Fantastic experience: Stuart is an amazing driving instructor, I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for one. He has been very patient throughout my lessons all the way to my test date and really helped me with my driving nerves. He is the most skilled instructor I have had and I can only speak highly of him and his help through my driving learning journey.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Stuart enough as a driving instructor. I undertook an intensive 30 hour beginner course followed by additional lessons to pass my manual driving test first time and then did the full Pass Plus course with him. He was approachable, caring, calm in giving feedback and able to judge ability with ease. After my beginner course, I did not feel ready for the test and we were able to discuss my plans and aims effectively to chart a first time pass with a few more hours. I felt fully confident when going for my test that I was ready due to his guidance and feedback. Furthermore, as a higher sector educator for 10 years as part of my other roles, I am well aware of good practice for teaching. Stuart is up to date on best educational theory, able to apply it effectively to driving education and utilise this for students who might struggle a bit more e.g. those with dyslexia and dyspraxia. He attends driving instructor conferences and keeps up with best practice resources. If you want someone who is committed, caring and knowledgeable, Stuart is the instructor for you for the test and beyond!

Negative experience: I booked 5 hours with Stuart. In that time we never got onto actual roads. Just doing straights in an industrial estate followed by him getting me to adjust the seat every time I had to drive means in a 2 hour session I got to drive down the car park/industrial estate 3 maybe 4 times. One whole hour was dedicated to sitting in the car in a parking lot and “practicing” changing gears. This alone tells you enough. I feel completely ripped off, I’ve learnt nothing and I’m £170 lighter. Completely disappointed. Money wasted. Since I left I’ve heard of other victims of this exact same extortion by not only Stuart but other LDC instructors. If you love being taken advantage of then I’d totally recommend you Stuart Burton.

Fantastic experience: First time pass When you choose a driving school you never know if you will get a good instructor or not. But I was very lucky. I did my lessons with Stuart burton, he is an excellent instructor. He has a way of making you calm and relax while at the same time keeping you focus on learning to drive properly. He is a perfectionist so at the end of the lessons you will be able to drive to perfections. Fantastic experience: I have been very fortunate and had the utmost pleasure to be taught professionally driving by Stuart. From the very first lesson until the day I officially passed, Stuart has been most patient, respectful and very knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous and anxious to be driving as I've had a bad experience with a previous instructor, but Stuart was very understanding and made sure I felt at great ease, made the driving lessons enjoyable and gave me the confidence to drive safely. The lessons were very structured and clear to follow. I was given a lot of handy tips and formulas to follow especially the exam preparation, with sat nav, practicing test routes and mock exams which made it so much easier and helped me become consistent with all aspects of driving and ultimately PASS my driving test!. Thank you so much Stuart for being a brilliant instructor. I can highly recommend him as a teacher!
