Fantastic experience: My husband took lessons with Perry he is so patient and supportive. He also helped my husband with practical driving test, which he passed first time he couldn’t have done this without all of his support and advice my husband would highly highly recommend Perry.

Fantastic experience: After a long, difficult journey with driving, I have just passed my test with 4 minors. I can honestly say Perry is an amazing driving instructor; he is organised, efficient and professional. He also made me feel completely at ease when driving, which was amazing as I have always found it such a nerve racking experience. I had zero confidence with driving when I started, and Perry had so much patience and believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. I can’t thank him enough for all his support.

Positive experience: Passed my driving test first time with Perrys. Perry is a great instructor and he goes through all manoeuvres with detailed instructions and diagrams. Negative experience: Had a horrible experience when I first set out to start driving. The one negative review rings true with me and makes me question the validity of the rest. In his response to my review I left years ago he compared my name to "con a reader" any mistake I made was not only mentioned but entirely blamed on myself despite it being my very first lesson. I'm sure there are teachers from the school that act professionally and are kind, polite, even compassionate.perry himself is nothing like that. It's been over ten years and seeing this company pop up I felt completely obliged to make this review again. Please feel free to contact me if you need any proof.

Fantastic experience: Me, my mum & brother have all passed with Perry (some years apart) and I will always recommend him to anybody looking for an instructor! I had quite a lot of lessons and did pass plus too - my mum was keen for me to learn slowly and gain experience before being let loose on the road! Perry was tough on me at times but you know it’s because he’s passionate about what he does and wants you to be the best and safest driver you can possibly be. 100% recommend! :)

Fantastic experience: Perry was an amazing instructor, very patient and kind he went through manoeuvres very clearly with detailed diagrams before walking me through stuff like reverse and forward bay parking and parallel parking. Perry also helped me to believe in myself more when it came to driving and helped me to learn what I did wrong when I failed my first two driving tests. if you want an amazing driving instructor who is patient , kind and fun to learn to drive with then I could not recommend this man enough.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school that teaches to a high standard, I passed first time with almost no minors The lessons were well structured letting you improve one thing at a time, the instructor was patient, and the timings were flexible which was a huge benefit to me. As someone who absolutely hated driving due to nerves I gradually found my confidence to the point where I was more than happy to drive down long country roads or busy London streets with ease.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test in September with Perrys. I had an excellent service from doing my lessons to taking my test. Perry was very patient and understanding, as my confidence in myself wasn't very high. It has made such a difference being able to drive, as I have two children. Clare is also lovely! I would definitely recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!! I passed with Perry yesterday and did an intensive course that took me just over 2 month ( we had a break over chirstmas) i passed my driving test at the enfield test centre with no minours i couldn't belive it I'm still very much over the moon and absolutly buzzing i am so greatful to have learned to drive with Perry. To tell you a little bit about Perry and my experience with him... he is an AMAZING instructor i could not fault him he was firm when he needed to be but i was very comfortable with him and always made me feel at ease. Let me tell you something about Perry he makes the driving lessons alot harder so when in comes to the test u feel like it's a walk in the park ( I was so worried about my test but now i am confident to be on the road by myself because Perry made my lessons hard so that if i was to come across certain situation i would always be ready). I'm so thankful to Perry and his buisness for what he has done for me and i would be recommending him to all of my friends. You would be crazy not to take him on as your instructor!!!! PS his wife Clare is an absolute diamond she is the person you may talk to when u first call or email. THANK YOU PERRY AND CLARE YOU ARE AMAZING ❤

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I passed first time But I was nervous before my test but Perry built my confidence up and I did it! Great instructor and a lovely person, everyone in my family drove with Perrys and everyone succeeded first time!

Negative experience: Had driving lessons with this man roughly around two years ago. Unfortunately my time with him was not a pleasant one. I was not a very confident driver and this man made me feel even worse, like he was victimising me. Due to my poor driving ability he questioned that I might be dyslexic or had dyspraxia. After speaking to other people who had lessons with this man I learned that he had made these remarks to other people. When it came to my driving test, he suggested that I shouldn't go through with it because I wouldn't pass. This was at a time when it was too late to rearrange or get my money back. I actually ended up passing that test, but only for the fact that I was less scared of the examiner than my driving instructor. Wouldn't recommend driving with Perry if you aren't very confident or would prefer to be taught by someone more patience.

Fantastic experience: I had two of my sons learn with Perry. Both passed first time! We live near Bishops Stortford but Perry was recommended to me so we asked if he would mind travelling over here to teach. The boys said Perry really put them at ease and because they were relaxed, it made learning to drive so much easier. Thanks Perry for your patience and great teaching. My husband and I now have our evenings back instead of driving them everywhere, plus we have a new taxi service when we've had a drink!

Negative experience: Tried politely to move to a new instructor (which I am intitled to do being the paying customer) as it wasn't working for my daughter she needed more flexibilty, and someone more sensitive to her lack of confidence. Not very understanding at all, very disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: I am completely shocked at the bad review for pass with Perry's , he teaches my son to drive and I decided to use him from recommendation . Perry Hughes as been very professional and accommodating to my son and cannot fault the way he teaches my him to drive, he emails progress reports after every lesson and goes beyond and above to help with any areas that may need extra attention . I would recommend this company to everybody
