Fantastic experience: Kathryn was absolutely amazing, she instructed me well and got be from beginner to passed first time in just over 4 months. Patient, reliable and I looked forward to my lessons every time. I'll miss driving with her, she's a fantastic instructor.

Fantastic experience: A massive thank to Kathryn for teaching me to drive. I had a bad experience the first time I attempted to learn but this was so much better. Kathryn is very supportive and has clearly thought through the teaching process. Sessions were as relaxed as they can be, and you never felt criticised when making errors - they were used as opportunities to learn. I can only say positive words about my experience and can highly recommend. I passed with no minors!

Fantastic experience: Kathryn is an incredible driving instructor (trust me, I’ve had experience with others, which is why I came to her!). Not only was she professional, on a personal level she made me feel very comfortable and we moved at the perfect pace. She also helped me to accommodate my test so that I had an opportunity to pass before my theory ran out, and lone behold I passed with no minors! I’m now on the road and cannot thank Kathryn enough :)

Fantastic experience: Kathryn is exactly the kind of Driving Instructor you want to learn from. She's calm, clear, encouraging and supportive. I was a very anxious learner, but she made me feel at ease during every lesson and even made me laugh after I made silly mistakes. After having tried to learn with three other Instructors and stop/starting lessons in the past for various reasons, I can easily say Kathryn was an absolute standout in terms of teaching skills. Being an older learner (and very nervous), it was lovely to learn from someone who was so patient, but who still pushed me to progress when I needed it. Anyone would be lucky to learn with Kathryn, she'll turn you into a safe driver and will set you up for success when you do pass. And pass I did, first time and with 3 minors! Thanks Kathryn, I'll miss our chats.

Fantastic experience: Kathryn is a patient and very helpful instructor! I came to driving lessons as an adult with 20 years of driving experience in the US. I was a bit scared about driving here, but Kathryn helped me understand what matters for safe driving in the UK, both on the test but also beyond in daily life. I have terrible test nerves, so I didn’t pass the first time, but I was able to get a cancellation two weeks later and pass with two minors. I truly felt confident by the second test and I know that these lessons have made me such a better driver, even after years on the road in another country. Thank you, Kathryn! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend City Driving Academy. Kathryn helped me pass first time after moving to Nottingham for university so I was adjusting to new road layouts and areas. She explained everything in detail, helping me understand and remember ways of doing things correctly and safely. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend City Driving Academy enough having struggled with my learning back in 2017 I was convinced I’d never drive again. After one lesson with Kathryn my confidence and willingness to learn had come back, and I learned to love driving. She’s was always patient with me and incredibly calming, and I’d recommend learning with her to anyone, especially if they have anxiety with driving. My instructor (Kathryn) is highly skilled, friendly and pays great attention to details. She always came up with solutions that helped me improve in my driving and within a short period I saw great improvement which eventually led to me passing my test.

The lessons were always well planned with Kathryn helping me concentrate on areas that needed more attention from the previous lesson. She always took note of all this in her ‘big black dairy’ ☺️ & my book so that we would not miss out on any detail. We started every lesson with a proper assessment & discussion of areas where I may have made mistakes. This worked well for me. When I started, I did not think I would be this confident and that I would actually enjoy driving a manual car!
