been a legend in his teachings and helped to put my nerves to rest and make the driving experience as natural as can be. Fantastic experience: Power Driver are a very professional training provider, I obtained my Class 2 lisence in a week without ever driving a HGV before. Kirstie was a great help with booking my course after I had issues with another company as well as being polite and efficient. Gary was my instructor, he is a nice guy and made the learning process very easy. The other members of staff I came into contact with were also great! I would highly recommend thus company to anyone and have also recommended them to freinds that are looking to get their lisence

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished my 5 day course and the experience was perfect! From my first day I really looked forward to going in again the following morning! The training was brilliant and my instructor Elsa was so good! I passed first time and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. I would highly recommend this company! 5 STARS!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, starting from the offices and ending on instructors. Thanks to decades of combined experience (Alan and Ras, thumbs up!) and training to actually higher standard than dvsa requires, first time pass took me by surprise! Thank you very much guys, will recommend to anyone who wants to get trained by professionals.

Negative experience: I bought 2 hours for refresh just reversing I did ask over the phone if they will let me remind 90 degrees turn and bay parking and I have been told YES WE HAVE PARKING AREA, At the place I found out I can just reverse in straight line because they are not allowed to use more space than belongs to them My lesson had to start 11o'clock in practice started 11.30 because instructor had to have coffee first I don't recommend,waste of many ,I doesn't pass my assessment because of reversing

Fantastic experience: Having completed Class 2, CPC and Class one with Powerdriver over the last 12 months, I cannot rate my experience highly enough. I was recommended to use Powerdriver by a friend who had recently completed his training with them too. From my initial contact Leighton was fantastic in guiding me through and explained the stages of become qualified. Glenn and Alan are both hugely experienced and talented instructors. They provided an excellent standard of tuition and put my nerves at ease. A huge asset to Powerdriver, it’s no wonder they are the go to school for the local fire/police services. Due to silly errors, unfortunately I didn’t pass my Class 1 first time. But Leighton and Glen helped get me in a few weeks later and I passed!! Thanks you to all the Powerdriver team!! I strongly recommend the school and getting in touch with them directly rather than through a broker.

Fantastic experience: I would like start saying thank you to Carl for your professional and friendly customer service over the phone. Also to my instructor Alan, who is very strict and almost does not leave you the possibility of an error, Alan is focused 100% on you all the time and observing what you do. So, you almost don't have chance for an error, even in your training, please do not get me wrong, I see it as something very, very positive, because thanks to his perseverance and determination to teach me the best professional way to drive an articulated truck, coupling and uncoupling and reverse maneuver I have my licence. From my point of view, I will prefer this way a million times, instead, have an instructor who doesn't tell you the truth at all times. Thank you very much Alan for your way of training me. When I was alone with the examiner, all your teachings went through my mind. Boom!!!! I passed my class 1 with 3 failures. early indicator, poorly positioned before the roundabout and for using one of the two possibilities of reverse maneuver. I highly recommend them. Fantastic experience: I passed my test in 2016 with power driver and what a great service and now in 2020 I've booked cpc with them needed course fast 2 top up cpc and they got it for me for 1 week later and at a great price. Power driver your all amazing and thanks again. Hope 1 day I will step up to class 1 and when I do your the place to go as always. 11/10 thank you all at power driver

Alan was my instructor but also had lesson with Barry, outstanding and professional instructors! When my exam day arrived (Passed my Class 1 today) i felt comfortable with the trucks and my lessons enough to pass! Again big thanks to the Power Driver UK Team. Fantastic experience: Well what can I say except that my experience with Power Driver for the start of my HGV training was excellent. Warm and welcoming trainers and support staff. I cannot praise my instructor Barry enough for the professional and thorough expert teaching he gave. Funnily enough unlike all his former students I am training not for an HGV career but to accomplish another one of my bucket list wishes! Yes, driving a lorry is a dream for me and I am doing it now! Barry and Alan are a credit to the company and I wish them very best wishes in their continued careers.
